FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF Bestiary!

THIS ENTRY IS ALLOWED TO HAVE NON-ALIGNED TAGS.

This is the complete bestiary for FINAL FANTASY 5 SPOOF, and all screenshots are from my own playthrough. I'd like to say that this GameFAQs bestiary document helped me a lot; thank you! (as did this one, for more precise directions in certain places) Also, this walkthrough helped me a lot, too! Actually, I was tired of suffering through emulator slowness and game glitches x8, so input a code for a 100% complete Bestiary. These maps will help, since the world map DOESN'T FUCKING WORK IN THIS GAME!

This is a good RPG Classics page for Pro Action Replay codes!

CHECK THE MAP WITH THE Y BUTTON, NOT THE R BUTTON!

Fire-Powered Ship puzzle directions.

Notes to self: Activate the All Characters Have All Abilities code, and then TAKE IT OFF, or else the game will get incredibly frustratingly SLOW. Also, take all codes off before going to the Big Bridge, or attempting to find the Phantom Village! VISHNU VEST EQUIPMENT! Speaking of equipment, EQUIP KRILE WHEN SHE JOINS THE PARTY AFTER GALUF'S DEATH! As far as codes go, the "have 99 of all items" code makes the game freeze and have sound issues!

After much frustration over three hours, I managed to defeat Omega by using the power of Mirage Vests (IMAGE STATUS) / Coral Rings (fire protection), and a pre-emptive strike! I used it to power up my blades with Thundaga Spellblade, then used Rapid-Fire on Faris... I think it was a fluke!

Also, to reset the breath timer in the sunken tower of Walse, climb up the fourth floor vine to get to that chest! I finally actually defeated Famed Mimic Gogo at the bottom of the sunken Tower of Walse by using the Dragoon / Dual-Wield x4 strategy! It was pretty tricky since I wasn't sure that all my characters would survive at least five Meteor attacks, but two of them did! Got garbled text as part of the bugged fight, too... "Dragged into another dimension! Odin: All right, that's far enough! Turning to stone... Can't escape! Countdown to Pestilence... 4 KO'd! Countdown to Eruption... 5 KO'd! Level halved! KO'd!":D

To get the Drakenvale Golem in the Bestiary, defeat the dragons first and THEN defend until he thanks you!

Stick "READ AHEAD" on a character other than Lenna! To prevent having to input all the codes over and over again, SAVE / remove all codes / then close and reopen the emulator! They should all still be there!

For the Moogle in the Forest of Moore to move after the trees have been set on fire by Tzepish, save the game in the cave and then reset. The creature should NOT be blocking the entrance.

Airship in World 3: It's just above Surgate Castle, east of the Pyramid.

DO NOT SET ANY "No Random Encounters" CODE! IT WILL GLITCH OUT THE GAME! (submarine / world map won't work, and there WILL be no random encounters)

TRY DEFEATING NEO SHINRYU FIRST BEFORE OMEGA MK. II - or else you can't get out of the room for some reason! (the exit door SHOULD be open, but is shut tight instead!)

This morning, it was time to put my shorts away and put another blanket on the bed. Then Jon decided to act like an entitled person, thinking that I could just bus to Commercial Drive from Richmond on my birthday, and threatening me that the kids wouldn't be there if I insisted that the dinner be at 6. Like, do they bug and bully and manipulate Harmony's side of the family into starting dinners at that early hour?! I'm about to cancel this whole idea of a "family" birthday dinner!

Bartz, Lenna, Galuf, and Faris finally make it to Jachol in FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF. They meet this old man: "Welcome to Jachol, the town with the name that sounds too much like JACK HOLE to be a coincidence."

Bartz, Lenna, Galuf, and Faris finally make it to the Jachol Cave in FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF. They open this chest to get the Thunder Whip, then decide to check it again. "There's a note inside... I went out to Richmond Centre at 11:30 to see if I could get relatively inexpensive new sneakers from Payless, and I got some CHAMPION Size 6 shoes for $40. I'd rather pay more for a pair that doesn't make me feel like my feet are going to (halfway) slip and fall out of my shoes at any given step! Then I went to Shoppers to get an on-sale T&T beef teriyaki sushi roll for lunch (since it expires tomorrow), and ate that at the food court. After checking my chequing account balance at the bank machine, I got on a 407 at 1:20 and dropped by the pharmacy next door to see if I could get my prescription refill for my birth control before the long weekend, and I did!

After (MORE) COFFEE TIME, I left at 11:40 AM on a 407 to make it to Jon and Harmony's at 12:15 or so. Apparently, nobody was home, but I heard Ayler's voice a couple of minutes later from the car. Jon made a comment about my San Francisco shirt - yeah, it's pretty noticeable, but I don't care. I entertained the kids while Jon went to Anna's Cake House to get various bakery items for lunch before his violin student Justin came over. They wanted me to read a Chinese vocabulary book and a RUN SALMON RUN book. I helped the kids eat lunch, and made Hiero eat some pork bun to get some protein. No, you're not eating a "meal" that is 98% cantaloupe and cherries! Ayler kept asking me what time Harmony would be home if she was in Kerrisdale or UBC since she got off work early; no idea! Harmony did get home later, when Jon was teaching and telling the boys to listen to me. At least I told them that fact about the 35.4-mile tunnel in Sweden, to which Ayler's only question was "how many hours does it take to get there?" Probably a long time! Harmony mentioned that Ayler had physio, so I could keep Hiero occupied with the toys there. Sure, why not? I sat on a chair there and it BROKE! The owner (Laura) came out to see whether I'd fallen, and the receptionist and other people there seemed concerned too. Apparently, it was a hardware fault which should never have been there. Maybe, maybe not!

We talked about roller coasters and "BUS!" (lots of 8 Fraser buses!) on the short walk to Robson Park from the physio clinic. While there, Ayler wanted to take some other little girls' grapes AND toy buckets! We got a bunch of Vietnamese sandwiches for dinner so we could have something besides blackberries. If Hiero had his way, he'd eat 90% blackberries for dinner - NO! Ayler asked how many hours it would be until I left, then wanted me to stay seven more hours at 7 PM. No, because you'd go to bed soon, and I want to definitely be home way before 1:30-2 AM when the trains and buses stop regular service! When Jon was teaching a piano student named Curtis, I helped to keep Hiero occupied with the "tunnels and arches." I actually got home at 8:05 on a 407, which is relatively efficient at least!

"You Are a Go-Getter"

You are a very ambitious person, and you're constantly adding to your list of goals and dreams.
While you dream big, you never let that satisfy you. You like to get out there and make sure your dreams come true.

You don't lose sight of your larger purpose in life, and you keep working even when things get tough.
Your attitude is almost like magic. When every door closes, you keep knocking until a new one opens.

From Reddit on June 18, 2017: I automatically lose respect for people who use the word "normative" when "normal" would do, but this special snowflake seems to think that "monogonormative" is a real word AND thinks that everyone should be cool with a non-monogamous lifestyle. You can DEFINITELY be cheated on if you're poly!

I think it's amusing that I'm mentioning Teunis and Krista in the same post since they used to go out with each other and are now exes, haha. :D

After MORE COFFEE TIME, I went out at 6:15 to mail Lisa's Twisted Whiskers goldfish in martini birthday card to her at the London Drugs post office. Then I went to the Richmond Centre Dining Terrace food court (eating some food first - vegetable chow mein, mixed vegetables, pepper steak, and slightly spicy Kung Pao chicken from Kung Pao Wok) to meet up briefly with Teunis so to return a Christmas-themed envelope with Teunis's name on it, plus a Percy Jackson and Olympians: The Lightning Thief DVD box. At least, I intended it to be briefer than it was. He brought his wife and child (Rochelle and Heidi) from Burnaby, and we both got closure on what happened in 2011, which is nice. Discussed his not talking to Jasmine anymore (good!), understanding, being stressed out, no online following (which is totally fine), vegetables, his treating me to a mango oolong bubble tea with small pearls from Fair Bee Bubble Tea (I was too fast for him when it came to dinner food!), and my nephews.

We also talked about their Vietnamese food with sauces and shrimp salad rolls, Heidi wanting to give me her used plastic cutlery, his meeting Mike once briefly, our lives now, shaking hands, web design, Heidi's impatience / thinking it was Metrotown with the train for kids / liking all the lights, the Canucks, Vikings, my learning the importance of non-rushed alone time / non-emergencies, and a floor plan of the mall. I got home with leftovers at 8:20 on a 407, which is good because it was still light out. At least he says that it's good to see I'm doing much better, and I can say the same for him as well.

I got up at 5:45 AM - UGH! COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT! Teunis emailed me back to wonder about the nearby mall's hours - maybe he means Richmond Centre, I don't know. He's also one of those weird people who refers to his wife as his partner, but I can deal with that. I found an old spiderweb by the bathroom, so I got two Kleenexes to scoop it up before flushing that down the toilet. Then I put my bath mat through the washing machine, which seemed to be fine afterwards: I didn't even have to dry the thing since it wasn't overly wet later! Then I protected myself with a scarf, rubber gloves, and plastic bag against a mousetrap with.... wood shavings and a very old tiny gingerbread man on it. Okay then. Since Steph was in town for some weird RCMP reason and we obviously had a family dinner at Wo's for this, it was COFFEE TIME for me at 3:45 before I left at 4:30! I STILL GOT THERE EARLIER THAN EVERYONE ELSE! (despite trying to book it up the stairs at Brighouse Station AND accidentally getting off two stops before I should have on the 3 bus - VERY LONG BLOCKS OF WALKING!) Luckily, Steph / Lisa / Fraser came in five minutes later. Of course I got a hug and kiss from him! We had green beans with pork, beef and broccoli, Chinese fried chicken, Shanghai noodles, sweet and sour pork (Nephew #3 LOVED the pineapples!), rice, corn soup, and yee mein with mushrooms for dinner. Ayler asked about the numbers on the Washington-Pittsburgh game, so I at least told him WHY they were counting down, although Steph added that they count UP in international hockey.

He also made an L and E with various chopsticks, while Hiero wanted to say things reversed or backwards. Fraser just hadn't had enough sleep because he hadn't slept on the plane this afternoon, but that was fine. Ayler asked me how old I was, said I should take off my hat and glasses (not now!), and wanted to come over. Haha, maybe. "Guung Guung" vs. "Yeh-Yeh" blew his mind, haha. "Why do you say Guung-Guung? You should say Yeh-Yeh!" Later, he asked why I said 'excuse me" when I left the bathroom as they were coming in. He was definitely ready to go before others were done! Mom and Dad gave me a ride home, so I got home at 6:55 at least.

Random stuff from Mom and Dad: A Rose and Robin solid chocolate 200g Easter bunny, a pair of pink and dark grey socks, eight double rolls of Royale toilet paper, two ceramic microwaveable plates, a box of Annie's organic macaroni and cheese, a travel mug, two copies of OUR DAILY BREAD covering March to August 2017 (which is honestly NOT going to make me a churchgoing person again), and a one-day pillbox which covers morning / noon / night pills.

Sherry Norris wanted to add me to Facebook from the Puckheads - okay, then! Experienced the "whoosh-whoosh" in my ears again, too! Talked to Vanessa briefly on MSN when she asked about something... yeah, that's still going on. I was going to go out for a short while to visit Grandma and feed her some dinner... I unexpectedly saw my parents there, so they wanted to take me out for dinner AFTER we helped Harmony with the baby. At least I did feed Grandma some congee and her actual dinner of meat / veggies / mashed potatoes, and she thanked me for it mid-feed! She wanted to feed herself some dessert, so I let her do that while keeping an eye on her.

Of course, she asked me whether I wanted some food! As usual, I said no. Mom gave me some shoes and a bunch of mostly-old snacks from Grandma's room (Bugles / Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa medicine with an expiry date of 2002?! / shredded pork / cream wafers / shrimp crackers / Chinese egg rolls / strawberry jam) before we left to see the baby. She also let me invite Chinese Eric to Thanksgiving Dinner - I didn't tell her that I already had invited him during Monday's marathon phone call - and wondered if he'd like to help with Grandma, hahaha! I threw most of the stuff out except the Bugles, which were still good / non-aired out. Later, I got to hold the baby (who smiled and grabbed my finger) for a while before he got fussy - he wanted to look out the window, of course. He also apparently enjoyed bathtime, and HATED being taken out of the water since he cried A LOT! It was cold even inside, for sure.

Harmony says they got back from Portland today, and got really good at eating really fast since the baby had meltdowns every time they wanted to have dinner! The parents and I went to a Vietnamese place to have dinner - it used to be Sun Wong Kee, and I remember it well. After pork / chicken / lamb / shrimp / noodles, we went to see if Mom could find Neo-Citran at London Drugs since she was sick; luckily, she could! (Nicole couldn't last night!) I finally got home at 8:35 or so, to a rather perfidious email from Randal about how my tagging him resulted in "trivial" emails, and how it wouldn't matter if I unfriended him. FINE THEN, I'LL GRANT YOUR WISH! NO MORE HEALING FOR YOU! If you want to be unfriended that badly because you can't stand the emails you get when I tag you in pictures and other people comment on them, FINE! I will grant you your wish, you perfidious fucking asshole. At least others were nicer about it!

It was $21.82, but I'll eat the extra cost. When I got home, I emailed Corey to make sure he's coming home for Xmas from Taiwan, and organized everything into Ziploc bags. (I'd only had that thing since July 17, man!) I managed to find the ones at Shoppers all right, and selected a purple-and-green one with a gold SOLID zipper. Hopefully, that won't break on me anytime soon! That was $25, but I got it for free with the points redemption. I also got some Fire-Roasted Chipotle artisan Tostitos chips, and a more manageable size of on-sale Lindt dark chocolate bar. I'll give the original 300g one to Chrystal, haha.

Decided to go to London Drugs since their large Ziploc bags were cheaper than Shoppers; the extra-large ones were also on sale, so I got two units! While there, I saw the morbid Halloween candy which Janina wanted me to buy: Scaries, Scaero, and Coffin Crisp! I saw ghostly Kit-Kats as well, but I decided not to get them for now. Purchased those for me / Janina / Marilynn / Lisa / Harmony (should get some for Eric H. and Chrystal later), on-sale Pepperidge Farm Chessmen (shortbread?), Halloween cards and stickers, a bubble-wrap envelope for mailing purposes, and two maple syrup nougat chocolate bars. Got home and organized everything first before delving into my latest project again, of course. The skull stuff fits into the envelope, so that'll be going to California!
