When you realize it wasn't a fart...

9/16/19 is also a palindrome date! After DOUBLE COFFEE TIME, I had to leave at 2:15 to see Dr. Ruby at 2:45. Ugh, they can't just do a referral by phone?! I was confused when the 410 detoured way down Alderbridge instead of going on No. 3 Road - ugh, MORE construction! I encountered a nice friendly construction worker, though! At least I got another appointment next Tuesday afternoon for something else I've probably been putting off... I'll just do that and then go to Jon's, I guess.

I got home at 4:10 after seeing an inappropriate MOTHER'S birthday card at Dollar Tree while I was there buying NEW Beeswax Burst lip balm x3 (Creamy Vanilla / Wild Cherry / Peppermint), 35 birthday cards, and three wedding cards. The Canucks played Calgary twice today in Calgary and Victoria at 6 and 7 in their first games of the 2019-2020 NHL preseason, and also split. 3-2 win and 4-3 loss! I also showered today when I got home.


I had the Dr. Oetker wildberry cheesecake as my birthday cake!

Eric H. is still up for his birthday hangout at Boston Pizza this Saturday the 18th around 1 PM for the BC Lions game, and Eric M. said that Boston Pizza was better than Italian Tomato for hanging around for three hours to watch the game.

This morning, it was time to put my shorts away and put another blanket on the bed. Then Jon decided to act like an entitled person, thinking that I could just bus to Commercial Drive from Richmond on my birthday, and threatening me that the kids wouldn't be there if I insisted that the dinner be at 6. Like, do they bug and bully and manipulate Harmony's side of the family into starting dinners at that early hour?! I'm about to cancel this whole idea of a "family" birthday dinner!

After seeing KFC referenced on Not Always Right, I decided that I had to go out and get some for lunch at 2:10, just managing to get the C94. I got a six-piece combo for $10.50, and the price and quantity was better than what I was expecting! Before that, I went to Indigo Spirit / Chapters to browse, and got Strange History (Bathroom Readers' Institute). I even asked about getting a replacement Plum Rewards card (like I did last time I was there), and actually got one! HA! to the clerk last time who said they didn't have any more physical cards! No, I didn't get a bookmark, but I have plenty of spares here at home. I got home at 3:10 on a 407, and now I want to make a Facebook album devoted to the books I've read or owned. Getting all the book covers will take a while, but Goodreads will make the whole process slightly easier!
