I woke up to the news that Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip had died of brain cancer late last night. :(

PERIODS: What my boyfriend, my dad, my mom, my siblings, and commercials think I do on my period... and what I actually do!

These Always pads are not a Sonicare device! FAIL!

From Whisper and Pinterest: Whenever someone says, "You must be on your period," I just say, "I started my day in a puddle of my own blood. Is that how you would like me to end yours?"

Last night, I finally finished the tiny sample size bottle of Crown Royal 90% rye whiskey that I got on April 18! You bet I'm keeping this bottle, too! Tonight, I found 24/7 Youtube streams of AMERICAN DAD and FAMILY GUY, so of course I watched some of that!

There's a Willow Grove (Pennsylvania) landscaper named James Brown?! Bonus points: He refers to himself as James Brown, the Godfather of Soil.

There's a provost at the University of Pennsylvania named Vincent Price?! He's becoming the President of Duke University in July, too!

There's a Philadelphia-area venture capitalist named Winston Churchill?!

From CrimeInc8 and YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE: Tennyson Jacobson?!

My dad uses a toilet seat to put his plate on while he watches TV.

From Matt A.: An XKCD comic (#1011) on baby names! "13 Names for daughter: Ponzi, Eeemily, Fire Fire, Chipotla, Astamouthe, Eggsperm, [sound of record scratch], Parsley, Hot'n'Juicy Ann, Ovari, Friendly, Sean (pronounced SEEN), Joyst..." #2 reminds me of when my ex Korey wanted to name our kids Koreeeey and Leslieeeee because it would be "cool." NO!

I once showed my ex-friend Laura C. this picture of arborio rice being used in mushroom risotto!

From Reddit and Robin Grille's HEART TO HEART PARENTING: Time and time again, children are heavily reprimanded for committing the offense of crying or being angry. Let's get this straight: emotions are not bad behavior. Emotions don't hurt anyone. Suppressing children's emotions on the other hand, DOES cause them harm. Over time, if done repeatedly, it unbalances their brain chemistry. It stresses their immune and digestive systems, and it undermines their ability to relate to others.

The headline is: "A little something that reminds me of how narcissists begin fucking their kids up early on."

From Lucas and Discord: The path to success is never take alone.

Jarome Iginla's full name is Jarome Arthur Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla?!

These are all the enemies I could find in FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS!

I know that this bestiary GameFAQs document helped me a lot; thank you! Also, this walkthrough by Djibriel helped a lot when I was stuck in the game. Here's an amazing codes document. This is an enemy formation document / walkthrough. Here's a game script! Found a good Dragon's Den walkthrough which didn't have atrocious English!

This is a good code document. YAY FOR MAGICITE!

F124-EDD8 gives you 99 of every item.

I used this Youtube playlist by LowBiasGaming as a walkthrough.

The FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS party is in Kefka's Tower, where they have to split up to conquer the dungeon together. They need to step on the circled green button to open up the path for other people, as shown. Bonus: They get a Ribbon from that treasure chest!

[livejournal.com profile] lilaznffairy421 and I have decided to see if we can reach the maximum number of comments on a post, which is currently set at 5000. (I guess the previous limit of 60,000-something was way too much.. probably caused the servers to crash, burn, and explode!)

We're not members of [livejournal.com profile] _commentwhores, so no worries there. If you want to help us reach that comment limit on this post, go ahead! (I thought of not allowing anyone else to comment, but that didn't promote a spirit of togetherness)

It will be interesting to see how long this takes, so the post will be dated. Whoever first leaves a comment, please date it. If we ever get to 5000 on the post, date the last one if you remember!

Leave any comments you like on any topic, but remember: I have full veto power, and I can delete anything I choose to. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *evil grin*

By the way: please include a subject line when starting a new thread in the comments section. It makes my job of sifting through emails so much easier. :D

Edit on Wednesday, 2 February 2005 @ 10:50 PM We're done! Yay! :D For Farrah's friends who want to see this for themselves, it's now public. ;)

Edit on Tuesday, 31 May 2011 @ 8:05 PM [livejournal.com profile] matt1993 wants to get this up to the newer limit of 10,000 comments.

This is for [livejournal.com profile] rogermellie, who wanted to know what my loves and passions in life were.

This is also for [livejournal.com profile] p1r4t3_k1ng, who wanted to know what was cool about me. (or not, depending on my outlook) They also have a last name in common: ANDERSON. :D

Here's a short list:

I'm a bit interested in twins (and other multiples; triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, etc.), babies and kids (I like them to a certain extent, but am a long way from having them right at the moment), reading, humor, true crime, comics.. the list could go on and on.

What I do for fun: reading, going to bookstores and the library, hanging out with friends, eating out with them, keeping in touch with people, listening to music, going to my friends' houses, looking after little kids, sometimes going places by myself, parties at friends' houses, etc.

Foods I like: some Chinese food (hot and sour soup, noodles, curry, wonton soup, etc.), pizza, pasta, chicken, sushi, turkey, Pho noodles, steak, etc.

Music I like: classic rock, some current rock, some pop (no BSB-type stuff for me)... that's about it, though I can stand most other types... even my brother's weird mix tapes of Monster Magnet, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, and Mercury Rev. Some other groups I like include (but are not limited to): Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Everclear, Matthew Good Band, Our Lady Peace, Led Zeppelin, New Order, the Doors, Big Sugar, Creed, Nickelback, Collective Soul, the Police, etc.

Stuff I like to read: humorous stuff, some (auto-)biographies, Guinness World Records stuff (that Primetime TV show is cool), the Outlander series, Bathroom Readers, true crime, trivia, some fiction (and some non-fiction as well), comic strips, stuff about music... guess it all depends on what I feel like reading!

Any more questions? You can ask me in here if you want.. or email me. (that is, if you even know my current email address.. MWAHAHAHAHA)

Oh, and YES.. if you've heard all those rumors, they're true. I am indeed the birthday queen, and I have amazing birthday prowess. (according to my friends Jason and Keith)

I'm an introvert, so I need my time alone to recharge. I also have a mild form of cerebral palsy, which causes me to limp. I am also on disability because of mild depression.

I like reading, listening to music, watching Youtube videos, and video games. I like humorous stuff, Diana Gabaldon books, Bathroom Readers, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, and am getting into random fantasy novels. (I enjoyed Jack Whyte's UTHER) I also like true crime, trivia, some fiction (and some non-fiction as well), comic strips, stuff about music... guess it all depends on what I feel like reading!

Music: I enjoy video game soundtracks, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Ministry, GWAR, Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good, classic rock, some current rock, some pop (no BSB-type stuff for me)... no rap or country, though. I also like Monster Magnet, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, and Mercury Rev. Some other groups I like include (but are not limited to): Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Everclear, Led Zeppelin, New Order, the Doors, Big Sugar, Collective Soul, the Police, etc.

TV shows: I admit to only being a random TV watcher, as the Internet is a vast time-suck. I did enjoy random episodes of SOUTH PARK and KING OF THE HILL. It doesn't matter to me whether you watch TV when I'm around. However, I do like Canucks hockey, and can usually be found listening to the radio or watching TV when a game is on!

Video games: I have played a few of the classic ones only. For some reason, I can't get into contemporary video games. I've played DRAGON WARRIOR 1-4, DRAGON QUEST 5 and 6, EARTHBOUND, the MOTHER series, LUFIA AND THE FORTRESS OF DOOM, and FINAL FANTASY 1 / 2 / 4-6.

Foods I like: some Chinese food (hot and sour soup, noodles, curry, wonton soup, etc.), pizza, pasta, chicken, sushi, turkey, Pho noodles, steak, etc.

I'm looking for a chill, empathetic, understanding, and calm person who is low-maintenance, yet is willing to work on a relationship seriously. I enjoy just hanging around the house once we get to know each other well enough. You should also use correct spelling and grammar in your messages. I prefer text over phone calls, at least initially. If you get to know me, I am a quirky person with her own eccentricities!
