After COFFEE TIME, Tryanna from Pathways picked me up at 12:30 today so we could do some food shopping, but I'm fairly sure I lost my voice at some point overnight. We talked about Croatia, her smoking, Pho, tripe, bubble tea, and more. I got bananas, two birthday cards for Jeremy (beer!) and Christon, on-sale Paldo spicy cheese noodles, Dove lemon shampoo, Dove lemon conditioner, Dove hydration conditioner to go with the GLISS shampoo, on-sale store brand Western Family echinacea, Vedan spicy mushroom and cuttlefish noodles, Nissin sesame oil noodles, on-sale Paldo garlic Namja Ramen, on-sale October Fifth Bakery lotus red bean mooncake.

Also got on-sale Chunky Soup (Beef / Vegetable Beef / Chicken Noodle Soup x2 / Clam Chowder), on-sale original Laksa La Mian noodles, NEW limited-edition Doritos Sonic Sour Cream chips, on-sale store brand Western Family white vinegar, Olivina margarine with olive oil, three cans of Fat Choy straw mushrooms, an on-sale Hungry Man microwaveable turkey dinner / a Swanson's turkey pot pie for Thanksgiving weekend, an on-sale Pepsi bottle for attempted toilet cleaning purposes, on-sale Earth's Own almond milk, and on-sale Lipton tomato garden vegetable soup. Tryanna wanted to know if we could have coffee afterwards since they apparently have a budget for that, but I wanted to get my frozen stuff home and focus on resting my voice instead. Maybe if my voice was 100% today! At least she said that she wanted to help me more often if Barry couldn't!

Chrystal called me from work and then emailed me to say that she couldn't make it to the MEGA SUSHI dinner tomorrow, but still wants to take me out to a birthday meal sometime. I'll for sure let her know what works for me - maybe on Monday or Tuesday. Good thing I didn't call MEGA SUSHI when Laurie said she could come!

I also mailed something to Julie, and got home at 3:45 on another 401 bus. Laurie is in for the MEGA SUSHI dinner, too! MORE COFFEE!

Then I went to London Drugs to get 800 index cards (especially since the sale expired TODAY!), black Secret thin socks, and a purple Life Candy shower puff. Barry called me at 12:30 to say that he'd found someone named Tryanna who could take me food shopping on the 20th. He says he'll be back in early October, unless war breaks out in Japan. I thought Trump was after North Korea, but WHO KNOWS. Then I called Chrystal at 1:15 to let her know what was up, of course. She appreciated it - of course I'll call her later to confirm!

Matt H. unfriended me or deleted his Facebook account, whichever. I discovered that my new CHAMPION shoes were pretty small when it came to taking them off, so after looking up the return policy up online AND calling the store just in case, it was off to the mall on the C94 at 3:30. Luckily, they let me exchange the shoes (paying a $2.80 "cash difference" fee on shoes that are the SAME PRICE) even though there were light dirt marks on them, so I got men's CHAMPION shoes size 7. Not sure why I didn't realize I was buying kids' shoes yesterday... I got home at 4:10 and made dumplings while reconnecting with Jimmy and Lena via Facebook messenger.

I went out to Richmond Centre at 11:30 to see if I could get relatively inexpensive new sneakers from Payless, and I got some CHAMPION Size 6 shoes for $40. I'd rather pay more for a pair that doesn't make me feel like my feet are going to (halfway) slip and fall out of my shoes at any given step! Then I went to Shoppers to get an on-sale T&T beef teriyaki sushi roll for lunch (since it expires tomorrow), and ate that at the food court. After checking my chequing account balance at the bank machine, I got on a 407 at 1:20 and dropped by the pharmacy next door to see if I could get my prescription refill for my birth control before the long weekend, and I did!

After I had COFFEE TIME, I called Kids Physio after Googling the phone number. They actually DID have my red Compass Card because someone found it (presumably in the bathroom), which is a relief! I opted to have them hold it until Ayler's next appointment on Wednesday. Barry picked me up at 12:30 and we went banking and to Price Smart. I got on-sale Olympic organic yogurt x2 (peach / raspberry), JOY dumplings (pork and vegetable / lamb and onion / pork and chives), on-sale store brand bottled water x2 for $5, Nature Clean Oxygen Bleach (for $12?!) Body Zone purple / black fingernail clippers, $1 Coffin Crisp / $1 Ghostly Kit-Kats, a Cookies and Cream Kit-Kat, Sour Cream and Bacon Ruffles chips, a peanut butter Oh Henry chocolate bar, $1 store brand Western Family mixed beans x12 (last day of the sale!), on-sale store brand perogies x2 (potato and cheddar cheese / potato and cottage cheese), Koka spicy black pepper noodles, and a can of store brand mushroom pieces. Also purchased some Juzz Mee curry noodles (partly because I told Shiv on Discord this morning I would), Curry Mee white curry noodles, Penang white curry noodles, Silk almond milk x2, on-sale Six Fortune beef noodles, on-sale Sau Tao black pepper noodles, Vedan Bah Kut tea noodles, and pink Excel White gum x3.

After MORE COFFEE TIME, I left for Jon and Harmony's at 2. I stopped by the Kam Do Bakery to get a BBQ pork bun to eat on the train, then got to the house at 2:45 or so, right on time. I was delayed a couple of minutes by some neighbor lady with a dog who recognized me from Mom's Facebook photos. I didn't really mind talking to her, though. At least the door was open, probably because it was pretty hot outside! When Jon asked, I requested some water. The kids were eating some snacks when I got there: Hiero offered me his peach pit (no thanks!) and Ayler told me that they didn't have any more BBQ pork buns. That's fine, as I'd just eaten one! Then came the usual questions about how long ago and what time I'd eaten it, along with Ayler reciting all the Canada Line stations up to Olympic Village. He's getting smart!

While Jon's music student Justin was over, the kids were pretty loud, but made "gas stations" out of bristle blocks ("Gas gas gas!"), offered me grapes from their plate (sure!), made long trains, and put some tiny playing cards in numerical order. Apparently, they got them from the hospital ("not blood draws - a vaccine!") a couple weeks ago. At least they're not being taught how to gamble yet! Ayler also wanted me to stay for dinner, so I said I'd think about it. Hiero pointed out some holes in my socks - I swear I just bought them, but who knows? I'll just have to get some more later! Ayler asked me whether Jon would have two more music students; I had no idea! Hiero wanted me to read a book about 100 vehicles to him - sure, why not? It's better than fighting with your brother over toy trains and train tracks!

When Justin left, they "gave" him some train tracks, which he of course put back when they weren't looking. Easy to do! When the kids weren't there, I put back the noisy xylophone and the hammer to go with it, but Ayler was okay with catching the balls with his hand. Jon noticed and thanked me, then a woman came over for a piano lesson. Harmony got home and also invited me to stay for dinner, which was ratatouille / zucchini / corn on the cob. Harmony got home and also invited me to stay for dinner, which was ratatouille / zucchini / corn on the cob. She said that she was thinking about taking the kids to the Family Centre, the park, and then to physio on Wednesday, so my coming over around 12:30 would be good. No time for anything but mushroom soup, then!

Ayler said that we could eat the zucchini seeds, and I offered an apologetic "sorry" to Jon and that other student when Hiero squealed at seeing the corn on the cob. "Corn excitement over here!" Then Ayler said that I could stay for "the ice cream" - cute! Ayler thought that Randal would come over - who knows? He did, though. Hiero told me that Uncle Randal was there, so I asked how he knew. Apparently, he heard Randal's voice. Randal was indeed over for music lessons, and he said hi to me. To be polite, I offered him a frosty Hello back. Whatever, I don't care what the kids think. Then Ayler wondered if he'd eaten yet and whether he'd eat later. I said he might eat later if he hadn't already. Ayler asked why he was reading, so I said that he was probably doing it because he liked reading just like me. That's fine for me, but that's all I'm willing to concede.

Harmony brought out one Easter egg each for the kids (which she'd apparently forgotten about for some time), and Ayler asked why I wasn't having any. I had some chocolate at home already, I told him. Harmony said that I could go after dinner, which was fine by me. I actually had to put down my dinner bowl because Ayler requested a hug before I left, which is totally fine. Ayler also wanted me to stay overnight, so I asked him where I'd sleep. "Share Daddy's pillow!" was the answer I got. I told Harmony that she might want to explain why I could NOT sleep in the same bed as Jon, then left after saying bye to everyone except Randal. If the kids notice and say something, whatever. At 7:15, I was home on a 407, and fielded an email from ERIC HO saying that he'd even had to work on his birthday last week! Poor guy! He wants to catch a Lions game, but I looked at the schedule and the only near ones are in September! Not doable if he wants to hang out as August winds down!

Then I went to Price Smart for on-sale Good Taste dumplings (Chicken / Cabbage and Cabbage / Pork), Campbell's cream of mushroom soup x3, and Huy Fong rooster sriracha since the Uni-Eagle sriracha isn't doing it for me. I looked at the available Cup-A-Soup boxes, but they didn't have any four-packs. At the checkout, I called out some lady for putting her unwanted items at the end of the conveyor belt right where I was going to put MY items! I said that I was not going to buy her shit by mistake, and she said "What?!" I merely stared at her and repeated myself, noting that she had way more than 10 items, including four balloons and a whole chicken. After I finally got out of there, I walked to London Drugs for a more relaxed shopping experience. I got Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste and two boxes of chicken noodle Cup-A-Soup before finally getting home at 6:25 on a 401 since I didn't want the ice on the dumplings to melt.

It was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT at 7:30 AM this morning. After finding mouse droppings in the kitchen and looking things up online, I went to London Drugs at 10:20 on a 407. Unfortunately, there was an older lady at the bus stop who thought that I wanted to be the recipient of endless talking about when the next bus would get there. I gave her the eminently unhelpful answer of "no" when asked for the time, and an equally unhelpful answer of "five minutes ago" when asked if and when I left my house, hahaha. I also don't flip off drivers THAT often, but WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE INTO A PEDESTRIAN'S PATH WHEN THEY'RE TRYING TO CROSS AT AN UNMARKED CROSSWALK?! Once I finally got to the store, I got index cards / two on-sale jugs of bleach / some zebra duct tape. I went out at 1:10 to London Drugs so I could mail a card and stickers to Fraser EARLY for his second birthday, and bought a small Jersey Milk chocolate bar / Ragusa Noir dark chocolate bars x2 for me and Eric Ho / on-sale Lindt Fudge Swirl chocolate truffles. When I got home, the Internet STILL was spotty and not working, so I had to call up Shaw AGAIN to see what was going on with that. The girl recommended I go to the Richmond Centre Shaw store and pick up a free Wi-Fi router / modem instead of waiting for it to be mailed, so I did that at 3.

I also dropped by Shoppers Drug Mart to see what else they had for sale: I saved $12 on Stouffer's Sauté Sensations! Thai Chicken, Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Alfredo, and Chicken Parmigiana... yay for working freezers! Then I got home and called Shaw again, getting an East Indian person in Winnipeg instead. He eventually set up an appointment on Friday between 12 and 2 for a technician to come out, but also put me on a priority line because I technically had no service. At 6:15, I went on a useless time-wasting trip to Brighouse Library because I couldn't remember any passwords! Then I went to KFC at Richmond Centre for two chicken wings because of CHICKEN WING DAY, which proved to be more expensive overall at $5.55 than six pieces for $9. The last stop was Shoppers Drug Mart, where I took advantage of the sale on Ben and Jerry's ice cream: Chocolate Fudge Brownie / NEW Peanut Butter Half-Baked! I got home at 2:10 on a 401 since I didn't want to risk the ice cream melting in the heat, as I'd just missed the 407.

I bought on-sale Western Family store brand Ultra paper towels in a six-pack, on-sale Cottonelle toilet paper, Fanny Bay raw oysters for $20 (June 2, 2017), noodles, SOMETHING NEW, ice cream, dumplings, Western Family store brand chili con carne (hot AND original styles!) plus Uncle Ben's Bistro Express basmati rice x2 to go with it, on-sale Finesse extra body shampoo / conditioner, Koka curry noodles x2, store brand large rubber gloves, on-sale Finesse moisturizing shampoo / conditioner, on-sale Juzz Mee noodles x2 (original AND curry), Paldo spicy cheese ramen, regular and curry Laksa wholegrain La Mian noodles, and on-sale Silk almond milk x2. Barry and I saw a GOLDEN TRUCK in the back parking lot of London Drugs! When I got home, I paid my Shaw bill online. Then I went back to London Drugs (twice in one day!) at 6:30 on a 401 so I could get some on-sale LATE JULY organic multigrain tortilla chips for the time coincidence and quirkiness! I love quirky coincidences! While I was there, I couldn't resist getting one last large SunRype apple juice for a total savings of $12 on four jugs because the sale ends tonight! After COFFEE TIME, I had to go out to celebrate Dad's birthday - UGH! At least I got the Samyang 2X spicy Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen (chicken with a bomb!) noodles for Jon from Big Crazy, haha! To kill some time after leaving way early at 10:05 on a 407, I went to Shoppers and bought the cheapest baby boy card that they had ($3 is much better than $7!), plus some cream of mushroom soup since I was at the store anyway. I used the brand new self-checkout machines, and the scanning area seems to be much easier than others which I've used! Then I killed time at Book Warehouse and Trendybucks, where I had a conversation with a woman who noticed my large London Drugs reusable bag. I didn't mind that at all, actually! Jon and Harmony picked me up at the Royal Bank parking lot at 11:25-ish as advertised in Jon's 7:45 AM Facebook message. We had a dim sum lunch at Haiyi Seafood Restaurant on Main and 31st: shrimp dumplings, purple sweet potato dumplings, beef tendons, noodles, rice, egg tarts, shrimp rolls, and more! Ayler asked me if I liked "poke," which is apparently his word for blood draws. Then he said the word "vagina" because Harmony was reading a kids' book about girls' bodies to him - well, kindergarten is going to be interesting, haha.

Mom said that Steph and Lisa aren't going to be here in October because Ryan's wedding has been called off. WHAT?! Good thing that I hadn't mailed the card for baby Henry yet, so I could obscure that reference to October with a black Sharpie later on! Then we talked about getting the kids to eat something, Hiero coming over to me so he could say hi, a video of Havarti swimming, future plans, Ayler loving the lazy Susan, and other things. When Mom and Dad dropped me off at King Edward Station, I decided to go to London Drugs so I could get some more gold / silver / bronze Sharpies [Dec. 30, 2016] for my wallet (so people can feel SPECIAL!) before mailing the baby card at their post office. I got home at 2:10 on a 407, and put some tape in my wallet as well, just in case. Then I put my other gold / silver / bronze Sharpies in my new Modella cosmetics bag near the computer, along with some index cards and pens even though I have plenty in the other two nearby Sterilite boxes. Later, I read that disability payment is actually going up by $100 a month in September, so that's awesome news!

Random stuff from Mom and Dad: three Mega Rolls of Royale toilet paper, a spiral school notebook from Portland, a fridge magnet from our farewell breakfast for Steph and company, Uncle Ben's Country Inn chicken and wild rice, Chinese toothbrush / toothpaste / two hairbrushes from Hotel Wing International, a Joytel Group Hotels toothbrush, a Sweet Cat Miss Gang blue-green shirt / a grey "New York" shirt with gibberish on it from Asia. I went out at 2:45 and got two cans of NEW Comfort Creek Foods chicken and dumplings from the Dollar Tree. Then I got another pack of Samyang 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Ramen Flavor noodles from Big Crazy. Since they had a 10-cent surcharge on debit purchases, I got some Want Want snowy crackers. (which are plain and bland, so I'll give them to Chrystal) Apparently, I forgot my purple wallet there! Good thing that a lady came up behind me in the parking lot and let me know... that saved me some time and energy! Then I went to London Drugs to get a NEW Vileda cotton and microfibre mop and a NEW Vileda Quick Wring bucket - the wringer is connected to the bucket!

That's much easier than trying to get the wringer to stay on the grey bucket from people, so I threw out the old mop and bucket (along with the slightly wet toilet paper packs from yesterday) when I got home at 4. Later, I went to London Drugs again at 5:55 to get the rest of my bulky purchases: Cottonelle toilet paper x2 and on-sale SpongeTowels Ultra-Strong paper towels! I added two on-sale MAMA spicy shrimp noodles and on-sale NEW Bar Harbor fish chowder cans x2 to that as long as I was using my Royal Bank debit card. I got a can of Success mushroom pieces, Knorr mashed potatoes in chicken gravy, and Knorr mashed potatoes in beef gravy. (I had to check if I could microwave them first, of course!) I'm thankful to have the option again to purchase frozen food again: pork and tri-treasure x2 / lamb and onion / pork and chives JOY DUMPLINGS from Big Crazy! Inspired by CuyaDK, I also got some Samyang 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen x4 at Big Crazy, plus Knorr hot and sour soup mix x3 since I was there anyway. I got home at 11:35 on a 407 from London Drugs, which is good. I think I'll wait on ice cream, since I don't care much for the prices or sizes for Häagen-Dazs at London Drugs right now. Hester dropped by at 8:25 (after being VERY impatient when I didn't answer her knocking in two seconds) to inform me how lucky I was: I'm getting a new fridge / freezer tomorrow! She told her supervisors about it, and it took less than a week! I should have told her about it in May when I noticed something, but I didn't think it was great. Then I took a shower later on.

My ex-friend Marko Velimir Kobak, who's a Leafs fan!

Nail Railovich Yakupov?! I think the patronymic is cool enough, though.

Bartz, Lenna, Galuf, and Faris go to the town of Tule in FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF. Being a pirate, Faris ditches the party in order to go drinking in the pub. Everyone else goes to the pub after doing some exploring and shopping. They go upstairs to find Faris asleep in a room. Bartz and Galuf go in separately, and then fall in love with Faris. who comes out and says: "What's with the hearts? Come on, guys, Lenna isn't THAT cute!"

I went out to the Bay at 3:15 on a 407 for a new 3-pack of Jockey underwear in size 9 (last bought on November 15, 2016) since I needed some partly because of the other day. Thank goodness for extra money in my bank account! Then I went to London Drugs to get Tasty Bite basmati rice and some Arroy-D green curry to go with it, bulk Always pads, 400 index cards, on-sale Guacachips, on-sale Salsitas chips, NEW on-sale Paqui tortilla chips in Grilled Habanero / Cool Salsa Verde flavors, and an on-sale replacement $2 dark blue washcloth. I was surprised when I got home at only 4:25 on another 407!

Bartz, Lenna, Faris, and Galuf finally get to Bal Castle from the Forest of Moore thanks to Krile's wind drake. The first three are very surprised to learn that Galuf is actually a king! Bartz: "Eh? I thought you were just some crazy old man - you never said anything about being a king!"

Bartz: "Just kidding! I'd just better mind my P's and Q's around you... King Galuf."

Galuf: "Listen up - before you knew me as a king, you knew me as a friend. Just "Galuf" is fine."

Bartz: "Understood, Just Galuf!"

Galuf: "... Don't push it, kid. Here in Bal, bad jokes like that will get you PUNished..."

After seeing KFC referenced on Not Always Right, I decided that I had to go out and get some for lunch at 2:10, just managing to get the C94. I got a six-piece combo for $10.50, and the price and quantity was better than what I was expecting! Before that, I went to Indigo Spirit / Chapters to browse, and got Strange History (Bathroom Readers' Institute). I even asked about getting a replacement Plum Rewards card (like I did last time I was there), and actually got one! HA! to the clerk last time who said they didn't have any more physical cards! No, I didn't get a bookmark, but I have plenty of spares here at home. I got home at 3:10 on a 407, and now I want to make a Facebook album devoted to the books I've read or owned. Getting all the book covers will take a while, but Goodreads will make the whole process slightly easier!

I think it's amusing that I'm mentioning Teunis and Krista in the same post since they used to go out with each other and are now exes, haha. :D

After MORE COFFEE TIME, I went out at 6:15 to mail Lisa's Twisted Whiskers goldfish in martini birthday card to her at the London Drugs post office. Then I went to the Richmond Centre Dining Terrace food court (eating some food first - vegetable chow mein, mixed vegetables, pepper steak, and slightly spicy Kung Pao chicken from Kung Pao Wok) to meet up briefly with Teunis so to return a Christmas-themed envelope with Teunis's name on it, plus a Percy Jackson and Olympians: The Lightning Thief DVD box. At least, I intended it to be briefer than it was. He brought his wife and child (Rochelle and Heidi) from Burnaby, and we both got closure on what happened in 2011, which is nice. Discussed his not talking to Jasmine anymore (good!), understanding, being stressed out, no online following (which is totally fine), vegetables, his treating me to a mango oolong bubble tea with small pearls from Fair Bee Bubble Tea (I was too fast for him when it came to dinner food!), and my nephews.

We also talked about their Vietnamese food with sauces and shrimp salad rolls, Heidi wanting to give me her used plastic cutlery, his meeting Mike once briefly, our lives now, shaking hands, web design, Heidi's impatience / thinking it was Metrotown with the train for kids / liking all the lights, the Canucks, Vikings, my learning the importance of non-rushed alone time / non-emergencies, and a floor plan of the mall. I got home with leftovers at 8:20 on a 407, which is good because it was still light out. At least he says that it's good to see I'm doing much better, and I can say the same for him as well.

From Janina: Can you spare just $2? Ranji is a nine-year-old boy living in Namibia. He has only one leg, one arm, and one eye. Each day, he has to ride seven miles to school along a narrow road on a rusty bike with bent wheels, no brakes, and only one pedal. If you send us just $2, we will send you the video - it's fucking hilarious.

I had to go out at 12:10 to the London Drugs at Broadway Station AGAIN to make sure I got the on-sale wasabi Pringles chips this time, along with $2 Efruti Fruit Juice Gummies in Berries (Raspberries and Blackberries) and Raspberries flavors. Getting there was fine, as I did that in 20 minutes thanks to just managing to get the 401, but the way back was cluttered with wheelchairs and strollers and scooters! That girl in a wheelchair could have gone to London Drugs in the time it took for her to wait for the 407 at Brighouse! I finally got home at 2:15!

Since I got up at 7:25 AM, it was COFFEE TIME! Later, I called Seafair Safeway customer service to see if I could return Oakridge Safeway items there instead. Since I could, I made plans to go there to return the Tostitos / Mrs. Renfro's salsa since I can't open it even with the jar opener! Before going out at 12:30, I called Chrystal at work to confirm things for tomorrow since I didn't want to waste a shower later, and we are on! At Seafair, they gave me grief about not specifying the brand and type of salsa since they didn't sell the Ghost Pepper there, so they'd have to throw it out. That's not my problem if I just want to return it - and no, I was not going back to the Oakridge Safeway!

When I got on the 402 back to Brighouse, I was surprised when someone called my name. It turned out that Uncle Peter and Auntie Ying were on that bus, having come from a massage and then doing some shopping later! So of course I talked to them all the way to Brighouse! I browsed Shoppers briefly, then bought Heluva Good dip (French Onion / Dill Pickle) which has a limited shelf life but is WAY EASIER to open, Welch's prune juice (which I could open WITHOUT the jar opener for now), NEW Tasty Bite Thai Lime rice, NEW Tasty Bite Thai Penang Ginger Curry sauce, and a dark blue GOODY toothbrush holder at London Drugs before getting home at 2:40 on a 407 in the rainy weather.

After COFFEE AND ASPIRIN TIME, I went out at 3:30 for my dentist appointment at 4 with Sean, which went fine even if a few teeth seemed a bit sensitive. They even gave me free fluoride that my insurance didn't cover, plus an Oral-B toothbrush and Crest Pro-Health Advanced toothpaste! Then I got NEW Uncle Ben's Smokey Red Beans and Rice, on-sale Tostitos chips (low-sodium Rounds / regular Rounds / Gold), on-sale Mrs. Renfro's salsa x2 (Ghost Pepper x2), Crest Complete and Colgate toothpaste in tubes x3 (including Max Fresh x2 in Minty Sparkle with Bright Strips / Electric Mint Shockwave with Micro-Cooling Beads, plus Crest Whitening Outlast with Scope!), a Colgate toothbrush, and Tostitos Salsa Con Queso dip at the Oakridge Safeway. After a brief stop at the Oakridge Apple Store, I went home and got there at 6:10 on a 407. YAY FOR CAVITY DEFENSE TECHNOLOGY! Then I talked briefly to Vanessa via Facebook messages about Jason, lying, and smoking.

Eric M. called me at 11:30 from church to say that he wouldn't be going back to Richmond, but could give me a ride back from Jeremy's. Sure, I can bus there, and I didn't have to leave the house really early at 2 PM! That gave me more time to do stuff! After COFFEE TIME (during which I almost left with my pants on backwards), I left the house at 4, and killed a slight bit of time at Kingsgate Mall. The Books, Etc. store is now 90% DVDs and puzzles! I bought NEW Moscow Mule Kettle chips, OXO beef bouillon sachets, and a Hot Beef Pho Mr. Noodles bowl from Buy-Low Foods before walking over to Jeremy's at 5:15 or so. Unfortunately, I had to see my ex-friend Randal, who mentioned to Jon's friend Mallory that he has "a passion for God and wants it to show at work" - THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU DO! I can't believe I ever liked him!

I said hi to Julie S., Ivan, Emily, Sam, Quan, Gino, Kevin, and Caleb after meeting Jon's other friend Eric (from Jacob's Well) / Angel / Mallory. Then I talked to Stanley about my 90% whiskey, his band, Peter Gabriel, the CODEX, weird acoustic dubstep, and the whiskey. I updated both Jesse and Jon's friend Rebecca about my life recently, and talked about the summer / no editing for Holly / not doing well with change / all this unknown stuff possibly impacting people's recovery (Rebecca said that my point was a very good one which she hadn't thought about before), Jacob's Well needing $50,000 and already raising $42,000 in two weeks / all my nephews loving me ("You have to stay longer! Stay all night!") / Ontario hydro bills. One guy in a Youtube / NPR video even had a traffic cone inside his saxophone, haha! Eric and I left early (after I paid $10 and he made a comment about my chips), and I got home at 9:05.

Then I noticed that Chinese Eric had called me at 5:45, so I called him back at 10. He had called me by accident, but he wanted to see if I was up for seeing a Blue Jays-Mariners game this weekend. I thought he meant a literal road trip, but thank goodness he didn't. He says it's been eight months (really six or so) since we hung out here; he's been busy and apparently had a problem with his Hotmail account, but didn't really specify what. (but did say that he had 3500 emails to sort through... JUST DELETE THEM!) We also talked about heat, a sauna, the 162-game MLB schedule, and catching up later. Hopefully, I don't have to do anything else after next Sunday for quite a while! DRAINING!

I went out at 2:40 to get more on-sale President's Choice Blue Menu Six Bean Medley cans at Shoppers Drug Mart as long as they're still 99 cents! The pharmacist next door recognized me and waved at me, so we chatted briefly while waiting for the light to change. Yeah, Richmond smells like shit again today! I got six cans of beans, two on-sale Brookside dark chocolate bags (mango-mangosteen / pomegranate), eight 99-cent White Cheddar and Broccoli Sidekicks (all the available stock on the shelf like last time!), and an on-sale Speed Stick Irish Spring original deodorant before getting home at 3:25 on a 407.

Since I was up at 5:45 AM (ugh), it was COFFEE TIME! After a nap and such later, I went out at 4:30 (just missing the 401 and just managing to get the C94 instead) to go to the Apple Store at Richmond Centre to hopefully finish my WORMS tagging on Facebook since it just gave me a spinny loading icon no matter what I tried at home. The same thing happened over there! At least I stumbled upon a 99-cent sale for both White Cheddar and Broccoli Sidekicks (I bought four) and President's Choice Blue Menu Six Bean Medley cans (I bought five) ... so since the beans sale ends on June 2, I'll get some more on Thursday! It saves me 70 cents a can from the London Drugs price for a can of beans right now! Then I waited FOREVER for a 407 at Brighouse, getting home at 5:55!
