It's Earth Day 2020 today! I also temporarily got QUADRUPLE DIGITS IN MY BANK ACCOUNT again! Hopefully, my spending habits are a little better than they were the LAST time this happened! Also, I won't need to give $900 of my own money for a family trip like the ICBC insurance settlement. Of course, that only lasted for the time it took me to go banking, never mind grocery shopping! I think I'll just continue my usual money habits this time.

After dealing with a stupid Reddit Vancouver troll, I went banking and shopping at 11:25 AM on a 407 with my Asian old lady shopping cart, noting that the 414 shuttle bus would be discontinued next week as per a sign at the bus stop. Briefly peeked into London Drugs, and at least I didn't have to walk all the way around the block from Moore's clothing store to get to Royal Bank this time, unlike LAST payday! I got NEW Iogo cherry yogurt, NEW on-sale Oikos strawberry-raspberry / Zesty lemon-lime Greek yogurts x2, NEW Lysol Click Gel toilet bowl cleaner x3 (SPRING WATERFALL!) which was really easy for me to unwrap and apply, on-sale Earth's Own original almond milk, a NEW on-sale Tao Kae Noi BIG SPICY SEAWEED ROLL box with nine of them, chocolate orange Jaffa Cakes, and Shin Ramyun Black CUP noodles x2.

Also purchased NEW Western Family regular grated Parmesan cheese (green), NEW Western Family light grated Parmesan cheese (yellow), NEW Pulmuone Katsuo Soba Ramen noodles, NEW Ottogi Super-Spicy Yeul Ramen noodles, NEW Ottogi sesame ramen noodles with an egg block, Western Family mixed frozen vegetables AFTER TWO MONTHS, and a LUCKY 24-pack of Purex toilet paper. When I got home at 2:15 on a 407 with a nice friendly understanding bus driver, I paid my Shaw and hydro bills online. after text exchanges with both Erics about life, I went out again at 7:05 and luckily got another 12-pack of Purex double rolls along with some Old Dutch Restaurante salsa con queso (cheese salsa) and a big bag of Western Family mixed frozen vegetables for more peace of mind.

I also got Green Works toilet bowl cleaner x2 since I can just turn the cap and not have to squeeze it in impossible or difficult positions like I have to do with Lysol or Scrubbing Bubbles. London Drugs also has this, and I forgot about this till now. Got home at 8:10 on a 407 and tested out the Starfrit jar opener on the salsa jar. I hit the jar on the counter first to hopefully break the seal, tried opening it a few times, then I made a mistake by tilting the jar.... I think after that spill, I'll postpone a shower and laundry till at least tomorrow!

Got 100 regular garbage bags for $20 (40 for $8.99), on-sale Jergen's Ultra Care Restoring Argan lotion in 100 mL / on-sale Jergens Original Cherry Almond lotion in 600 mL since I'm running out, store brand lemon dish detergent, on-sale Lindt mini Gold Bunny with mini Easter eggs, on-sale Russell Stover milk chocolate Iddy Biddy Bunnies (50!), on-sale Russell Stover coconut cream / marshmallow and caramel / strawberry cream / caramel / marshmallow Easter eggs, on-sale Russell Stover marshmallow and peanut butter Easter bunnies x2, on-sale Reese Easter eggs stuffed with Reese's Pieces, an on-sale Waterbridge Spring Masterpiece box of Swiss and Belgian chocolates, on-sale Febreze Fabric Refresher, a $5 box of Girl Guides chocolate and vanilla cookies, Gillette bar mop towels x8, a yellow LifeCandy shower pouf, and Heinz white vinegar 1L x3.

It was the first time that I had to board on the back of the bus with my Asian old lady shopping cart because the front area is blocked off with a rope - easy BEFORE the shopping cart, but not so much afterwards! At least I was able to get on and off the bus home - a poor lady in an electric scooter had to find another way to get home! I still think the bus driver was bitchy because I have mobility issues, and I should have noted down her bus number so I could report her later! UGH!


Hungry-Man turkey microwaveable meal, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn on the cob, and an apple cranberry dessert for my Easter Monday 2020 dinner!

I went to Price Smart at 6, where there was zero enforcement of a lineup. I was in and out in ten minutes or so, which is a record these days with the coronavirus pandemic! I got NEW Old Dutch Foods Canada Spicy Salt and Vinegar chips, NEW Saniderm 70% hand sanitizer in a 236 mL bottle for $9, NEW Stouffer’s Cheddar Potato Bake, Smart Ones Pot Roast, NEW Hungry-Man XL Bowls / Pies x4 (Chicken Pot Pie / Buffalo-Style Chicken Macaroni and Cheese / Country-Fried Chicken Croquettes Bowl / Spicy Chicken Queso Burrito), Hungry-Man Turkey, and Hungry-Man Beer-Battered Chicken before coming home at 6:55, just in time for the 7 PM cheer! Saw a bunch of people outside, and I told some kids "Nice poster!" and gave them a thumbs-up.

MORE COFFEE TIME! IT IS LEAP YEAR 2020 TODAY! The Canucks played the Leafs today at 4, and lost 4-2... DAMN EMPTY-NET GOALS AND MY BIRTHDAY BUDDY AUSTON MATTHEWS! Eric Ho confirmed yesterday via text that he was coming over, and also called me at 12:10 to iron out some details, so YAY! I got him to pick up a 24-pack of Nestlé Pure Life bottled water from Price Smart on the way since I was running out. He got here at 2:15, so that was good. We talked about the parking pass / my spare keys, the skyrocketing coronavirus news, Nathan being overseas right now, the 2001 version of THE MUMMY RETURNS with Brendan Fraser, Jeremy, washing hands, my Ontario trip, the bacon quiche / Reser's mashed potatoes / meat lasagna / macaroni and cheese / Peanut Butter Pie Oreos / Mackie's Crispy Bacon chips / Mackie's haggis and cracked black pepper chips, the Lindt / Nutter Butter I gave him in a Ziploc bag, and David Ayres the Zamboni driver. He also called "coronavirus" SARS, and called the Alcan aluminum foil "cling wrap - you know what I mean." Not really or not at first, but he's still a good friend of mine!

Since Chinese Eric confirmed that he is coming over tomorrow, I went to Shoppers at 5:15 on a 401 and bought President's Choice Smokey Bacon and Chive quiches, Reser's Main St. Bistro signature mashed potatoes, and President's Choice meat lasagna. $26 every few months isn't that bad, and I already have chips galore here! Got home at 6:05 on a 407, too!

After a shower in the afternoon, I left at 5:05 on a 407 to get to Marine Drive by about 5:30. Since the liquor store was right next door to Dublin Crossing Pub, I went there to select my Halloween 2019 beer for this season: Phillips Crookeder Ale it was! Steve took me to the meetup table - he knew what I meant by that phrase, hah! I saw Laura again, and met Jeff / Teri / a very late Evelyn. Later, I told Steve that Nate told me that he hadn't responded to some drunken nonsense from the weekend, but Steve IS busy at (not "in") work!

We talked about TORCHLIGHT, APEX, game screenshots, "electric poop," Always changing their pad packaging to appeal to trans and "non-binary" people (really?!), Michelle's love life, Brian coming to fix Laura's dresser tomorrow, Winners being upstairs, moving to a smaller table (damn high stools!), Laura's niece, my nephews, work, and other things. Then we all left at 8:20 - Laura and Teri went to Winners while Jeff happened to be going to the station as well, but he was heading to Broadway in the opposite direction! I was home at 9:05 on a 407, but I really should have left at 8 to be home half an hour earlier like I was yesterday! At least the Compass Card machines cooperated tonight...


NOTE TO SELF: According to Dan, I should have the Yorkshire Pudding and Tullamore whiskey (Johnnie Walker Black sample?) next time I'm here. Maybe I'll remember if I write it down here, haha...

It's National Punctuation Day today... MY FAVORITE! After COFFEE TIME, I had to leave at 2 on a 401 and then a 410 (which I just got to on time, no thanks to idiots blocking my path on the sidewalk) for my appointment with Dr. Ruby before I helped with the kids. That was uncomfortable - I also saw a professional Audrey. Also, I had to buy more NEW Beehive Burst Peppermint lip balm at the Dollar Tree since there was no photo online that I could find, so I had to take my own photo. (I had ripped mine open last week before I figured this out...) I was there on time, but STILL had to wait 20 minutes to be seen! UGH! I should have gone to Dollar Tree before rather than after! Then I tried to speedwalk over to Lansdowne station a block and a half away, and just missed a Waterfront train thanks to these two slow ladies on the elevator going down.

When I got to Marine Drive station, I definitely needed a snack, so I went to Tim Horton's. Luckily, there was no lineup, so I got a non-sticky cheese tea biscuit and then got out of there to find that a wheelchair wanted to get on the 3 as well. Then a stroller wanted to get on - at least this one contained a fairly curious kid who growled and made various noises, unlike the other stroller who got on after that one left! After another delay caused by the driver stopping in the middle of the road for five minutes to check an alarm that was going off, I finally got to Mount Pleasant at about 4:20 when I could have been there at 4:05! Too many delays! Yeah, I used Term to complain to via text, haha.

Inside, Penny was just finishing up speech therapy while Beckett was failing at napping again. Almost right after Penny left, it was off to the park across the street because Harmony wanted to walk Beckett around the playground to see if he'd nap then. Spoiler alert: He did not. Ayler asked if I wanted to play tag or Manhunt - no, because I had run out of energy and was like a car which had run out of gas. Hiero asked why I walked how I did, so maybe Jon and Harmony should talk to him about it at some point. Once we got home again after more promises of consequences, I got to play with Beckett for a bit. He liked the baby pop-up toy because it made him laugh more than usual, wanted me to shake my head a lot because it was funny, liked PEEK-A-BOO as per Hiero, tried eating my DRAGON HOODIE strings again, and climbed on me a few times. (he did pull Hiero's hair, though!)

At the same time, Hiero was trying to show me his origami. Blowing up squares to make huge boxes, oh my! Later, I stayed close as Beckett crawled on the couch despite Ayler telling me not to let him do it. Well, you're doing and completing a HUGE connect-the-dots puzzle, so I'll do what I want while keeping Beckett safe in my own way, including trying to put on one of his missing socks. We had salmon, congee, Chinese chicken soup, meatballs with ketchup and barbecue sauce, some veggies, and ridiculous amounts of shredded pork. Then we talked about whether Jon had been shot today at the Downtown Eastside (he was fine and didn't have to lie on the floor as per Hiero's question), why people shoot at each other ("because some people think that the best way to resolve their problems is with guns" and "that's why we don't joke about guns"), my Cactus Club birthday dinner, Ayler seeing Brooke early this morning ("how do you know?"), Hiero doing flips and gymnastics in the elevator earlier and being injured, and how much everyone in the family could eat compared to each other.

After I washed dishes for a bit, I read to Hiero about Optimus Prime and the Decepticons, then listened to Ayler play a boogie on the piano before listening to him read a Level 2 story about polar bears. Sure I had to help him with some words, but that's normal. I left at 7:20, but couldn't get a 3 bus till 7:40 thanks to a couple of buses being out of service! I missed a Brighouse train by five minutes, and JUST managed to get a 407 at Brighouse, no thanks to people blocking my path where I was going to run to the front door of the bus. Do I really have to shove my way past other people all the time to get where I'm going in a timely fashion?! I got home at 8:35, checked my mail, and found Julie's birthday card plus random stuff - yay!


Random stuff: Nathan returning the OUTLANDER novel to me, six packs of Compliments Safeway brand spicy chicken instant noodles, and yet another pair of reading glasses. Good thing I didn't buy the Jergens lotion today because of all the walking I had to do, AND the utter weight of the 650-page paperback book!

After COFFEE TIME, Eric M. picked me up at 7 so we could go to the Richmond Centre Cactus Club. Yay for both Erics, Randal, and Jeremy! I assume Chinese Eric was texting white Eric while we were trying to find parking at the mall, so I texted him saying just that, then he suddenly appeared when we had finally parked. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, so we just chilled in the mall coffee shop area while talking about Randal's sales guy taking them all out for lunch at that Cactus Club a couple of weeks ago, my giving Chinese Eric the last bag of Chitato Indomie Mi Goreng chips, Randal and Jeremy giving me birthday cards, the BC Lions (so boring), and Nathan not being able to make it. (HE isn't a flake!)

Once we were seated, I ordered a jambalaya rice bowl and iced tea. Randal had steak and frites with some beer, Chinese Eric had flatbread, white Eric had some blackened Creole chicken, and Jeremy had some butternut squash ravioli with prawns. Chinese Eric had a nosebleed halfway through dinner, but he wasn't sure what it was at first. I even took the napkin and moved it closer to the candle to see if it was sauce or something else. At least I wouldn't have to deal with that if it happened to Jimmy anymore! Chinese Eric tilted his head back and not forward, contrary to white Eric's Googling. (I had to go in as Cactus Guest)

We talked about our food, how bubble tea ISN'T some new fad, Jon, Harmony, Ayler, Hiero, Beckett, their not having a microwave (so they're the healthiest kids that Randal knows), Randal not taking piano lessons for the right reasons (and practicing was getting tedious), the automatic blinds ("why is it so dark suddenly?"), Justin Trudeau's blackface scandal, real-life Twitch streams, raiding Area 51, the Toronto Raptors memorabilia (white Eric had the right hoodie!), a future sports hangout, Jeremy not texting at all, Hiero's view on kindergarten, the fire outside, and just hanging out. They convinced me to order a dessert since it was my birthday dinner, so I did - white chocolate cheesecake! Then I found some Area 51 Naruto runners from a different angle on Reddit, and had to show Jeremy - he laughed! Randal commented that my phone's camera flash was really bright - well, the restaurant was really dark at that point! White Eric drove me home at 10:30, and it had really started raining then.

I had a chocolate muffin, coffee, and pear slices as breakfast before Deb dropped me off near Brighouse Station. The one-week followup went pretty well at the eye clinic: NO MORE GLASSES FOR NOW! I decided to get a NEW McDonalds Chocolate Nanaimo Bar McFlurry at the Broadway McDonalds, but that was very disappointing... YUCKY coconut flakes! Then I went back to Deb and Dylan's on a 407, but checked out the nearby M and M Meat Shops since I'm rarely out this way: Cilantro and Lime basmati rice, Brown Basmati and Wild Rice, and Long Grain White Rice in microwaveable packages. I saw some BAD SPELLING at the Chateau Quality Drycleaners: HOW DO YOU MISSPELL "COMFORTERS"?!

Eventually, I had fried rice with chicken and sriracha sauce for flavor as a real lunch. Vicky, Jason, baby Lucas, Pastor Dan, and white Eric all came over tonight for dinner: Pizza Hut Supreme pizza x2, quinoa salad, Build Your Own Taco from Costco, Welch's white grape juice, boxed Pinot Grigio wine, French bread, prosciutto, coffee, tea, cantaloupes, and Two Bite Brownies! We talked about small group memories, moving a lot, kids picking up things quickly, FLINCH the show, the swearing Roomba, the Victoria Day long weekend, Christon's wedding being the same day as Mike Kwan's (August 31), remembering wedding anniversaries, Sharon, and church stuff.

Eric agreed to give me a ride home, which we reached at 9:40. He definitely helped me wheel my stuff into my place! When I left Deb and Dylan's, Deb gave me some frozen food because Dylan was thinking of me. Walmart's Your Fresh Market shepherd's pie and chicken Parmesan are good, but technically expired since the expiry date is May 7. Guess I'll have to eat them both soon-ish!

Brian picked me up at about 9 last night from the hospital's main entrance, but I had to take a gigantic huge detour because the construction had blocked off the sidewalks right by my place AGAIN! (going through the parking lot and then find the sidewalk by the pharmacy and then cross THREE crosswalks to get to the hospital) He had joked that it would be like Little Iraq trying to get to my place, and this was about right. The chill get-together was for Paulo's 27th birthday, so of course I was going to come out and meet him. Things were fine until we tried finding Fremlin, but I eventually called Holly (who doesn't have a buzzer system or an elevator in her apartment building?!) when Brian eventually found it. She said that she was going to throw her keys down to us, probably because she was tired of going up and down the stairs for everyone else!

When Brian finally figured out the front door lock (the one in my building is recalcitrant as well), we went upstairs to Holly's suite. We met Paulo, and said hi to Holly and Darryl. Talked about bartending, gin and tonic, red wine, beers, smoking (always someone's choice), travel (Jordan and Egypt and Australia), the leftover pizza with pepperoni and sausage, online people in the other Discord server, Gastown, awful dates, hyphenated names, feminism, the 407, friends being in abusive relationships, weird names like Jesus Condom, the closed sidewalks around my place, (looking for) work, Long Island Iced Teas, (video) interviews, San Francisco, Montreal, fudge Oreos, and my Korean BBQ Kettle chips. Of course I let Holly keep them! Turns out that Paulo lives two minutes from me, which is always good just in case. I let Brian drop me off at Birchwood instead of Dogwood, but I was still with it enough to figure out where I was since things looked different. Got in at midnight, which is fine. Good times with FREEDOM!

It's MARIO DAY today! I had to leave really early after DOUBLE COFFEE TIME because I had to walk to Brighouse station - thanks, endless sewer upgrades and construction! I had the on-sale Lindt chocolate bars (Caramel and Sea Salt / Lime Zest) for Harmony's EARLY family birthday dinner at Como Taperia! (early in more ways than one...) Jimmy was also bothering me about intimate hair details and wanting to "have fun" on his birthday when he KNEW I had things to do before I left at a certain time. NO MEANS NO! Fuck him! I killed time by purchasing a replacement red sweatshirt at H and M, where I also saw a DRAGON HOODIE! :D

We had a bunch of seafood and tapas (octopus / garlic and bread soup / (mashed) potatoes / eggs) while baby Beckett screamed happily at me (rivaling the restaurant's 80s music), Ayler wanted to check the weather everywhere, and Hiero liked constructing Cheerio towers through his toothpicks. After dinner, Hiero said he wasn't tired despite losing an hour of sleep - good for you! I AM! Mom said she had to pay more money to prevent me from accessing data, and that the dinner was $168; if you think I feel guilty about that, YOU'RE WRONG! Then we had to go to Auntie Eva's to drop something off before the parental trip to Hong Kong to see Great-Aunt and cruise around. At least they'll be away from Wednesday to the end of March! I finally got home at 6:45!

I woke up to NO WATER PRESSURE AT ALL at 7:30 AM, with NO NOTICES about it! NOT ACCEPTABLE! I very politely called Hester at 8:45 AM, who said that it was an emergency for the whole building, and that it should be fixed then. I tested it out using both sinks and the toilet, and it seemed that way... PHEW! After I had COFFEE TIME, Barry picked me up at 11:50 and we went banking and to Price Smart. I bought NEW Bassili's Best shepherd's pie which expires in 2020, NEW Mott's Clamato Caesar Pickled Bean Caesar tomato juice, on-sale V8 tomato juice (CHILDHOOD MEMORIES!), an on-sale beef teriyaki bowl which expires tomorrow (hey, at least they had the good sense to discount it, unlike with the spicy pig ears last week...), Shin Ramyun BLACK noodles, Vedan spicy mushroom noodles, on-sale Ben & Jerry's ice cream x6 (Cherry Garcia / Chocolate Fudge Brownie / Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough / Chocolate Therapy / If I Had 1,000,000 Flavors / Half-Baked), CLR for the kitchen (beats going to the bathroom for it every single time...), and JOY dumplings x4.

Shiv let me know on Discord that he got my Christmas card and postcards, and he even said that the postcards were lovely. So much better than a certain other person (Jimmy), although I don't expect much out of him nowadays.

Since redrum seems to be taking forever to get out of here, I called Dr. Ruby at 10:30 to schedule an appointment. I didn't mind if it was tomorrow, so I picked tomorrow afternoon at 3! Then Lena told me later over Facebook messages that her Lindt gingerbread chocolates and bonus Hanukkah card had made it to Colorado, so YAY for that!


The FINAL FANTASY V ADVANCE party (Bartz / Lenna / Galuf / Faris), Cid Previa, and his grandson Mid Previa have found the airship! Bartz says, "Creeping Crawdads! Some monster's got a death grip on the ship's hull!" That's the Cray Claw, a boss!




After the FINAL FANTASY V ADVANCE party defeats the Cray Claw in the game's tenth boss battle, Cid says, "Ha! Looks like that overgrown monster just got served!"

Sean Slaney from Ferris and Palmer found me on Facebook - probably from Lisa B. - and added me. We also briefly chatted on FB messenger, which is nice. No, I never went to Burnett for regular school, but probably for Chinese School 30 years ago! John Powell asked if I wanted to meet him and Eve after the game - I think I might be able to deal with snow showers, so I guess that would be fine! HOT CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE! Time to stash a scarf and mittens in my bag for the next four or five months!


The FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS party is in Kefka's Tower, where they have to split up to conquer the dungeon together. They need to step on the circled green button to open up the path for other people, as shown. Bonus: They get a Ribbon from that treasure chest!

In FINAL FANTASY VI, you can get an item called the Cursed Shield. The original game allows you to equip it on multiple characters, but the ETERNAL CRYSTALS hack only allows you to equip it on Cyan. Either way, you have to fight 256 battles with it equipped (and have your character SURVIVE!) to lift the curse: "Dispelled curse on shield." Your Cursed Shield is now a Paladin Shield. :D

Vanessa sent me a Facebook message at 5:30 wanting to know what I was doing for dinner tonight. I had nothing planned, but I did wonder whether I had forgotten about something! She wanted to come out to Richmond (either IHOP of Denny's) with her friend Wayne, whom I'd met at her Anton's birthday dinner. Sure, why not? I needed a break, anyway! I took a shower, and they were here at 6:30 or so. We talked about Jason ruining her day by not bringing eggs for her pancakes today, her vanilla milkshake and calcium, my country fried steak / toast / strawberry jam / broccoli / mashed potatoes / sausage gravy, the Richmond World Festival, the military, her pregnancy / potential baby names and gender (not Gertrude / Kathleen), her parents' divorce, Wayne's friend Kevin wanting to marry a full-time Twitch streamer from England, Vanessa's friend cutting off a friendship with a bridezilla named Marilyn who slapped her and berated her in front of a whole crowd of people, our stupid brothers, her parents' divorce, and the changes around Richmond. I definitely needed the break, and got home at 7:50.

I was up at 6 AM, so it was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT!

I dreamed that I somehow flushed the toilet dry, which resulted in a flooded bathroom (?!) right before I had to leave to meet my family somewhere in Bellingham. Not that meeting them would have happened anyway, although I watched a show on separating conjoined triplets to de-stress later! "Where's Daddy?" "He's before God." No! Tell your kids that Daddy is driving a tour bus into the States for a music convention, which is the truth!

I also forgot to pack my passport and was turned away at the beauty kiosk with bus stops right before the border. I also had to walk a bit before finding just the right shortcut to go into Richmond and home. Then I emailed / messaged her sister to let her know, but my mom would still be PISSED. Thank goodness it was just a dream!

Today is Left-Handers Day! I had to deal with a lot of online drama this morning, which involved some rude and condescending Penguins fan named Jennifer who thought that she had an IQ of 169, and that my "attitude problem" could be solved by talking to her. I don't THINK so! Thank goodness Helen Y. understood, while Jimmy could definitely relate, and Tommy was okay with people leaving that Metropolis Division group chat on Facebook. Hopefully, Jimmy and I can forge more of a friendship! I think it's a good sign that he says he trusts me (gotta make sure that stays) and wants me to speak my mind / anything to him. It was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT at 7:30 AM this morning. After finding mouse droppings in the kitchen and looking things up online, I went to London Drugs at 10:20 on a 407. Unfortunately, there was an older lady at the bus stop who thought that I wanted to be the recipient of endless talking about when the next bus would get there. I gave her the eminently unhelpful answer of "no" when asked for the time, and an equally unhelpful answer of "five minutes ago" when asked if and when I left my house, hahaha. I also don't flip off drivers THAT often, but WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE INTO A PEDESTRIAN'S PATH WHEN THEY'RE TRYING TO CROSS AT AN UNMARKED CROSSWALK?! Once I finally got to the store, I got index cards / two on-sale jugs of bleach / some zebra duct tape. Then I got home at 10:55 on a 401 and started cleaning / disinfecting / putting duct tape and steel wool in the kitchen.

I had to take out ANOTHER dead mouse on a glue trap last night at 10 PM - UGH! Yes, I definitely had to have some whiskey after that!

It's Air Conditioning Day and WORLD OYSTER DAY today, so of course I definitely had to have my two pounds of Fanny Bay raw oysters! :D


The FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS party comes to the last room of Umaro's Cave with the Magitek Armor and this soldier. He turns out to be Biggs from the beginning of the game, and tells them: "I've failed as a soldier..." Time to teleport out of the dungeon, and bring Emperor Zemus with us instead!




Emperor Zemus comes with the FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS party inside Umaro's Cave, and orders Biggs to join them because he was the emperor. This time, Soldier Biggs says: "Lieutenant Biggs... Reporting, sir! Yes, sir... I'll join you!"

Since I woke up at 7:30 AM, it was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT! Hester's husband Ni and a suite inspector guy came by later at 10:35 for the annual suite inspection. I got the suite inspector guy (who said that the sink was losing its shine - DUH?!) to help me remove that dead mouse on the glue trap behind the couch. No, he was not allowed to put it in the kitchen garbage can! I had readied a London Drugs plastic bag (and rubber gloves if needed) for that purpose earlier! Ni said again that the pest control would come by next month, so I called him on that. Apparently, he'd forgotten that it was now August. Still, I shouldn't have to live with that for weeks! I went out to throw the London Drugs plastic bag in the dumpster outside, then liberally applied white vinegar to that area of the carpet. I don't care what the management thinks about a temporary wet floor!

I went out at 2:45 and got two cans of NEW Comfort Creek Foods chicken and dumplings from the Dollar Tree. Then I got another pack of Samyang 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Ramen Flavor noodles from Big Crazy. Since they had a 10-cent surcharge on debit purchases, I got some Want Want snowy crackers. (which are plain and bland, so I'll give them to Chrystal) Apparently, I forgot my purple wallet there! Good thing that a lady came up behind me in the parking lot and let me know... that saved me some time and energy! Then I went to London Drugs to get a NEW Vileda cotton and microfibre mop and a NEW Vileda Quick Wring bucket - the wringer is connected to the bucket!

That's much easier than trying to get the wringer to stay on the grey bucket from people, so I threw out the old mop and bucket (along with the slightly wet toilet paper packs from yesterday) when I got home at 4. Later, I went to London Drugs again at 5:55 to get the rest of my bulky purchases: Cottonelle toilet paper x2 and on-sale SpongeTowels Ultra-Strong paper towels! I added two on-sale MAMA spicy shrimp noodles and on-sale NEW Bar Harbor fish chowder cans x2 to that as long as I was using my Royal Bank debit card. I got home at 6:35 on a 407, and I'd better not have any more emergencies in the next ten days!

I showered and did laundry today, a day earlier than I might have! However, I had to wipe a very watery bathroom floor with a mop and multiple (paper) towels, then had to do TWO loads of laundry on the THIRD floor, where one of the dryers was out of order! What stressful stramash! AIYA! I finally finished all the laundry just now at 7:30!

Since I was up at 8 AM today, it was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT! I went out at 10:25 on a 407 and was finally able to make it to the Dollar Tree and Big Crazy today on a 403 from Brighouse before it got TOO hot outside! I got a can of Success mushroom pieces, Knorr mashed potatoes in chicken gravy, and Knorr mashed potatoes in beef gravy. (I had to check if I could microwave them first, of course!) I'm thankful to have the option again to purchase frozen food again: pork and tri-treasure x2 / lamb and onion / pork and chives JOY DUMPLINGS from Big Crazy! Inspired by CuyaDK, I also got some Samyang 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen x4 at Big Crazy, plus Knorr hot and sour soup mix x3 since I was there anyway. I got home at 11:35 on a 407 from London Drugs, which is good. I think I'll wait on ice cream, since I don't care much for the prices or sizes for Häagen-Dazs at London Drugs right now. Of course, I might also change my mind on that, haha.
