Reminded Eric about tomorrow's plans... 8:45 AM tomorrow because of PowerPoint?! AIYA! I went out at 12:50 on a 401 with my wheeled shopping cart to London Drugs and bought Heinz pure white vinegar x4 from the beverages aisle, Joyya 2% milk (1L, needs the jar opener), NEW Tiger Tiger Japanese-style Sukiyaki noodle soup for tomorrow's breakfast, Starbucks Cold Brew x2, London Naturals orange cleaner, and on-sale peppermint Twinings Tea before getting home at 1:40 on a 407. The Canucks played San Jose tonight at 7, and won 4-1... I also showered after the game since I might not have time tomorrow. Harmony says Jon is preaching - oh boy!

I left at 11:20 on a 407 to go to London Drugs to get new scissors. I couldn't find Scotch scissors or Ekco kitchen scissors, so I got Kortari kitchen scissors instead while getting some NEW Tazo Chai Tea for National Chai Day today on September 21. Got home at 12:05 on a 407, and texted white Eric for a ride tonight. Things worked out even if Darryl now can't come since he'll be all tapped out by tonight with MAGIC: THE GATHERING and other things going on today. I understand even if he did acknowledge that he's being a flake! Definitely shower time now!

I discovered redrum today - UGH! I still decided to go out to Champs since I was looking for cargo shorts, thanks to Hidden One in RedWeird's Discord server. The Champs Sports website I was looking for was American, but as soon as I heard that it was still Buy 1 Get 1 at Richmond Centre, I had to go! Haha. I left at 3, but a full 401 passed us up at 3:10. Luckily, there was a half-empty 401 a minute behind, just as I was texting Paulo to complain! If he wants to come over tomorrow afternoon and pick up that Danby Designers microwave, Knorr hot and sour soup mix, Nissin sesame oil noodles to go with it, Koka Tomato noodles, Koka spicy black pepper noodles, Samyang Jjajang spicy Korean bean sauce noodles (chicken bomb terrorist noodles!), Maggi Letup Curry Kari Cili Api noodles, Penang white Curry Mee noodles, and Paldo spicy cheese Ramyun noodles, he can go ahead!

Cargo shorts are a nice idea in theory, but the button closures are annoying and a dealbreaker for me. So athletic shorts it is... red black Peak shorts and navy blue coach shorts! Even Atmosphere / SportsChek a few steps down didn't have any cargo shorts without button and zipper closures, not that I was expecting them to! I didn't want to waste my time and energy!

Then I got four on-sale Stouffer's FitBowls with Shoppers Optimum points, working out to $1 each! Chicken and Roasted Cashews, Beef and Broccoli, Teriyaki Chicken, and Prime Rib Steak! Got home at 6:10 on a 401, which is fine. A wheelchair and walker took up ALL the disabled seats on one side, and the walker had to get off at Alderbridge. It was fine, though. I had to eat a frozen meal right away because I had no space in the freezer for anything else.

My parents are on a cruise and didn't let me know, so I wasted my time calling them to get their voicemail multiple times yesterday! Then Dad emailed me to say that they could call me from the shore at 8:30, but then emailed me again at 8 to say that they were still on the ship. Since I don't want to deal with stressful and inconvenient phone calls in the morning when I'm trying to shower and get out the door, I just PMed Brian about it instead since Paulo said he could be good for this sort of thing. To be fair, we had discussed it yesterday just in case. Thank goodness for friends since he agreed to do this for me! He doesn't even have to stay for the entire four hours! I also got to text Pothead Mike for the first time, so YAY! (and talked to Jon via FB Messenger for a bit about the surgery and other things)

Lucas, Kumatora, Duster, and Boney go to Old Man's Paradise in Chapter 7 of MOTHER 3 after defeating the Steel Mechorilla on top of Snowcap Mountain. They read the newspaper, and this is a new palindrome to me! "Today's headline: EVIL OLIVE!"

Barry called me at 12:30 to say that he'd found someone named Tryanna who could take me food shopping on the 20th. He says he'll be back in early October, unless war breaks out in Japan. I thought Trump was after North Korea, but WHO KNOWS. Then I called Chrystal at 1:15 to let her know what was up, of course. She appreciated it - of course I'll call her later to confirm!

I decided to call my worker Barry at 10:50 to finally let him know about last week's events: Hester actually believing me with proof about the freezer not working. I swear, the ice cream was pretty bleh! Then the apartment building manager Hester, her husband Ni, and the maintenance repair guy came around at 1:30 to check out my fridge and freezer. The official diagnosis is that I need a new fridge and freezer combo because my current one is from the 1980s, and the maintenance guy isn't going to repair THAT! Thank goodness that Hester heard that straight from the repair guy's mouth, as she will now let her office know about things, so I'll see what happens with this. She also told me not to buy anything that needed to be frozen until after I heard what her office had to say and got a new fridge and freezer: DUH?!

In SUPER MARIO FANTASY ADVENTURE, Mario / Luigi / Yoshi / Toad go into the Earth Cavern to defeat Wario and get the Ruby. "There is a stone plate on the floor... You sense something... Evil? ..."

Ruby: A large red stone.

Later, the SUPER MARIO FANTASY ADVENTURE party goes into the Giant's Cave to give the Ruby to this stone monster. "If you want pass, give me the RUBY... Crunch, crunch, crunch... Mmm, it tastes so sweet. Rubies are my favorite."

Rod: The ROD to remove the plate from the earth. (the SUPER MARIO FANTASY ADVENTURE party got this from the Sage's Cave)

The SUPER MARIO FANTASY ADVENTURE party gets the Oxyale from the formerly-Bottled Faerie once they let her go when they reach the town of Gaia. "The OXYALE furnishes fresh air." This lets the party breathe underwater in the Sunken Shrine dungeon in Onrac.

Since I was up at 5:45 AM (ugh), it was COFFEE TIME! After a nap and such later, I went out at 4:30 (just missing the 401 and just managing to get the C94 instead) to go to the Apple Store at Richmond Centre to hopefully finish my WORMS tagging on Facebook since it just gave me a spinny loading icon no matter what I tried at home. The same thing happened over there! At least I stumbled upon a 99-cent sale for both White Cheddar and Broccoli Sidekicks (I bought four) and President's Choice Blue Menu Six Bean Medley cans (I bought five) ... so since the beans sale ends on June 2, I'll get some more on Thursday! It saves me 70 cents a can from the London Drugs price for a can of beans right now! Then I waited FOREVER for a 407 at Brighouse, getting home at 5:55!

Spinny loading icon on the WORMS page:

President's Choice Blue Menu Six Bean Medley: chickpeas, dark red kidney beans, black-eyed peas, white kidney beans, Romano beans, and baby lima beans!

Mom and Dad FINALLY picked me up nearer to noon, and gave me some cooked chicken / cooked turkey / peanut Glossettes / Chinese egg cake snacks / a mooncake / organic carrots / Skyflakes crackers. Luckily, I could put everything in the freezer or fridge or on the table before I left yet again. Met up with Steph and Lisa at Dogwood, where we have to think of Grandma as a baby now. We helped her drink juice / milk / soup, wipe her mouth, and engage her in this world before she fell asleep in the middle of eating! (just like a real baby would) At least she recognized us even if she won't talk much (side effect of the tumor?), and remembers Uncle Michael. Grandma asked us several times whether we wanted to eat or were hungry - nope! I was evil, and enabled Lisa's love of chocolate by giving her the Halloween-themed Ziploc bag of Coffin Crisp / Ghostly Kit Kat / ScAeros / Scaries; Steph said I was bad, hahaha.

We went to the Copa Café for lunch, where Mom found out that the "free milk tea" coupons she got last time were only for dinner; I'll throw mine out, although I really wasn't planning on using them anyhow. Not sure whether Chinese Eric has used his; tried calling him the other day with no answer other than the fax machine screech, but that's perfectly fine! We'll get together one of these days. (and I need that...) Talked about Havarti's size / puppy school, Thanksgiving dinner of duck and turkey being delayed one week because of Alberta, Portland / Seattle, Mom's gay friends Tom and Tom (Steph also thought they were from San Francisco - they're apparently from Minnesota!), the George Massey tunnel / Port Mann bridge, care aspects like tearaway clothing, Christon and Jeremy's birthday dinner next weekend (THANKSGIVING is why they're not having it on Sunday?!), Jon's annual birthday dinner extravaganza, how Lisa isn't supposed to have gum (but took a piece anyway), dinner invites, and more. Bugged Steph with sitting in the middle, leg slaps, "lawyer" talk, and general NG stuff. Got home at 2:15 to hopefully relax a bit before tonight. Also formulated a reply to Deb's email which wouldn't be full of inappropriate words for that religious woman, hahahaha.
