I went out with a Miniso face mask at 12:30 on a 407. Went to Lansdowne T and T with my Asian old lady shopping cart to see if I could get a box of 50 face masks for $31. After lining up for 20 minutes because the line snaked around the market area of Lansdowne Mall, I FINALLY got inside with a temperature scanner check (which was fine) and managed to get a box from Customer Service. Since I was there anyway, I checked out the noodle aisle. I got Samyang Buldak Topokki noodles x2 and NEW Samyang Buldak Corn noodles x2 / Samyang Buldak Kimchi chicken terrorist noodles x2. My cart was already plenty full and bulky by the time I left at 1, but I decided to walk to Price Smart anyway, where the lineup moves MUCH FASTER! I got Fanny Bay oysters (May 5), Snack Pack vanilla pudding (May 22), plus NEW Snack Pack DRAGON TREASURE and UNICORN MAGIC puddings. Decided to get a NEW on-sale Aero Gold chocolate bar, a NEW on-sale Kit-Kat Gold chocolate bar, NEW Crave microwaveable meals (Bacon and Egg Scramble with Cheddar Cheese, and Chorizo Egg Scramble with Goat Cheese), and NEW limited-edition Tiramisu Oreos.

After that, I went home at 2:45 on a 407 to rest for a bit before going to London Drugs at 6:30. Planters BBQ peanuts (May 16), Pure Standards Products hydrogen peroxide, Arm and Hammer baking soda, on-sale organic Classico tomato garlic pasta sauce for the same $4 price as regular (sale ends May 27), a small Reese's Pieces (May 18), NEW Orange Vanilla Coke (May 8), NEW LaRose hand sanitizer for the same $4 price as regular, Tao Kae Noi wasabi seaweed snacks, Fudge Swirl Lindt truffles for tomorrow (May 2), and Aroy-D green curry for my Uncle Ben's jasmine rice. Got home at 7:25, which is fine by me.

48 Z-Grip Pens (December 18, 2019) from Staples while I was out anyway / a backup K120 USB keyboard, a backup Certified Data Deluxe Optical mouse, 2000 Flushes with Chlorine, Paul Newman's Alfredo sauce for next year, London Naturals unscented dish soap, Vim bathroom cleaner from London Drugs / half-price JOY dumplings x4 (Pork and Tri-Treasure, Lamb and Onion, Pork and Vegetable, Pork and Chives), Earth's Own almond milk, another Hungry-Man Queso XL bowl, and $9 Saniderm hand sanitizer x4 (the limit) from Price Smart equals another productive shopping trip! I should have gone to the pharmacy next door YESTERDAY since it looks like they're closed for ALL the Easter long weekend! Some dude wondered if the entire building was closed - looked like it to him when he peered in. Oh well... I left at 1 on a 401, and returned at 2:50 on a 407.

The computer gave me a heart attack at 4:55 when both the keyboard and mouse froze, and the power button wouldn't work until 20 minutes later at 5:20! Andrew says it might not be the power supply, but he has to come by and see first, of course. White Eric said it didn't sound good... yes, I knew that too! He offered to do some tests with Remote Team Viewer on the weekend, so that's fine in the name of social distancing. At least BEFORE all this happened, I talked briefly with Corey on LINE at 12:10 to wish him a happy birthday!

It's National Punctuation Day today... MY FAVORITE! After COFFEE TIME, I had to leave at 2 on a 401 and then a 410 (which I just got to on time, no thanks to idiots blocking my path on the sidewalk) for my appointment with Dr. Ruby before I helped with the kids. That was uncomfortable - I also saw a professional Audrey. Also, I had to buy more NEW Beehive Burst Peppermint lip balm at the Dollar Tree since there was no photo online that I could find, so I had to take my own photo. (I had ripped mine open last week before I figured this out...) I was there on time, but STILL had to wait 20 minutes to be seen! UGH! I should have gone to Dollar Tree before rather than after! Then I tried to speedwalk over to Lansdowne station a block and a half away, and just missed a Waterfront train thanks to these two slow ladies on the elevator going down.

When I got to Marine Drive station, I definitely needed a snack, so I went to Tim Horton's. Luckily, there was no lineup, so I got a non-sticky cheese tea biscuit and then got out of there to find that a wheelchair wanted to get on the 3 as well. Then a stroller wanted to get on - at least this one contained a fairly curious kid who growled and made various noises, unlike the other stroller who got on after that one left! After another delay caused by the driver stopping in the middle of the road for five minutes to check an alarm that was going off, I finally got to Mount Pleasant at about 4:20 when I could have been there at 4:05! Too many delays! Yeah, I used Term to complain to via text, haha.

Inside, Penny was just finishing up speech therapy while Beckett was failing at napping again. Almost right after Penny left, it was off to the park across the street because Harmony wanted to walk Beckett around the playground to see if he'd nap then. Spoiler alert: He did not. Ayler asked if I wanted to play tag or Manhunt - no, because I had run out of energy and was like a car which had run out of gas. Hiero asked why I walked how I did, so maybe Jon and Harmony should talk to him about it at some point. Once we got home again after more promises of consequences, I got to play with Beckett for a bit. He liked the baby pop-up toy because it made him laugh more than usual, wanted me to shake my head a lot because it was funny, liked PEEK-A-BOO as per Hiero, tried eating my DRAGON HOODIE strings again, and climbed on me a few times. (he did pull Hiero's hair, though!)

At the same time, Hiero was trying to show me his origami. Blowing up squares to make huge boxes, oh my! Later, I stayed close as Beckett crawled on the couch despite Ayler telling me not to let him do it. Well, you're doing and completing a HUGE connect-the-dots puzzle, so I'll do what I want while keeping Beckett safe in my own way, including trying to put on one of his missing socks. We had salmon, congee, Chinese chicken soup, meatballs with ketchup and barbecue sauce, some veggies, and ridiculous amounts of shredded pork. Then we talked about whether Jon had been shot today at the Downtown Eastside (he was fine and didn't have to lie on the floor as per Hiero's question), why people shoot at each other ("because some people think that the best way to resolve their problems is with guns" and "that's why we don't joke about guns"), my Cactus Club birthday dinner, Ayler seeing Brooke early this morning ("how do you know?"), Hiero doing flips and gymnastics in the elevator earlier and being injured, and how much everyone in the family could eat compared to each other.

After I washed dishes for a bit, I read to Hiero about Optimus Prime and the Decepticons, then listened to Ayler play a boogie on the piano before listening to him read a Level 2 story about polar bears. Sure I had to help him with some words, but that's normal. I left at 7:20, but couldn't get a 3 bus till 7:40 thanks to a couple of buses being out of service! I missed a Brighouse train by five minutes, and JUST managed to get a 407 at Brighouse, no thanks to people blocking my path where I was going to run to the front door of the bus. Do I really have to shove my way past other people all the time to get where I'm going in a timely fashion?! I got home at 8:35, checked my mail, and found Julie's birthday card plus random stuff - yay!

Random stuff: Nathan returning the OUTLANDER novel to me, six packs of Compliments Safeway brand spicy chicken instant noodles, and yet another pair of reading glasses. Good thing I didn't buy the Jergens lotion today because of all the walking I had to do, AND the utter weight of the 650-page paperback book!

After my intake session with Rishu at Touchstone at 3 (leaving at 2:20 on a 401), I went shopping at the Dollar Tree / London Drugs / Big Crazy after killing time at the Richmond Public Market beforehand. I got Hunt's Snack Packs pudding cups x5 (vanilla / ice cream sandwich / butterscotch / lemon meringue pie / chocolate) at the Dollar Tree, Samyang Fire Noodles x2 (Carbo Cheese and Spicy Cheese - one each for Paulo) / Knorr hot and sour soup mix x5 at Big Crazy, plus butterfly and flower stickers for Nephew #3, Dove Nourishing Rituals shampoo and conditioner (Avocado Calendula and Coconut Lime), and PURELL hand sanitizer x2 at London Drugs. I finally got home at 5:55 on a 407, and had noticed several old ladies with SECURED shopping carts, so futzed around a little until I found the Velcro closure on mine at the end. SUCCESS! There was an unexpected water shutoff today! Of course Amacon posted a notice at the front door to let people know... come on! Not everyone leaves their apartment once a day! UGH! I briefly called Chrystal at work at 4 to wish her a happy belated birthday since she'd been off last week. She thanked me and said she appreciated it. The water was FINALLY back on at 5:45, NOT 1 PM as stated in the notice! Geez.

Yesterday, Holly invited me to Steveston Pizza at her place tonight. Nobody was going to have the $850 pizza! ("SEENAY: Medley of tiger prawns, lobster ratatouille, smoked steelhead, Russian Osetra caviar, snowed with Italian white truffles $850") After I showered and had COFFEE TIME, Brian kindly picked me up at the hospital at 7:10 even though the pizza place was way closer to his apartment. We chatted about the expensive pizza (a MOUND of seafood on the order before his?!) and the NHL Draft Pick Lottery Day before getting to Holly's, where I unsuccessfully completed a call to her. She wanted to throw her keys down to us again, but actually answered the door instead once she realized Brian had five pizza boxes.

I said hey to Darryl and Paulo, informing Paulo that the temporary crosswalk was now closed off. He put his head in his hands and said, "I hate it..." Trust me, I understand ANY ranting he has to do on the issue! We all talked about life, Vegas, walking a lot on the LONG Strip blocks, online people, chatrooms, drunkenness, dodgy stuff, seeing family members, work schedules, Holly's new job starting tomorrow, dead people, being a travel agent, working with the general public, and upcoming plans. As usual, I have none. I did almost forget my jacket, oops. Darryl called me by name when we said bye to him outside, which shouldn't really be a surprise. Brian dropped me and Paulo off at about 9:40, which is pretty good. I actually have time to blog without being rushed off to do other things!

I found my charger on the drawer knob yesterday morning, then somehow slept with both that AND the plug in the bed last night... oops! Deb asked if I wanted to hang around their house today while everyone was at school and work, or if I wanted to go home for the day. I said I'd go home, thinking of using the computer instead of mobile to be FASTER! So after a breakfast of a Nutella sandwich and milk, and almost tripping over Declan on the stairs, she and Declan drove me back here. Good thing, too - I definitely had to poop at some point! I also had coffee here to save time... but I'd have pooped at the townhouse if I'd HAD to! Wait - Deb even packed me a lunch of last night's leftovers of lamb steak, ribs, and gai lan?! SO NICE!

Yesterday, I got banned from a names Facebook group because I "misgendeered" the newest admin. Not my fault that her name is ASH and she has a female in her display picture; if she wants random people to think that she's a male, that is very misleading! Then I got into it with Natalie (chibi_blackie / missblack / andinclosing), who thinks she "won" by "dragging" / roasting me. Nope! I deleted her comments because she was being condescending and talking down to me. It's almost like she doesn't realize that we're from different generations! I had to block her once she made a proud status about how I was deleting her comments because they made me look bad. Very funny, ha ha ha. At least I don't use slang that's not from my generation, and Lena / Mike T. / Vanessa / Julie supported me!

Vanessa sent me a Facebook message at 5:30 wanting to know what I was doing for dinner tonight. I had nothing planned, but I did wonder whether I had forgotten about something! She wanted to come out to Richmond (either IHOP of Denny's) with her friend Wayne, whom I'd met at her Anton's birthday dinner. Sure, why not? I needed a break, anyway! I took a shower, and they were here at 6:30 or so. We talked about Jason ruining her day by not bringing eggs for her pancakes today, her vanilla milkshake and calcium, my country fried steak / toast / strawberry jam / broccoli / mashed potatoes / sausage gravy, the Richmond World Festival, the military, her pregnancy / potential baby names and gender (not Gertrude / Kathleen), her parents' divorce, Wayne's friend Kevin wanting to marry a full-time Twitch streamer from England, Vanessa's friend cutting off a friendship with a bridezilla named Marilyn who slapped her and berated her in front of a whole crowd of people, our stupid brothers, her parents' divorce, and the changes around Richmond. I definitely needed the break, and got home at 7:50.

I went out at 2:15 and wasted time at Richmond Centre trying to find a NEW Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. Then I just missed a 410 bus to Big Crazy; when I got there, I bought Knorr hot and sour soup mix x5 / JOY dumplings x 4 (lamb and onion, pork and vegetable, pork and tri-treasure, pork and chive) / NEW Burning Dry Noodles in chili oil flavor / a family-size 400g bag of Nongshim shrimp crackers / NEW Chongqing Hot and Sour noodles in a cup. After that, I just missed a 410 bus for London Drugs, where I eventually bought NEW Häagen-Dazs Spirits ice cream x4 (Rum Ginger Cookie / Irish Cream Coffee Biscotti / Whiskey Chocolate Truffle / Rum Vanilla Caramel Blondie) and a new red Gibson owl coffee mug without a sticker on the bottom or inner bumps. I got home at 3:55, no thanks to having to wait for a 407.
