I had to spend MORE time out and MORE MONEY today at Richmond Centre because of ANOTHER temporary water shutoff. *rolleyes* Good thing I had plenty of cash! I bought a White Spot breakfast quesadilla with chorizo sausage, a White Spot blueberry milkshake that slightly tasted like cough syrup (what are they doing with those machines overnight?!), NEW on-sale OGX Beauty tea tree / mint shampoo and conditioner, on-sale Dove pomegranate shampoo and conditioner from $8.99 to $2.99, NEW Life iron pill supplements, NEW Jamieson Vitamins garlic softgels, and NEW Irish Spring charcoal body wash. Shoppers and London Drugs both worked! Got home at 5:40 on a 407 (was NOT going to call Hester because of the one-word and hangup I received LAST YEAR), and the water was back on, so I could take a shower for tomorrow!

After COFFEE TIME, Barry picked me up at 8:30 AM so we could go to the UBC Eye Care Centre on Willow at 9:15 AM for an eye measurement scan because of my dense cataract. RED LIGHTS IN FRONT OF MY EYES! SMELLING SKIN! The technician asked where my parents were and why they weren't with me... I CAN TAKE CARE OF THINGS MYSELF, AND MY RIDE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!

Barry and I talked about the rush-hour traffic, the Royal Bank kiosk machine that I noticed yesterday inside Shoppers, changing the payday shopping appointment plans to THURSDAY instead of Wednesday at 9:30 AM (gets me out of going to Dinesty with the parents!), his ongoing Wednesday appointments at 11, the RDSP stuff, and music. I got home at 10:10, and he helped me move the bedframe support back inside from where the cleaners left it outside where I'd bump into it. OUCH! I still can't close my bedroom door fully, though.

While I remembered, I emailed Eric about the construction zone and consequent road closures as a reminder for Sunday's ride to Jeremy's. He replied to say that he has a cold, so might not be okay for Sunday - UGH! The Canucks played the Wild at 5 today, and lost 6-2! I also discovered that SOMEONE put my Not Always Right / Not Always Right / Not Always Working / Not Always Romantic / Not Always Related / Not Always Learning / Not Always Friendly / Not Always Hopeless / Not Always Legal / Not Always Healthy / Unfiltered / Popular Disqus account on a commenting timeout! WHAT THE FUCK?! NOT ALWAYS FUN! Too bad - I've been on there since September 2008, thanks to my ex-friends David K. and Candace! MORE THAN A DECADE!

Vanessa sent me a Facebook message at 5:30 wanting to know what I was doing for dinner tonight. I had nothing planned, but I did wonder whether I had forgotten about something! She wanted to come out to Richmond (either IHOP of Denny's) with her friend Wayne, whom I'd met at her Anton's birthday dinner. Sure, why not? I needed a break, anyway! I took a shower, and they were here at 6:30 or so. We talked about Jason ruining her day by not bringing eggs for her pancakes today, her vanilla milkshake and calcium, my country fried steak / toast / strawberry jam / broccoli / mashed potatoes / sausage gravy, the Richmond World Festival, the military, her pregnancy / potential baby names and gender (not Gertrude / Kathleen), her parents' divorce, Wayne's friend Kevin wanting to marry a full-time Twitch streamer from England, Vanessa's friend cutting off a friendship with a bridezilla named Marilyn who slapped her and berated her in front of a whole crowd of people, our stupid brothers, her parents' divorce, and the changes around Richmond. I definitely needed the break, and got home at 7:50.
