FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF Bestiary!

THIS ENTRY IS ALLOWED TO HAVE NON-ALIGNED TAGS.

This is the complete bestiary for FINAL FANTASY 5 SPOOF, and all screenshots are from my own playthrough. I'd like to say that this GameFAQs bestiary document helped me a lot; thank you! (as did this one, for more precise directions in certain places) Also, this walkthrough helped me a lot, too! Actually, I was tired of suffering through emulator slowness and game glitches x8, so input a code for a 100% complete Bestiary. These maps will help, since the world map DOESN'T FUCKING WORK IN THIS GAME!

This is a good RPG Classics page for Pro Action Replay codes!

CHECK THE MAP WITH THE Y BUTTON, NOT THE R BUTTON!

Fire-Powered Ship puzzle directions.

Notes to self: Activate the All Characters Have All Abilities code, and then TAKE IT OFF, or else the game will get incredibly frustratingly SLOW. Also, take all codes off before going to the Big Bridge, or attempting to find the Phantom Village! VISHNU VEST EQUIPMENT! Speaking of equipment, EQUIP KRILE WHEN SHE JOINS THE PARTY AFTER GALUF'S DEATH! As far as codes go, the "have 99 of all items" code makes the game freeze and have sound issues!

After much frustration over three hours, I managed to defeat Omega by using the power of Mirage Vests (IMAGE STATUS) / Coral Rings (fire protection), and a pre-emptive strike! I used it to power up my blades with Thundaga Spellblade, then used Rapid-Fire on Faris... I think it was a fluke!

Also, to reset the breath timer in the sunken tower of Walse, climb up the fourth floor vine to get to that chest! I finally actually defeated Famed Mimic Gogo at the bottom of the sunken Tower of Walse by using the Dragoon / Dual-Wield x4 strategy! It was pretty tricky since I wasn't sure that all my characters would survive at least five Meteor attacks, but two of them did! Got garbled text as part of the bugged fight, too... "Dragged into another dimension! Odin: All right, that's far enough! Turning to stone... Can't escape! Countdown to Pestilence... 4 KO'd! Countdown to Eruption... 5 KO'd! Level halved! KO'd!":D

To get the Drakenvale Golem in the Bestiary, defeat the dragons first and THEN defend until he thanks you!

Stick "READ AHEAD" on a character other than Lenna! To prevent having to input all the codes over and over again, SAVE / remove all codes / then close and reopen the emulator! They should all still be there!

For the Moogle in the Forest of Moore to move after the trees have been set on fire by Tzepish, save the game in the cave and then reset. The creature should NOT be blocking the entrance.

Airship in World 3: It's just above Surgate Castle, east of the Pyramid.

DO NOT SET ANY "No Random Encounters" CODE! IT WILL GLITCH OUT THE GAME! (submarine / world map won't work, and there WILL be no random encounters)

TRY DEFEATING NEO SHINRYU FIRST BEFORE OMEGA MK. II - or else you can't get out of the room for some reason! (the exit door SHOULD be open, but is shut tight instead!)

I felt weird before I went to bed last night, so I went to the bathroom and discovered redrum: WHAT THE FUCK, BODY?! Good thing I discovered it BEFORE going to bed, otherwise I'd have had to break out the hydrogen peroxide! I told Classy, the r/hockey Discord server, and Jimmy about it too, poor people! Haha! I also was invited to baby Henry's 100-Day(ish) celebration next month when they'll be in town, so that's a good thing. I can also laugh normally now without it being drowned out by sudden coughing; also a good thing!

On the FINAL FANTASY VI boat ride to Thamasa overnight, Terra has a conversation with General Leo Christophe about love and emotions. Shadow appears, saying that he thought he'd sleep out under the stars. Terra asks him whether he heard the preceding conversation, but Shadow can't help her with those answers. "In this world are many like me who've killed their emotions. Don't forget that."

I called Chrystal at work at 12:30 - to my surprise, she was on reception duty! We made plans for her to treat me to a belated birthday dinner on Friday the 13th; we'll meet at 7-ish at the London Drugs near Broadway Station. Sounds good to me!

"You Are Not Charismatic"

You are not a born performer, and there's a good chance that you are more reserved than most people.
What you lack in charisma, you more than make up for in humility and honesty. You are content with who you are.

You are not big on seeking the spotlight. You usually prefer spending time alone to shining in a crowd.
The kind of socialization you crave tends to be one on one, deep, and authentic. You see beneath the surface.

A bunch of funny FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF Ability descriptions!

Brawl: Break stools and beer bottles over people's heads. Brawler Level 2 Ability.

Absorb: Steal HP and MP instead of TVs and bicycles. Dragoon Level 2 Ability.

Equip Lances: You can equip lances... and Lance-A-Lot. Dragoon Level 3 Ability.

Chrystal called me from work and then emailed me to say that she couldn't make it to the MEGA SUSHI dinner tomorrow, but still wants to take me out to a birthday meal sometime. I'll for sure let her know what works for me - maybe on Monday or Tuesday. Good thing I didn't call MEGA SUSHI when Laurie said she could come!

"Your Wine is Cabernet"

You are a resilient and successful person. You have a lot of willpower, and you are more resistant to stress than most people.
You truly appreciate the finer things in life. You are always on a hunt for the best; second place is a disappointment.

You have a strong sense of self, but it's not off-putting. You are well-mannered and can engage anyone.
You could have been very successful taking the traditional route in life, but instead, you've chosen to forge your own path.

I went out to Richmond Centre at 11:30 to see if I could get relatively inexpensive new sneakers from Payless, and I got some CHAMPION Size 6 shoes for $40. I'd rather pay more for a pair that doesn't make me feel like my feet are going to (halfway) slip and fall out of my shoes at any given step! Then I went to Shoppers to get an on-sale T&T beef teriyaki sushi roll for lunch (since it expires tomorrow), and ate that at the food court. After checking my chequing account balance at the bank machine, I got on a 407 at 1:20 and dropped by the pharmacy next door to see if I could get my prescription refill for my birth control before the long weekend, and I did!

After (MORE) COFFEE TIME, I left at 11:40 AM on a 407 to make it to Jon and Harmony's at 12:15 or so. Apparently, nobody was home, but I heard Ayler's voice a couple of minutes later from the car. Jon made a comment about my San Francisco shirt - yeah, it's pretty noticeable, but I don't care. I entertained the kids while Jon went to Anna's Cake House to get various bakery items for lunch before his violin student Justin came over. They wanted me to read a Chinese vocabulary book and a RUN SALMON RUN book. I helped the kids eat lunch, and made Hiero eat some pork bun to get some protein. No, you're not eating a "meal" that is 98% cantaloupe and cherries! Ayler kept asking me what time Harmony would be home if she was in Kerrisdale or UBC since she got off work early; no idea! Harmony did get home later, when Jon was teaching and telling the boys to listen to me. At least I told them that fact about the 35.4-mile tunnel in Sweden, to which Ayler's only question was "how many hours does it take to get there?" Probably a long time! Harmony mentioned that Ayler had physio, so I could keep Hiero occupied with the toys there. Sure, why not? I sat on a chair there and it BROKE! The owner (Laura) came out to see whether I'd fallen, and the receptionist and other people there seemed concerned too. Apparently, it was a hardware fault which should never have been there. Maybe, maybe not!

We talked about roller coasters and "BUS!" (lots of 8 Fraser buses!) on the short walk to Robson Park from the physio clinic. While there, Ayler wanted to take some other little girls' grapes AND toy buckets! We got a bunch of Vietnamese sandwiches for dinner so we could have something besides blackberries. If Hiero had his way, he'd eat 90% blackberries for dinner - NO! Ayler asked how many hours it would be until I left, then wanted me to stay seven more hours at 7 PM. No, because you'd go to bed soon, and I want to definitely be home way before 1:30-2 AM when the trains and buses stop regular service! When Jon was teaching a piano student named Curtis, I helped to keep Hiero occupied with the "tunnels and arches." I actually got home at 8:05 on a 407, which is relatively efficient at least!

"You Are Cherry"

You are a tough cookie, and you don't let anyone cross you. You are very determined and talented.
Sometimes it takes a while for your hard work to pay off, and that can be frustrating. Eventually, you get the success you deserve.

You are an obvious leader. People tend to immediately put you in charge, and sometimes you are too obliging when it comes to helping out.
You are a stickler for the rules and doing things the right way. You run a tight ship, and people respect you for it.

They even gave me free fluoride that my insurance didn't cover, plus an Oral-B toothbrush and Crest Pro-Health Advanced toothpaste! Then I got NEW Uncle Ben's Smokey Red Beans and Rice, on-sale Tostitos chips (low-sodium Rounds / regular Rounds / Gold), on-sale Mrs. Renfro's salsa x2 (Ghost Pepper x2), Crest Complete and Colgate toothpaste in tubes x3 (including Max Fresh x2 in Minty Sparkle with Bright Strips / Electric Mint Shockwave with Micro-Cooling Beads, plus Crest Whitening Outlast with Scope!), a Colgate toothbrush, and Tostitos Salsa Con Queso dip at the Oakridge Safeway. After a brief stop at the Oakridge Apple Store, I went home and got there at 6:10 on a 407. YAY FOR CAVITY DEFENSE TECHNOLOGY! After MORE COFFEE TIME, I went out at 5 (just getting the 401) to see Ayler and Hiero for a while for Ayler's fifth birthday as I'd planned with Harmony yesterday, who said it was sweet of me. I had Hiero's peace sign / ice cream / cupcake / doughnut / SESAME STREET / cats with sunglasses stickers and Ayler's emoji / stars / glow-in-the-dark MARVEL Heroes stickers, dinosaur birthday card, Slinky toy, and pre-historic dinosaur toys. Uncle Joe and Auntie Wing Yee were at the house as advertised, and asked if I was staying for an early and simple dinner of rice / broccoli / meat / water. Sure, why not? Ayler asked "why" questions a lot (like "why did Auntie make that face?" Because I had to sneeze!), and he apparently understands the concept of a square root already if you phrase it correctly! Both Harmony and I do not do math, so he'll have to figure it out some other way! Then he asked, "Why did Grandpa say DIE?" and some other things!

At least both boys seemed to love the Slinky (which is higher than them when stretched out), and took a couple of dinosaur toys to the Jacob's Well concert later on. (which I declined to attend) Hiero wanted me to lift him up from his eating chair after he was done eating a tiny mandarin orange for dinner, so I did that. He gave me a few stickers on my jeans, and Ayler talked a lot about the tunnels and ramps at Marine Drive. Hey, I know those because I went past there on the Skytrain to see everyone! At least I managed to get home at 7:20 on a 407, then talked to Lena on FB chat about special snowflakes and pronouns and edgy disrespect from a "friend"!

I went out at 2:15 and wasted time at Richmond Centre trying to find a NEW Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. Then I just missed a 410 bus to Big Crazy; when I got there, I bought Knorr hot and sour soup mix x5 / JOY dumplings x 4 (lamb and onion, pork and vegetable, pork and tri-treasure, pork and chive) / NEW Burning Dry Noodles in chili oil flavor / a family-size 400g bag of Nongshim shrimp crackers / NEW Chongqing Hot and Sour noodles in a cup. After that, I just missed a 410 bus for London Drugs, where I eventually bought NEW Häagen-Dazs Spirits ice cream x4 (Rum Ginger Cookie / Irish Cream Coffee Biscotti / Whiskey Chocolate Truffle / Rum Vanilla Caramel Blondie) and a new red Gibson owl coffee mug without a sticker on the bottom or inner bumps. I went to Richmond Public Market at 2:15 to see if they had stove pans at that "second-floor haircut shop" which Hester had mentioned. They did, but they also had a no-return policy, which I was not comfortable with. THAT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY! Then I went to the liquor store, where I selected some NEW on-sale 40% Crown Royal Deluxe whiskey ($2 off for 1.14 litres!) which included a tiny 50mL sample of NEW 90% Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye whiskey. I then decided to go to Specialty Chicken and Wonton House so I could try a NEW Buddha's Feast (a New Year's goal) as takeout. My last stop was London Drugs for a spare red face cloth, new Scotch scissors for my table since the old ones were rusty, NEW peanut butter Whittaker chocolate / NEW peppermint Whittaker chocolate for myself, on-sale assorted Lindt Easter eggs x2 (one for Ayler and Hiero / one for me), on-sale $2 Dawn dish detergent (Mediterranean Lavender), on-sale Hershey's Eggies, NEW Carmex lip balm x2, a replacement Gibson owl coffee mug (with a sticker which was easily peeled!) since my sunflower and rooster one kinda cracked, and on-sale store brand 40 garbage bags x2. I got home at 3:45 when it was just starting to rain with random raindrops. By the time I went out two hours later to throw my garbage out, it was really raining - good timing on my part!

I showered and did laundry today. The repairman came by at 1:40 to install a new stove fan switch, and confirmed that the stove pans were too icky to be cleaned normally. I guess I will have to replace them! I saw Hester by the elevator and after being invited into the outdoor storage room (which is indeed full of junk, including London Drugs shopping carts), she gave me one which is too small, then eventually took back a newer bigger one because my stove pan wasn't broken. The newer one was shinier on the inside AND outside, but she said it was rusty and kind of bent. She thanked me for understanding, and gave me a tip when I asked: that she'd bought them at the Richmond Public Market at a haircut shop (?!) on the second floor. Okay then, I guess I'm going there at some point since I don't exactly trust Easy-Off with that stove pan! (but I might buy it just in case) Not going today, though - that was way too much cheery social interaction for me as an introvert!

Managed to import my entire journal to Dreamwidth, so that's where I'll be posting from. I CANNOT DEAL WITH THE NEW LJ UPDATE PAGE! I'll mirror posts, of course.

At 5:30, we were off for the long journey to Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam through Port Moody! It ended up being near to Billie's! We had to pick Jon up at Tom Lee first. Mom missed the sign, so we had to take a scenic detour around Yaohan before meeting Jon. Then we went to Jon and Harmony's, where Steph was holding baby Ayler while Harmony got ready. He grabbed my finger, which I still think is cute! I kinda failed at holding him, but managed to sit him up in my lap so he could see what was going on since he loves that. When it was time to go, I elected to ride in Jon and Harmony's car. The baby was fussy for all but fifteen minutes of the LONG ride to Coquitlam, but they figured that it would be okay as long as he got SOME sleep. Of course, it was pretty loud at the banquet, too. Sat with Peter's family and some other people, which was fine. Saw Aaron at the DJ booth, which was cool. They had a lot of food (CHEESECAKE!), white wine, entertaining games, and COFFEE!

Got home at 11 after an eventful car ride that involved taking 25 minutes to get to Lougheed Highway from Westwood Plateau, filling up the car since the "FILL UP" light came on, and being stopped by the police since Mom was driving with her lights off after the trip to the gas station. In fact, Mom was so stressed when the police car wanted to stop her... she drove right into the sidewalk when stopping in the lane across the street from the apartment complex where I live. Shortly after I got home, Eric M. got on MSN to ask whether I was going to church tomorrow... I was half NOT going to go anyway because I'd had too much religion (I know - religious ceremony) AND because Mom hoped to see me. Then he said that he had meetings afterwards (I could deal with his being there early) if that impacted my decision, which needed to be made SOON as he was going to bed. Okay, then I'm definitely NOT going!
