It's MARIO DAY today! I showered at some point.

From my ex-friend Natalie: Mario Milk! It's a QUIRKY COINCIDENCE since it's MARIO DAY today! MAR. 10! :D

From the Daily Mail: There's a town called North Piddle in rural Worcestershire, England?!

Yesterday, I called Chinese Eric to see if he could give me a ride to Jeremy's or back home. He called me back on his lunch break (at 1:20 BEFORE I left to see Rachel), and he was planning to take transit to work at the Art Gallery and then go straight to Jeremy's. I hoped Kevin could drive me to Broadway Station again since white Eric can't make it because of his hockey commitments! I had to leave really early for Jeremy's place because I had to walk to Brighouse station - thanks, endless sewer upgrades and construction! Luckily, I found an in-service bus stop at Alderbridge, so I killed time at Shoppers, buying Korean BBQ Kettle Chips x3 and some Nair. FUCKING JIMMY! Got to Dude Chilling Park at 6:10, which was slightly early. Kingsgate Mall was closing, too.

I met up with Jeremy (so we could all see his new flooring / baseboards and test some marbles on it), Christon, Kevin, Chinese Eric, and Randal. Christon made some pulled pork, chicken and coleslaw. We had my Indomie Mi Goreng chips / various beers (like the cocoa / vanilla Winter Ale) / salsa / Que Pasa chips, called Eric Ho to see where he was, figured out the long wifi password (which Jeremy didn't think much of at first - but then realized he'd never seen me with a smartphone before), discussed my eye surgeries and Jeremy's nose surgery / Huawei / the Rugby Sevens / Uniqlo / Muji / Daiso / real estate / wedding planning / people with 4400 to 5000 Facebook friends, the Lucky Charms Saturday Morning beer for St. Patrick's Day, and waited for Jon to get there even later. I wanted to go home at 10, but nope - I had to wait for 45 more minutes, despite Chinese Eric wanting to head home right after the game ended at 9:30!

Jeremy loved the blurb for the Lucky Charms beer and laughed at it, at least! Kevin did indeed drive me to Broadway Station, while Jon and Chinese Eric got rides back home from Randal. Yeah, that wasn't too bad. I ended up getting home at around midnight on a 401 (passing up a 407 at Brighouse), and was surprised that I was still somewhat awake, since I'd gone to bed at 9:45 yesterday. I did make myself some hot chocolate to warm up from the cold weather. The Canucks played the Knights at 7 tonight, and lost 6-2. Not good if it was 5-1 at the end of the first... 3-0 after the first twelve minutes!

DUDE CHILLING PARK! No longer Guelph Park!

From CFOX: AC/DC beer! Australian hard rock, brewed in Germany!

I updated my Google Chrome to Version 69 - now it has square tabs?! I also zoomed the default Google Chrome font up from Medium to Large, and zoomed the page zoom on LiveJournal and Wordpress from 110% to 125% since the previous zoom seemed to do nothing on those sites - SO MUCH EASIER TO SEE! NO STRAIN!

I also wasted way too much paper trying to print out the 2018-2019 Canucks schedule in an acceptable format and size (and also folded in half properly), especially with the Chrome update. Note to self: NOTEPAD SETTINGS should be Tahoma, at least size 18, LANDSCAPE printing orientation. DOUBLESPACE everything, too! Also, write R for Road Trips and COFFEE after that for games before 6 in brown Sharpie or brown marker!

I reminded everyone via email about the Felico's Greek food birthday dinner plans. Eric said he would be there. Good thing I asked him about a ride yesterday! Deb replied to say that her niece is also having a birthday celebration on the 23rd, said she was also doing the kidney walk that day, and invited me to Alpha at church. Ha! Maybe, maybe not! I also called Chrystal at work at 11:15 to remind her about the Greek food dinner (she can make it!), then Kevin replied to thank me for the reminder. He has a conflict that night, but may drop by briefly to offer his congratulations in person. Sounds fine either way!

From Ultimoice's Moonside Discord server: Billy Idol is saying, "It's a nice day for a light sweater. It's a nice day for a cardigaaaan!!" So true right now... brr!

Yesterday, I got banned from a names Facebook group because I "misgendeered" the newest admin. Not my fault that her name is ASH and she has a female in her display picture; if she wants random people to think that she's a male, that is very misleading! Then I got into it with Natalie (chibi_blackie / missblack / andinclosing), who thinks she "won" by "dragging" / roasting me. Nope! I deleted her comments because she was being condescending and talking down to me. It's almost like she doesn't realize that we're from different generations! I had to block her once she made a proud status about how I was deleting her comments because they made me look bad. Very funny, ha ha ha. At least I don't use slang that's not from my generation, and Lena / Mike T. / Vanessa / Julie supported me!

Natalie!

From Julie: I know I'm a little bit crazy, and that's all part of my charm. If you don't like it, then get off my unicorn.

glowing_dragon: (Happy Birthday!)
I got up at 8 AM, so it was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT!

HAPPY CANADA DAY! 150 YEARS OLD! YAY FOR THE SESQUICENTENNIAL!

From Aaron: Canada 150!

From Janina and Rebel Circus: The fact that there's a highway to hell and only a stairway to heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic numbers.

From Julie S. and Snapchat: Homemade crap dip?!

It's Victoria Day today! To cap off my long weekend, I watched these two Connecticut guys are trying Canadian junk food from Vancouver! Coffee Crisp, Mars Bars in Maple flavor, Smarties, ketchup Doritos, ketchup Lay's, Maynards Canada wine gums / Swedish Berries, AERO Canada bars, Kraft Dinner, OMG's Candy clusters, All-Dressed Ruffles Canada chips, Hawkins Cheezies, Hickory Sticks, President's Choice white cheddar Kraft Dinner, and Caramilk bars!

From Krista: Black dragon of death!

Peacock dragon!

From Janina: I just met you and this is crazy, but do you like lotion in baskets maybe?

From Julie S. and Wish: A dragon necklace or keychain!

glowing_dragon: (OMFG Yay!)
It was COFFEE TIME this morning at 8 AM since I had maybe six hours of sleep!

In MOTHER 2 DELUXE, Jeff Andonuts makes it to Dr. Andonuts' Lab south of Stonehenge. Look at this glitchy Sky Walker! You should see it when it's flying to the town of Threek... thank goodness it worked to fly in when I exited the lab and entered again for a better version of the machine! I see a bit of an Instant Revitalizing Device!

Glitches galore! )

From Reddit: Hello, darkness, my old friend. BLACK COFFEE (OR TEA) RULES!

In MOTHER 2 DELUXE, Ness / Paula / Jeff finally make it to Fourside. They meet this garden-variety mole, who tells them that even PPK Spirit can be dodged if the target has enough Speed. Luck and Speed are much more important stats in this game than the original, that's definitely for sure!

Here are Ness, Jeff, and the Teddy Bear in Fourside's Department Store!
