From Reddit: At EXACTLY 7:17 PM, you are 69,420 seconds through the day. QUIRKY TIME COINCIDENCE!

I finally blocked Kate on Discord - I don't NEED to hear her TMI stories or her insufficient apologies with "lol" for the "leaf" comment with question marks blaming her offensive denseness on her autism! I especially don't want to read her saying that my original paragraphs are just so much copypasta!

Autistic people are supposed to have trouble detecting sarcasm, but she's a special case with social cues. You're not supposed to think EVERYONE is being sarcastic! She needs to fucking LEARN and LISTEN, as I told her. My life in Red's Discord server will be so much better! She's a mere girl who already broke quarantine rules by moving in with her normal boyfriend Cameron, who must be a SAINT to put up with her for three years!

From Reddit: Just because someone suffers a disability or illness, it doesn't mean you have to accept their behavior.

Enlarged roaring dragon for everyone who PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF!

From Wesley: Booty Sweat energy drink and chocolate cocoa butter Bust-A-Nut performance energy bar to "pop a cap in hunger!"?! Oh my...

Knorr Cheddar Chipotle Sidekicks for dinner!

From Julie: Today, the Devil whispered in my ear, "You're not strong enough to withstand the storm." And I whispered, "Six feet back, Motherfucker." CORONAVIRUS!

I went out with a Miniso face mask at 12:30 on a 407. Went to Lansdowne T and T with my Asian old lady shopping cart to see if I could get a box of 50 face masks for $31. After lining up for 20 minutes because the line snaked around the market area of Lansdowne Mall, I FINALLY got inside with a temperature scanner check (which was fine) and managed to get a box from Customer Service. Since I was there anyway, I checked out the noodle aisle. I got Samyang Buldak Topokki noodles x2 and NEW Samyang Buldak Corn noodles x2 / Samyang Buldak Kimchi chicken terrorist noodles x2. My cart was already plenty full and bulky by the time I left at 1, but I decided to walk to Price Smart anyway, where the lineup moves MUCH FASTER! I got Fanny Bay oysters (May 5), Snack Pack vanilla pudding (May 22), plus NEW Snack Pack DRAGON TREASURE and UNICORN MAGIC puddings. Decided to get a NEW on-sale Aero Gold chocolate bar, a NEW on-sale Kit-Kat Gold chocolate bar, NEW Crave microwaveable meals (Bacon and Egg Scramble with Cheddar Cheese, and Chorizo Egg Scramble with Goat Cheese), and NEW limited-edition Tiramisu Oreos.

After that, I went home at 2:45 on a 407 to rest for a bit before going to London Drugs at 6:30. Planters BBQ peanuts (May 16), Pure Standards Products hydrogen peroxide, Arm and Hammer baking soda, on-sale organic Classico tomato garlic pasta sauce for the same $4 price as regular (sale ends May 27), a small Reese's Pieces (May 18), NEW Orange Vanilla Coke (May 8), NEW LaRose hand sanitizer for the same $4 price as regular, Tao Kae Noi wasabi seaweed snacks, Fudge Swirl Lindt truffles for tomorrow (May 2), and Aroy-D green curry for my Uncle Ben's jasmine rice. Got home at 7:25, which is fine by me.

Mamee chicken noodles with corn, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and green peas for lunch!

It's MARIO DAY today! :D

From Julie and 22 Words: Lord, no! Hey, we all love a comfortable toilet seat, so the idea of using a toilet cover shouldn't be so shocking. But this... this is an affront to all that is good in the world.

If that's a fuzzy blue toilet seat cover, I actually used to have one! When people were over at my place for a Fellowship prayer meeting in 2002, Joe asked whether he could use the washroom... of course! Afterwards, he came out and said: "Speaking as a guy, it's really hard to use your toilet!" Everyone else present wanted to know why, so he told us that it was the fuzzy blue toilet seat cover... holding it up while peeing created the potential for danger. Maxine's pantomime of a guy using my toilet was hilarious! :D

From Amanda: Coronavirus symptoms do NOT include shitting yourself, so there's no need to panic-buy toilet paper!

It's World Book Day today! The SFX Off-Topic group will NOT get a reminder this year for everybody to change their clocks for Daylight Saving Time. International members get too stroppy because "not everyone is in the United States [I could say the same to YOU since I'm in Canada!]" and "we changed our clocks last week!" Obviously then, that reminder is NOT for you! Scroll by and DON'T COMMENT! I had to "be civil" and not go all FIRE DRAGON on them... it was an exercise in patience, which is NOT a bad thing, but STILL!

A handyman came by unexpectedly at 12:30 with caulk to spackle my bathroom walls, which I'd mentioned to Hester last week. He also had noticed my shower tile apparently "needed" to be repaired too, which was fine by me, and he left by 1.

A couple days ago, Alice said she'd send me DOES IT FART?: THE DEFINITIVE FIELD GUIDE TO ANIMAL FLATULENCE (Nick Caruso, Dani Rabaiotti) in the mail for free. I was expecting it to arrive on May 2, but I was surprised when I got a "missed call" today because the phone beeped at me at 1:30. Thank goodness that the East Indian Amazon delivery driver was patient and called me back again... that saves me the trek down to Purolator! Of course I thanked Alice within ten minutes before I got distracted with editing my Book List entry and Goodreads! She hopes I enjoy it, too!

I was out of my place at 5:20 when Deb called to see if it was a good time to pick me up on the way to grab the kids from wherever they were after school. Sure, why not? We went to Hugh Boyd where Declan was; Dylan had picked Elysse up earlier since he'd felt sick at work at 2 or so. Declan demonstrated some good reading skills when we waited for Deb at Seafair Complex before getting some gas for the car. Yeah, the sushi and tempura is a good place to start. He told me that he would let his wife choose the names for their future kids - solid choice, my friend! I'm sure he'd like to try Subway sometime, too. As soon as we got home, the kids started talking about negotiating iPad time and toy time - nice!

We had very slightly spicy chicken wings, rice, bass fish, and bok choy for dinner after watching SAMURAI RANGERS and MINECRAFT. Declan wanted to show me his musical SAMURAI RANGERS sword, which is fine. Elysse insisted on watching GLITTER FORCE with GLITTER FORCE MAKEOVER on the iPad during dinner. When she asked me about my cellphone, I said that I'd received it from my dad. Her answer: "DID HE DIE?!" HAHAHAHA, how amusingly morbid!

If I can type with 98% spelling and grammar accuracy on my phone like I am doing "right now," so can everyone else who doesn't have legitimate difficulties with the English language. There, I said it... BOOM!

From my ex-friend Jimmy: Laundry today or NAKED tomorrow!

From Julie: Friendship is like pissing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel its warmth. Thank you for being the piss in my pants!

I went out at 9:30 on a 401 to meet Mom and Dad at Main and 15th at TXL Insurance, Uncle William Ng's company. (10:30 AM?!) After we had lunch at Kwong Chow and finally took care of the insurance, I did some shopping at the Broadway London Drugs. Bought 400 Mead index cards, store brand all-purpose cleaner, a three-inch Avery binder for my important documents (a definite upgrade!), a red $2 MARTEX washcloth, a GUM toothbrush, and two dark blue $2 GOODY toothbrush covers. Got home at 1:40 to a Purolator notice (ugh), a phone call from Dr. Wise's office, and some other mail, so I had to deal with all of that.

I got a BUDDY THE ELF Christmas card / Tazo Tea x3 (passion herbal tea, vanilla caramel chai, and green ginger tea) / magnetic Fool Moon treasures crow bookmark from Angie H. (auralily) and a Ringo the dog Christmas card from Kitty (bornwitch / dutch_kitty) in the mail. Then after calling Dr. Wise's office back, I GOT MY SURGERY TIME! 11:45 at Mount St. Joseph's isn't TERRIBLE! After letting Barry know about the surgery date and then fielding an inconvenient phone call from Mom (I was going to go out before it got dark!), I trekked near YVR on Jericho Road to get to the Purolator via YVR Airport Canada Line, placing myself nearer the airport than I'd intended today, as I told Corey when I got back. COFFEE TIME! The Canucks played Nashville at 5 today, and they came back from a 3-1 score to take it to overtime, thanks to Boeser and Horvat. However, they ended up losing 4-3!

Lucas, Kumatora, Duster, and Boney are reunited in Chapter 5 of MOTHER 3. On their way to defeat Lord Passion at Osohe Castle, they drop in on Wess at the nursing home Old Man's Paradise so he can see his son for the first time in three years. "Duster? No, Lucky or whatever is fine. You have legs, right? I see you're the same... The same as ever."

COFFEE TIME while I'm still figuring out why Jimmy blocked me instead of just talking to me about what I did... I should have posed it as a hypothetical a while ago!

Then again, he probably doesn't trust me anymore after what I did, which I can now regret and understand! The Canucks played the Stars at 1 today, and tried holding a 1-0 lead... NOPE, they lost 2-1! UGH! Afterwards, I went to London Drugs at 4:10 on a 401. I got new Cra-z-Art felts, on-sale Lever 2000 Original soap in a pack of four, and some replacement items: Garnier Fructis Pure Clean green shampoo and conditioner, NEW NIVEA Care and Diamond body wash (Diamond Shimmer Calla Lily scent), a yellow LifeCandy shower pouf, two GUM toothbrushes, Softsoap pomegranate and mango liquid hand soap, on-sale Arm and Hammer baking soda toothpaste, two dark blue GOODY toothbrush covers, and a GIBSON owl coffee mug.

While I was there, I mailed the Soo black pepper salmon jerky and a Christmas card to Kramer / Merlin / Poohbear / Kitsune in a bubble-wrap envelope... plus Christmas cards to Julie (moonshar), Sheryll (sheryll), Kitty (bornwitch / dutch_kitty), Deanna (endlessblush) [and a bonus birthday card], Corey (dwcorey) [and a bonus birthday card], Kelli (neonrose5), and Steph / Lisa / Fraser / Henry / Havarti. LONDON DRUGS NOW HAS A PUBLIC CUSTOMER RESTROOM AGAIN - YAY! Bonus: The woman cashier's name was LUCKY, and SHE didn't comment on all the "heavy" items! I got home at 5:25 on an early 407, which is fine, too.

I discovered redrum today - UGH! Jon asked if I could come tomorrow, but I said no because I'm not feeling well. Aspirin would be a pain to keep track of in front of the kids, and what if I wanted to sleep or rage hardcore? Yeah, not happening this time! Today's agenda: THE NHL 100TH ANNIVERSARY WINTER CLASSIC! Eric Ho came over early at 1:30 so I could give him the parking pass / parking permit. While he was busy with that, I hid most of my bottled water in my room - didn't stop him from drinking three of them! I was going to buy more bottled water on Wednesday anyhow, but WOW. Then I could FINALLY give Eric his 37 index cards in a Ziploc bag, Cadbury's dark milk chocolate bar, Terry's Chocolate Orange, Ragusa Noir chocolate bar, big Jersey Milk chocolate bar, birthday card, and Christmas card... he definitely thanked me for all of that. He offered to get me food since he was going back home for dinner, but we ended up "sharing" a can of Vegetable Beef Chunky Soup instead at 4:50, meaning I had to wash two bowls and spoons instead of one when he decided that he'd be too full for dinner at home. *rolleyes*

We talked about Nathan and Ciel, trying the Italian Tomato again, serial killers, his children's cough medicine (the pharmacy ran out of other cough medicine since everyone's sick now), remote-controlled stuff, electric cars, gasoline, Steph, Lisa, Carey Price, TMZ, annoying Christmas commercials, Google Home, SURVIVOR, the Hollywood sex scandals, the 1917 Montreal Canadiens / Ottawa Senators, and the negative temperatures at the outdoor game. Also discussed goalies not being allowed to crouch to make saves back in 1917, people swearing, the parking pass patrol, my hockey fan friends, Jon, Harmony, all my nephews, Robert Pickton, Discord, Jimmy, Daniel Alfredsson and the Hall of Fame, venting, SkipTheDishes, Brent Burns, the Vegas Golden Knights winning 2-1 over the Penguins (Fleury's revenge!), THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES movie, and Roberto Luongo / Cory Schneider / Eddie Lack. Eric left during the second intermission at 5:55 to rest before dinner, but I managed to offload all the leftover snacks on him. No, I don't feel like eating crumbs from a bag! Eat them yourself, dude! I also found out that he neglected to retract a pen - UGH!

Helixia Prospan children's cough medicine: An expectorant with ivy leaf extract; relieves cough, loosens mucus and phlegm, 200 mL of syrup, a frog, and tastes like honey for children ages 1 to 11! Sucrose-free, gluten-free, dye-free, and alcohol-free!

These are all the enemies I could find in FINAL FANTASY VI: THE ETERNAL CRYSTALS!

Humans over the age of 35 lose about 7000 brain cells each day. (that explains my ditziness!)

Dammit, I should have used a billion Strength Seeds before fighting Dogma and Zozogel in DRAGON QUEST VI - too late now unless I restart (so close to the end!) OR somehow figure out how to use ZST files! (I swear I knew this before when I was playing CHRONO TRIGGER last year...) Never mind, then. Doesn't really matter!

Mom and Dad were LATE picking me up this morning, and I was surprised that Mom was driving. Apparently, Dad was sick and under the influence of Neo-Citran which he didn't want to take. HA HA! We discussed Havarti's growth, dropping Jon off at Tom Lee, clothing, Nerds, chocolate, and other things which I didn't really pay attention to. Went to see Grandma briefly, and I gave her half a mini-banana... the other half looked brown, so I threw that out. I ate another mini-banana, and in the time it took for me to throw the peel in the trash, she'd finished her apple juice! Grandma also recognized me, and had a rounder face than usual... apparently, this is a medical side effect. She said that Alan had visited her earlier, which is good. Maybe she has a lot of repetition! At least she fed herself some soup.

We were off to Trinity church on 49th a bit early, but at least it was close by! Congratulated Myles in person, saw Peter and Holly, noticed Harmony with a crying Ayler (she had to bounce him all the time - maybe she missed the ceremony!), and saw Steph talking to her! Also said hi to Dorcas, who keeps forgetting our family connection to Myles, hahaha. We wondered which wedding photo category we'd fit into: probably #8, which was the groom's extended family. The ceremony was pretty traditional, right down to the vows. Brittney and her sister look REALLY alike!

Saw a bunch of people whom I haven't seen since Harmony's bridal shower and wedding back in 2009, like Peter's parents! Dropped the ugfart off at Tom Lee while discussing Thanksgiving, teaching, making money, FAT DRAGON, Portland, Pho Thai Son and the supermarket next to it BURNING DOWN (Jeremy probably saw the remains this morning!), and more. At least I got to go home after Mom unsuccessfully looked for parking at the insanely busy Yaohan Centre! I didn't want to go for smoked chicken at their house, since I'm having noodles and downtime here!

[livejournal.com profile] lilaznffairy421 and I have decided to see if we can reach the maximum number of comments on a post, which is currently set at 5000. (I guess the previous limit of 60,000-something was way too much.. probably caused the servers to crash, burn, and explode!)

We're not members of [livejournal.com profile] _commentwhores, so no worries there. If you want to help us reach that comment limit on this post, go ahead! (I thought of not allowing anyone else to comment, but that didn't promote a spirit of togetherness)

It will be interesting to see how long this takes, so the post will be dated. Whoever first leaves a comment, please date it. If we ever get to 5000 on the post, date the last one if you remember!

Leave any comments you like on any topic, but remember: I have full veto power, and I can delete anything I choose to. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *evil grin*

By the way: please include a subject line when starting a new thread in the comments section. It makes my job of sifting through emails so much easier. :D

Edit on Wednesday, 2 February 2005 @ 10:50 PM We're done! Yay! :D For Farrah's friends who want to see this for themselves, it's now public. ;)

Edit on Tuesday, 31 May 2011 @ 8:05 PM [livejournal.com profile] matt1993 wants to get this up to the newer limit of 10,000 comments.
