I went out at 2:25 to go to London Drugs: on-sale Kinder Joy eggs x2, Blistex lip balm x4 which have SHRUNK (Melon Medley / Berry Explosion / Triple Tropics / bonus Peaches and Cream), on-sale Cottonelle 36 MEGA Rolls of toilet paper x2 ($8.99 is better than $10.99 for 24!), on-sale Nacho / Pizza Goldfish for the kids, and Oikos Classic Greek yogurt for National Greek Yogurt Day today. Got home at 3:35 - UGH, JUST MISSED THE 407!

DOUBLE COFFEE TIME! Waiting for Auntie Bessy at Kam Do Bakery this morning proved to be a waste of 40 minutes all told. Good thing I just managed to get the 401 on the way there and the 407 on the way back, getting home at 9:40 AM when I'd left at 8:50 AM! Ugh! The Canucks played Winnipeg today at 5, and lost 4-1... ANOTHER EMPTY-NET GOAL?!

I then left at 7:40 to go to the IGA at Garden City Centre at Blundell, but first encountered a lady at the bus stop who somehow just could NOT wait ten minutes for a cigarette! She scrutinized the bus schedule and knew that the 401 would come in four minutes, so what did she do? Why, sat down on the bench and lit up a smoke, of course! Karma came for her in the form of a 401, so she had to butt it out on the bench before she got on the bus and then had a major coughing fit before she and a male companion got off at Minoru, presumably to smoke prior to whatever they REALLY wanted to do!

At least I saw that bus stop advertisement for Ocean's Tuna: Ginger Lemon Sesame, Peri-Peri, and Sundried Tomato Tapenade! Wasted my time at IGA too, since they didn't have the Fresh Gourmet The Better Chip in Jalapeno flavor: "It's a Walmart brand!" they said as I bought NEW Pillsbury Pizza Pops in Double Cheeseburger flavor. I eventually got home at 9:25 after having to kill half an hour at Richmond Centre and buying frozen President's Choice Brussels sprouts and frozen President's Choice broccoli florets.

In the morning, I told Jon that I had some cash, so I could still come tomorrow if they needed me. I went out at 2 to the pharmacy next door to get some Buckey's Cough, Cold, and Flu medicine. Then I showered and did some laundry now that Hester says the elevator is FINALLY FIXED AFTER "only" TWO MONTHS!

Just in time for a daily update! Before Paulo came over to pick up his stuff four minutes ago, I took a shower today. I gave Paulo his All-Bran Buds portion in a Rubbermaid microwaveable container (plus the packaging for that), one pack of Kwangchun Healthful roasted seaweed, some Mala Samyang noodles, regular Samyang Fire noodles, MyKuali spicy prawn Penang noodles, MyKuali spicy white curry Penang noodles, MyKuali Red Tom Yum Goong noodles, Sapporo Ichiban Tonkotsu ramen noodles, Vedan Bah Kut tea noodles, Vedan mushroom and artificial cuttlefish noodles, Vedan spicy Korean kimchi noodles, Vedan spicy mushroom noodles, Samyang Carbo Cheese noodles, Samyang Spicy Cheese noodles, and Paldo Korean Bul Jjamppong noodles - all in the LOQI reusable bag with cats on it that Jon and Harmony gave me for Christmas last year. I have tested it out; it's just not as roomy as the ones from London Drugs!

He was pretty excited, dancing around like a little kid! Yes, we both forgot about opening the Winter Creek oyster jar until he'd left, but I was luckily able to grab him before he had exited the building! He apologized for the lateness of the intrusion, but it's fine. LUCKILY, it was BEFORE midnight and I wasn't talking to Mike at the time. He also thought some MOTHER 3 music was some water boiling - if it sounds like THAT, then you got problems! It's the high notes of the jukebox!

I had a banana-chocolate muffin, cut strawberries, and coffee for breakfast. Lunch was some leftovers including butter chicken. Dinner: Thai eggplant curry with peppers and bamboo, rice, naan bread, plus Tillamook Malted Moo ice cream! We watched some stuff on Netflix and generally had a chill evening with crafts and reading.

After DOUBLE COFFEE TIME, I left at 2:55 for my dentist appointment with Sean at 3:30. Turns out the extra half hour was to update my X-rays and digital paperless records! I overheard an older guy actually argue with Sean in the waiting room about how he didn't have time to floss or brush his teeth: he wanted to weasel his way out of more frequent appointments, and didn't want to listen to BC dental rules and guidelines. I got on the Canada Line after checking my Royal Bank card balance at Oakridge Mall, but the guy in a wheelchair posed a problem for me when he wouldn't get out at Lansdowne Station, so I walked from there to London Drugs. (the guy with the bike was bad enough at Brighouse AND Oakridge Station on my way to the appointment...)

I checked out London Drugs again since both Sean and the hygienist mentioned Vaseline for my dry lips. Luckily, it was on sale, as were the replacement thin Secret bamboo socks which I was going to buy after payday. (I noticed a hole in a pair yesterday) The sales would not extend until payday, so I bought a 50g tube of Vaseline original petroleum jelly / 600mL of Vaseline intensive care lotion in a yellow bottle (which contains micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly) / a pair of replacement thin Secret bamboo socks. When I got home at 5:45 on a 407, I prepared blog entries and novel reading for COMPUTERLESS DOOM this weekend. INTO THE WILDERNESS (Sara Donati), FALL OF GIANTS (Ken Follett), HAWAII (James Michener), and LONDON (Edward Rutherfurd) are my choices!

FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF Bestiary!

This is the complete bestiary for FINAL FANTASY 5 SPOOF, and all screenshots are from my own playthrough. I'd like to say that this GameFAQs bestiary document helped me a lot; thank you! (as did this one, for more precise directions in certain places) Also, this walkthrough helped me a lot, too! Actually, I was tired of suffering through emulator slowness and game glitches x8, so input a code for a 100% complete Bestiary. These maps will help, since the world map DOESN'T FUCKING WORK IN THIS GAME!

This is a good RPG Classics page for Pro Action Replay codes!

CHECK THE MAP WITH THE Y BUTTON, NOT THE R BUTTON!

Fire-Powered Ship puzzle directions.


Notes to self: Activate the All Characters Have All Abilities code, and then TAKE IT OFF, or else the game will get incredibly frustratingly SLOW. Also, take all codes off before going to the Big Bridge, or attempting to find the Phantom Village! VISHNU VEST EQUIPMENT! Speaking of equipment, EQUIP KRILE WHEN SHE JOINS THE PARTY AFTER GALUF'S DEATH! As far as codes go, the "have 99 of all items" code makes the game freeze and have sound issues!

After much frustration over three hours, I managed to defeat Omega by using the power of Mirage Vests (IMAGE STATUS) / Coral Rings (fire protection), and a pre-emptive strike! I used it to power up my blades with Thundaga Spellblade, then used Rapid-Fire on Faris... I think it was a fluke!

Also, to reset the breath timer in the sunken tower of Walse, climb up the fourth floor vine to get to that chest! I finally actually defeated Famed Mimic Gogo at the bottom of the sunken Tower of Walse by using the Dragoon / Dual-Wield x4 strategy! It was pretty tricky since I wasn't sure that all my characters would survive at least five Meteor attacks, but two of them did! Got garbled text as part of the bugged fight, too... "Dragged into another dimension! Odin: All right, that's far enough! Turning to stone... Can't escape! Countdown to Pestilence... 4 KO'd! Countdown to Eruption... 5 KO'd! Level halved! KO'd!":D

To get the Drakenvale Golem in the Bestiary, defeat the dragons first and THEN defend until he thanks you!

Stick "READ AHEAD" on a character other than Lenna! To prevent having to input all the codes over and over again, SAVE / remove all codes / then close and reopen the emulator! They should all still be there!

For the Moogle in the Forest of Moore to move after the trees have been set on fire by Tzepish, save the game in the cave and then reset. The creature should NOT be blocking the entrance.

Airship in World 3: It's just above Surgate Castle, east of the Pyramid.

DO NOT SET ANY "No Random Encounters" CODE! IT WILL GLITCH OUT THE GAME! (submarine / world map won't work, and there WILL be no random encounters)

TRY DEFEATING NEO SHINRYU FIRST BEFORE OMEGA MK. II - or else you can't get out of the room for some reason! (the exit door SHOULD be open, but is shut tight instead!)

After COFFEE TIME, I went out at 6 to meet Chrystal at the Broadway Station London Drugs. She definitely appreciated her 35 index cards for her 35th birthday, the Rose and Robin solid chocolate 200g Easter bunny, the giant Dreamworks Trolls milk chocolate heart, the two Christmas Mix packs of Coconut / Red Apple / Very Cherry / Green Apple Jelly Belly jellybeans, the carrot cake Hershey's Kisses, the Ziploc bag full of Hershey's Eggies / Lindt milk chocolate Easter eggs / Lindt white chocolate Easter eggs / Lindt dark chocolate Easter eggs / Brookside Merlot Blackcurrant and Brookside Chardonnay Grape Peach chocolates, and her very belated birthday card! We eventually headed over a block to Menya Japanese Noodle House after I'd glanced at the MAD magazine for sale. (I can't believe I didn't LIKE the Facebook page until I got home tonight!) The place had wood stumps for chairs, which is interesting! I got their Shoyu ramen while we caught up on life - her uncle moving to a Richmond townhouse somewhere, Emily and Mike not having chairs or a table yet, my seeing Uncle Peter and Auntie Ying on the 402 bus yesterday, her nephew Ethan loving numbers, and walking around London Drugs later.

I was going to get WASABI Pringles with my Heluva Good Jalapeno Cheddar chip dip, but ended up getting the sour cream and onion Pringles instead since the green colors were very similar AND they were right next to each other on the fucking shelf! I only found that out after opening them up when I got home at 8:55 on a 407 to try one, and the online shopping options on the London Drugs website only take credit cards and selected Interac cards; the shipping options are equally ridiculous, since $7.95 or $35.95 for ground shipping or UPS Western Canada delivery is exorbitant!

In COLINBOUND 1, Colin and Madam Hex have to defeat four RCMP officers at the Selkirk police station so the path to Lockport can be unblocked. When they turn back to normal, they drop Doughnuts, hahaha!




On their way to Red River from Lockport in COLINBOUND 1, Colin and Madam Hex see this smiley face blocking the path to a working bridge. "What the hell?! There's a giant smiley face in your way." Joe will invent a Smiley Smasher to take care of that problem, thank goodness!
