In the morning, I told Jon that I had some cash, so I could still come tomorrow if they needed me. I went out at 2 to the pharmacy next door to get some Buckey's Cough, Cold, and Flu medicine. Then I showered and did some laundry now that Hester says the elevator is FINALLY FIXED AFTER "only" TWO MONTHS!

Chinese Eric texted me to say that his co-worker had gotten him a "great" deal on BC Lions tickets for Sept. 13: only $40 to $50 each! HA HA HA. If this is for BOTH our birthdays, it should be something we BOTH like, and I don't even like football at the best of times!

I was up far too early (6 AM?!) for a smoke detector inspection at 12:45. At least yesterday's snow has melted! Chinese Eric emailed me to wonder where I was because he tried calling me on the 17th (oops), but says that our next hangout could be in late March or early April because there are some INTERESTING games coming up if the Canucks are in playoff contention. Well, I guess we shall see about this!

Andre Stelter added me to Facebook - hey, he is a Canucks fan, so why not? I finally got back home at 3:35 on a 407 (going out at 2:10 on a 401) after buying two blue replacement $20 Snapware 35.2L storage containers for my "useless" Sterilite Corp / Sterilite Corporation latched 26L containers x2 / a "useless" Rubbermaid latched 28.4 L container from the nearby London Drugs. One of the lids is dirty, so I disinfected it when I got home. Yay for stepladders and helpful employees when I could find them at the store!

Then I decided to go out AGAIN at 4:45 on a 401 to the Ironwood London Drugs, even with reduced Sunday bus schedules. I went to Shoppers at Richmond Centre first to buy Uncle Ben's Rice x2 (Long Grain and Wild Fine Herbs / Wholegrain and Wild Garden Herb) for November appointment planning. However, I also had to go back across the street to Shoppers Drug Mart from Brighouse Station because the employee there had failed to give my Shoppers Optimum card back to me after I paid for my rice, which did NOT help!

When I finally got the next 408 Ironwood at 5:30, I discovered that a Z-Grip pen had somehow FALLEN APART in my small reusable bag - WTF? Another one was unretracted, so I had to get rid of all that detritus on the bus. At least I finally got my third and final two blue replacement $20 Snapware 35.2L storage container at London Drugs, plus a Purell hand sanitizer because I didn't have one in my small reusable bag for some reason. The expiry date is in March 2021, so it's fine to just chill in there for two and a half years! I FINALLY got home at 6:50 on a 401 when it was getting dark, since I had no patience to wait for the 407.

It was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT at 7:30 AM this morning. After finding mouse droppings in the kitchen and looking things up online, I went to London Drugs at 10:20 on a 407. Unfortunately, there was an older lady at the bus stop who thought that I wanted to be the recipient of endless talking about when the next bus would get there. I gave her the eminently unhelpful answer of "no" when asked for the time, and an equally unhelpful answer of "five minutes ago" when asked if and when I left my house, hahaha. I also don't flip off drivers THAT often, but WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE INTO A PEDESTRIAN'S PATH WHEN THEY'RE TRYING TO CROSS AT AN UNMARKED CROSSWALK?! Once I finally got to the store, I got index cards / two on-sale jugs of bleach / some zebra duct tape. Then I got home at 10:55 on a 401 and started cleaning / disinfecting / putting duct tape and steel wool in the kitchen.
