After COFFEE TIME, I went out at 11:10 on a 414 to see Sue, the housing manager at CHIMO. I saw a guy clapping his hands like a seal and slapping his knees on the shuttle bus, but he wasn't wearing any headphones that I could see. What the heck?! Since I was going to the building anyway, I also took along the Lays chips and roasted seaweed for Rachel - Numb and Spicy Hot Pot, Wasabi, Kimchi, Deep-Ridged BBQ Pork, and Deep-Ridged Spicy Chicken! Sue seemed pretty understanding and encouraged me to advocate for myself, dropping Dave McDonald's name, so perhaps I'll do that. Squeaky wheel and all of that, I suppose. When the appointment ended an hour later (she thinks I'm animated and have skills and humor?!), it turned out that Daisy was out to lunch at just past 12-ish.
I figured I'd kill time by taking the 410 to Yaohan so I could find some curry cuttlefish at Curry House to horrify Mike with a food photo, haha. Turns out that they only had curry beef balls and the like, and Osaka Supermarket didn't seem to have fresh cuttlefish either! I eventually went to Golden Rice Bowl and ordered broccoli and fried cuttlefish with fried noodles at 12:40 despite the fact that I'd eaten breakfast at 10, but finished the whole thing in one sitting after taking the requisite photo for Mike. That later turned out to be a bad idea since it's been feeling like a rock all evening, but there was nothing I could do other than take two Pepto. Good thing it hasn't made me feel overly BLERGH!
When I was trying to make my way out from Brighouse Station, an older man who slightly smelled like pee caused a delay in the elevator by trying to tell me to go back in the elevator, and THEN held everyone up by moving at a snail-like and glacial pace out the door. Why does it take you 30 seconds to take two steps and then be outside the elevator?! (I described this to Mike later, and he says I have a way with words! HAHAHA!) Time for a cane or walker, old man! I told him to hurry up, and he just gave me a dirty look! I'm not normally an impatient person, but others have PLACES TO GO AND CONNECTIONS TO MAKE!
Good thing this idiot didn't cost me the time I needed to make it across the street to the 406 by Kam Do Bakery! I went back to the CHIMO building, and luckily, the door was open to Rachel's work. So I asked Daisy to do me a favor and give a bag of stuff to Rachel next time she was in, thanks! She thanked me in turn, saying she'd put it in her room. That was nice and brief, and I finally got home at 2:35 WITHOUT encountering any more problems or delays. I'll eventually shower for tomorrow's Dublin Crossing pub hangout once I feel less full...
Lunchtime at Yaohan: fried noodles, broccoli, woodear mushrooms, carrots, and fried cuttlefish. I ate off some of the tempura just so you could see the cuttlefish better.

I noticed that Gemma Wright unfriended me on Facebook. Hahaha! She always said she'd post spider pics in her comments, but that doesn't work if THE VERY FIRST THING you see is a tarantula! She thinks that spiders helped her get over her fear - whatever! Kate agrees with me!

I have no patience for garbled gibberish group names on Facebook or anywhere else. What kind of name is "mkhgpqwopo ooezpq can luionnnnn"?! The old name of Quotes and Sarcasm was just fine! I know that 2/3 of the people there have really foreign or just plain weirdass personal names, but that doesn't mean it has to transfer to the group name as well, MISSY ANN! You have a normal name - COME ON! I've left the group, and I'm not even sure why I was there in the first place. I showered today after finally blocking Victor R. for asking about dick pics. Gross! Deleting Telegram from my phone proved to be easy, thanks to Google.

I left at 1:35 and just managed to get the 414 at the non-existent 56447 bus stop - PHEW! Went to London Drugs and bought on-sale limited-edition Lays Chips in Cheese Onion and Spicy Cheddar, on-sale McSweeney's Premium Jerky and Meat Snacks Canadian Maple pork jerky, on-sale McSweeney's original and Cracked Black Pepper and Teriyaki beef jerky, a dark blue MARTEX bath towel, NEW Strawberry-Banana Tic Tacs Mixers, and some on-sale Royal Dansk butter cookies for Deb and Dylan. Then I went to see Rachel at the Caring Place, which went fine even after talking about two weeks ago. I got home at 5:15 on a 401, no thanks to a delay. Now I am going to relax! I also just checked my mail - someone sent me THE FARTING ANIMALS COLORING BOOK (M.T. Lott) via Amazon recently... NICE! The amount of white packing Styrofoam material inside the Amazon envelope was not so nice, though! (I should pack it up and send it to Jimmy, ha ha ha... he supposedly HATES it!)
Edit: The surprise in the mail turned out to be from Alice again - AWESOME!

After DOUBLE COFFEE TIME and an early shower, I left for Jon's at 2:45 on a 401. For Sunday, I'll message him in the morning to see what's up with them and going around Arbutus. I beat them to the house by two minutes after breaking a $50 bill at Kam Do Bakery (BBQ pork bun!) for that dinner in a couple of weeks. The kids thought they should beat me to the house because they live there (also that Hiero can get rid of Ayler), but that's not how things work! I read (Christmas GRINCH and baby) books to them for at least 45 minutes after a snack of cherry tomatoes dunked in chocolate milk, plus mangoes. Turns out that I was sitting in some Silly Putty "slime" that the kids made at school (which Harmony noticed), so I had to wash my white pants when I got home... I was NOT IMPRESSED, and wasn't impressed when the kids reached for my hat and said stuff about taking it off. At least the Silly Putty washed off!

Both boys said that Curtis (Jon's piano student) and I were Mommy, despite warnings from Jon. (INCEST IS WRONG!) We had minestrone and chicken Pho noodles for dinner; Jon and I also had (Steamworks) beer. I told the kids about YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION, and the "I don't know" phrase triggering GREEN SLIME! We discussed my doing the dishes, boundaries (I got up mid-book to find an oatmeal cookie after ten times of the kids talking about my hat), going to the bathroom / using coconut oil / privacy / the cash register, my leaving at 6:45 (and getting home at 7:25 on a 401), popsicles, baby spit-up, blowing bubbles in chocolate milk, favorite colors (Ayler likes red and Hiero likes yellow), being quiet, and more.

I got some of the most Swedish candy ever in the mail today from Katherine K. AKA cactus_rs - Bilar candy cars and Polly butter toffee / chocolate / vanilla candy! ("except black licorice - UGH!") Isabella (med_cat) also mailed me a Christmas card and smiley face stickers / a snowflake sticker / a snowboarding cat sticker / a polar bear sticker / a luge sticker. The Canucks played the Blackhawks at 7 tonight, and won 5-2, no thanks to a last-second garbage Chicago goal.

When I arrived at the townhouse tonight for dinner, my sister described me to my brother's Toronto friends (Matt, Amy, Jonathan, Hang Kit, and someone else) as "the entertainment." Auntie Grace (Dave's mom) even showed me a bottle of wine and told me that she bought it for me... can I just live DOWN last year's escapades in peace?! AIYA! Jon even poured me some 10.5% alcohol barley wine (Old Fat Cat brewery or something) after my sparkling non-alcoholic wine cooler... thanks, bro. :P It was the last time I see Dave, Melissa, and Vivian S. before everyone goes back to Toronto / Montreal tomorrow or the next day. We ate, watched more FAMILY GUY, and jammed before leaving. It was pretty chill, heh.
