I texted Chinese Eric on and off today, and he wanted to know what kind of food he should pick up since I was home by 4:10 on a 407. I said nothing, but I should have gotten him to get the Dr. Oetker cheesecakes from Safeway or the Hazelnut Spread M&M candies! When he got here at 4:50 after the annoying parking pass business, he ate most of the Tropical Salsa kettle chips and most of the Old Dutch Humpty Dumpty cheese sticks: Habanero with Blue Cheese! Yes, of course he could open the window, and he asked me whether I had any of "those chips." Turns out he meant the Indomie Goreng chips, and the London Drugs near his place is out of the way, so I guess I'll pick some up and he can pay me back next time he comes over. Gotta keep the receipt, for sure!

We talked about fast goals, the St. Louis Blues / San Jose Sharks playoff game and referee controversy, the Toronto Raptors / Milwaukee Bucks basketball game (I heard squeaking - that was the shoes on the court), Kawhi Leonard (what a name...), Lebron James, white Eric, Christon's wedding, the FARTING ANIMALS coloring book, his asking his mom about surgery, my text messages being "a lot to read" while driving (just do it...), some CD release party / gig that Jon had invited us both to, and my surgery. Yep, it was a good hangout - he left at 7:40, so I could relax and finally start time by myself. Today was pretty busy! Maybe we CAN hang out next time for the final Stanley Cup playoff round! "I have a gift for you - have a salsa chip!" Haha!

After COFFEE TIME, I left for Jon's at 1:40 on a 401. I had their reusable tote bag from Thanksgiving, and their Bobo's Oat Bars x4 (Chocolate Chip / Maple Pecan / Coconut / Lemon Poppyseed) from yesterday. I got there on time (after sitting on some guy's bank statements because he left them on the seat beside him - I WISH I'D BLED ON THEM!), and was able to hang out with Ayler for about half an hour at home by ourselves since Jon had to go somewhere and Harmony had to pick up Hiero at St. Giles preschool. I passed the time by looking at Ayler's school agenda, learning, asking Ayler about the pumpkin patch today, and eating some chocolate while Ayler put together his Canada puzzle quietly.

After we had a very early dinner of Thanksgiving leftovers at 4, Penny the therapist came over at 5. She told both me and Harmony not to react to whatever Ayler was doing "wrong," but REALLY? I got to hang out with Beckett (who was in his bouncer sometimes), and Hiero "told on me" for bouncing the baby in said bouncer - whatever! I was gentler than either of them were when they were trying to "make him feel better"! Beckett held his favorite colorful toy for quite a while, is starting to vocalize, and "screamed" at me excitedly. So cute! I was fine with him on his colorful mat as well when Ayler and Hiero had bathtime. Yes, I laughed when I heard bubbles coming from both ends! Jon says the cleaners are coming over Monday at 10 AM, and Harmony says it'll only be two hours, but that's fine. I thanked her again on my way out!

When I finally left after bathtime and bedtime, I exchanged the Febreze air fresheners (Harvest Pumpkin / Hawaiian Aloha) from yesterday for Febreze fabric deodorizers at the nearby Save-On Foods. Next time, I should just get them from London Drugs since they're cheaper over there by $2! I got the 3 Marine Drive station bus (which only comes once every half hour) with a minute to spare, and finally got home at 9:05 on a 407, which wasn't helped by the fact that the 401 was already at the bus stop! At least I finally had peace and quiet when I got home, but I wondered what was going on with a certain someone. WE WERE HAVING A GOOD FEW DAYS AND CONVERSATION, JIMMY! WHY BLOCK ME FOR NO REASON THIS MORNING?! Lena says that he sounds insane...

After COFFEE TIME, Vanessa and baby Cassidy (with her cool pink sunglasses) picked me up for my BIRTHDAY LUNCH at Pho 37 in Ironwood and Steveston. She apologized for yesterday, but it was still fine by me. We talked about her friends, Tamara, chocolate, sugar, weird people, our parents and siblings(-in-law), "adventurous" pork blood / pork hock / Vietnamese ham / beef / basil / bean sprouts in spicy soup, spring rolls, shrimp salad rolls, padding, buying various things at London Drugs (I opted for on-sale Cool Blue Gatorade x6 - but couldn't find the expiry date of March 16, 2019 on the bottle till just now), blenders, She dropped me off early for my appointment with Rachel at The Caring Place. Rachel actually saw me early, which was surprising, but I also got to be home at 3:25 on a 407, so things worked out that way. I think other things (with Jimmy) are pretty final, but I could be wrong. Still, I want the control...

After COFFEE TIME, I left extra early (ugh) at 12:20 for my 1 PM rescheduled appointment with Rachel. I guess I have to take being half an hour early rather than ten minutes late, due to weird C94 scheduling. After that, I went to London Drugs and got Excel peppermint gum, and was very careful with my selection for a new wallet, eventually deciding on a $30 (and expensive!) "big" black Swiss Gear toiletry bag. At least it can fit 100 index cards, three maxipads, and a bunch of other stuff while still being wide enough for a bank envelope should I need one to compartmentalize some cash money! Speaking of cash money, I got two $5 bills in my change, which should be enough for the "extra" $10 for Andrew's final computer payment for next payday! I got home at 3:05 on a 407, and was mildly annoyed when I saw that Mom had tried calling me. I SAID I COULDN'T MAKE IT TO LUNCH! Jesus Christ!

What a stressful morning! Dad emailed me at 10 to say that I could have lunch with them because they had more stuff for me. I simply said I couldn't make it, because "I've eaten already" could mean "oh, it's just breakfast" in their little minds. Then I called Barry - who was at a goodbye party - to tell him about the cataract consultation date, who said that July 12 (a Tuesday) wouldn't work because he has another client who has a surgery that afternoon, which has been booked for months. He persuaded me to reschedule since I was able to get an appointment within a few days of the eye exam with the retina specialists. So I did, getting a new date a week later of July 19.

I called him back, stating that I had to leave the house soon as it was 11:30 or so. He gave me the dates of July 23 (a Monday) or July 26, another Tuesday. After calling Dr. Wise's office back, I finally got a consultation date of July 26 at 9:15 AM. No, 8:15 AM was way too early, and I apparently couldn't get a later time on that day. Of course, I apologized for trying to coordinate schedules with my ride, but the receptionist seemed fine with it, UNLIKE MIKE! Haha! At 11:45, I then had to poop. Thanks for the warning THIS time, body, but I didn't have much time, relatively speaking! Of course I pooped, but now I really do need to catch the C94!

Barry called me at 12:30 to say that he'd found someone named Tryanna who could take me food shopping on the 20th. He says he'll be back in early October, unless war breaks out in Japan. I thought Trump was after North Korea, but WHO KNOWS. Then I called Chrystal at 1:15 to let her know what was up, of course. She appreciated it - of course I'll call her later to confirm!
