COFFEE TIME! I finally got through to Pure Nail Bar so I could use the pedicure gift card from Jon and Harmony from Christmas. Next Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 works as long as I'm in the area anyway. Jeremy emailed me to say that he could make it to Felico's - YAY! Barry called me at 8:35 AM to confirm the time that he'd be picking me up, and 10:15 sounded fine to me. Then Dr. Wise's office called me at 9:05 AM to say that they had "a situation" come up and they'd have to reschedule either today or Monday at the latest. Ugh, fine - make me drink coffee for no reason! :P

The office called me again at 9:45 AM (that was fast!) to reschedule, so I brought up my ride situation, but October 19 at 11 AM should tentatively work. I then called Barry to see if it would since he's going to Japan; since he didn't have his appointment book with him at that moment, he called me back at 10:05 to say that yes, it would. Then I called the doctor's office back to confirm things. Phew, now I can hopefully relax and take Neo-Citran when I feel less awake from the coffee!


Edit at 12: I told Jimmy about finding out that "the situation" was a carjacking downtown, and he tried making me laugh by saying "Car-jacking off." NOT FUNNY IN THIS CONTEXT, BABE! Totally inappropriate, like his Goodwill thrift store "gaylord" slang for a full forklift of donations!

At 9 AM, I called the nearby medical clinic to see when their walk-in hours are; they'd changed them in the months since I'd been there last. Now they're on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 1:30, and are by appointment only; I can live with that for now, so I made one for tomorrow. (I could have had this hearing issue fixed on FRIDAY?!) I went out at 9:45 and promptly just missed a 401 - UGH! Thank goodness that White Spot was still serving breakfast when I finally got there at about 10:15 or so on a 407. I had a Cheesesteak Hash Eggs Benedict, combining National Eggs Benedict Day AND Day of the Mushroom! Then I got unexpectedly on-sale [judging by the receipt] Softsoap body wash x3 (Coconut Oil and Lavender / Honey Creme and Lavender / Blooming Jasmine and Plum) and Excel Polar Ice gum x3 (my old gum got soft and yucky within 1.5 months instead of two-ish...) at Shoppers Drug Mart before walking to London Drugs to get Crunchy Mint / Crunchy Raspberry / Crunchy Espresso M and Ms for Harmony on Thursday. I got home at 11:35 on a 407, then showered and did laundry.
