I got on-sale Sunlight Morning Fresh 64-load laundry detergent, on-sale Kellogg's All-Bran Buds, GOOD TASTE and JOY dumplings x5 (Pork and Celery / Lamb and Onion / Pork and Tri-Treasure / Pork and Vegetable / Pork and Chive), Earth's Own almond milk, on-sale Knorr Sidekicks x5, Kozy Shack tapioca pudding, Dentyne Ice spearmint gum x3, MyKuali Penang White Curry noodles, Shin Ramyun Noodles black noodles (Paulo can try one pack), and a Samyang Fire Noodles 2X Spicy pack so Paulo can try one.

Also bought Vedan Bah Kut tea noodles, on-sale Six fortune straw mushrooms x4, Stouffer's Homestyle Beef Pot Roast, bananas, Ibumie Penang White Curry Mee noodles, NEW Breyers Natural Vanilla Bean ice cream for next month, NEW Maeda-en Gourmet mango sorbet mochi, NEW on-sale Activia yogurt x2 (cherry / blueberry), on-sale Kraft Dinner x2 (Alphabet Shapes / Smart Vegetables), and a Canada Dry ginger ale FridgeMate since I just finished my existing Canada Dry ginger ale before it expired on July 8. Got a "spend $50 and save $10" coupon good from June 27 to July 17, too! Maybe I can get Chinese Eric to help with that, so I texted him since we could be hanging out next month for a BC Lions / Edmonton Eskimos CFL game. After getting home at 12:45, I paid my Shaw and hydro bills online at home before showering.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! HAPPY 2019!




I had to transit to King Edward Station to meet Dad there, so I left at 3:50, but had to walk back home because I realized I didn't have my bus pass. Turns out it was in the bathroom by the toilet because it fell out of my pocket! I then got to the station at 4:40, where Dad was already, but whatever. When I got to Jon and Harmony's, it was quiet hours because the baby was sleeping, but we talked to Steph on WhatsApp anyway. Mike and Sandy had been partying past midnight, haha! Ayler was practicing his handwriting and letters, while Hiero was busy punching some snow angels from a special hole punch.

We had ham, vegetables, chocolate cookies, my Loaded Potato Skins Ruffles chips, beer, and potatoes for dinner - they even invited Jeremy, and it was good to see him! He, Jon, and I talked about Origami Joe W. picking fights on Facebook (Jon says he did it on Karen's status about Conservatives to the point where Nancy had to step in to tell him to calm down!), the Reddit post about the rat in the soup at Crab Park Chowdery, Christmas / New Year's (r/wtf and r/vancouver and r/frugaljerk), and Twelve Kings pub with Eric Ho. I got to read about trains to Hiero, talk to Ayler for a bit, then play with baby Beckett, who tried eating his sock / my finger / his indestructible baby book.

Baby Beckett turned over to pick a toy up, which earned him praise from me! I also held him briefly before Dad took him from me. At least they drove me home, but ALSO gave me literal garbage to take to my place! I'm VERY sure the snack wrapper would have survived 45 minutes more in the centre console... never mind the FOUR POUNDS of Rockets, Carnaby tub of Halloween candy (another pound), and random white bra they gave me!

From my UNCLE JOHN'S ACTUAL AND FACTUAL Bathroom Reader #31: The head chef for the Norwegian Olympic team was named Stale Johansen?! Luckily, they were able to return the 13,500 unwanted eggs!

Jeremy emailed me to say that he could make it to Felico's - YAY! Barry called me at 8:35 AM to confirm the time that he'd be picking me up, and 10:15 sounded fine to me. Then Dr. Wise's office called me at 9:05 AM to say that they had "a situation" come up and they'd have to reschedule either today or Monday at the latest. Ugh, fine - make me drink coffee for no reason! :P

The office called me again at 9:45 AM (that was fast!) to reschedule, so I brought up my ride situation, but October 19 at 11 AM should tentatively work. I then called Barry to see if it would since he's going to Japan; since he didn't have his appointment book with him at that moment, he called me back at 10:05 to say that yes, it would. Then I called the doctor's office back to confirm things. Phew, now I can hopefully relax and take Neo-Citran when I feel less awake from the coffee!


Edit at 12: I told Jimmy about finding out that "the situation" was a carjacking downtown, and he tried making me laugh by saying "Car-jacking off." NOT FUNNY IN THIS CONTEXT, BABE! Totally inappropriate, like his Goodwill thrift store "gaylord" slang for a full forklift of donations!

It's probably better than moisturizer for my lips, which I tried at the store! Then we went to both banks. Facebook also thinks I had suspicious activity on my account, so forced me to change my password AGAIN just now. Newsflash: ALL the status updates, LIKED pages, and comments were MINE! At least I remembered my banking access code properly so I could pay my Shaw and hydro bills here at the library!
