I went out at 12:30 on a 401 to London Drugs so I could get some NEW on-sale purple Dentyne Midnight Mint gum / a MARTEX bath towel / on-sale oversized Angel Oak towels x2 / on-sale Grand Patrician 400 thread count standard pillowcases x2 / Pine-Sol cleaning formula x2 in Spring Blossom and Lavender Clean scents. The toilet paper section was all sold out! I got home at 2, thanks to a patient 407 driver who waited for me to get my Asian old lady shopping cart safely on the bus (damn corners!) and off as well.

Deb texted me a link to Pastor Dan's online sermon on Youtube today, which was actually comforting. Then Eric guessed what I was doing correctly - WOW! Frances texted me to see whether I was comfortable with going out with her in this coronavirus pandemic stage since she's a healthcare worker - I'm fine with that, but we'll see what the governmental guidelines are! Steph and Lisa are probably cancelling their Vancouver trip, too.

Then I went out with my shopping cart again at 6:30 on a 407 to Shoppers Drug Mart after checking the London Drugs website to find soup sold out: I found President's Choice macaroni and cheese for $5 off (SALE!), so I got two, plus a can of Six Fortune straw mushrooms / a can of President's Choice Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup / 14 cans of Campbell's Ready-To-Serve soup at $2 each. Herbed Chicken with Rice, Hearty Vegetable Beef, and Classic Chicken Noodle Soup! Got home at 7:40 on another 407, which is fine by me since I had to launder my four new replacement towels and two replacement pillowcases. Everything came out dry, as I thought it would! MORE LAUNDRY!

I got dryer sheets (Mountain Rain 120 - August 22, 2018), NEW on-sale original I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, lots of on-sale Western Family items (chips x9 / pudding cups x3 / frozen vegetables / ammonia x2 / pure white vinegar / macaroni / fusilli / penne rigate / orzo / Mountain Rain laundry detergent / perogies x2 / dish detergent x3 / roasted garlic chicken tortellini / Swiss 72% dark chocolate), on-sale GOOD TASTE dumplings x3, store brand white grape juice, store brand cranberry-black cherry juice, on-sale Gizella Pastry mango cheesecake, on-sale Samyang Fire Noodles in Curry flavor x2, bananas, on-sale Silk Canada almond milk, store brand ibuprofen, and store brand Key Lime cookie bites! Original, barbecue, sweet chili and sour cream, sour cream and onion, ketchup, sea salt and malt vinegar, sriracha, mesquite barbecue, and jalapeno cheddar chips! After that, I paid my Shaw bill online when I got home at 1:10... but I had to create a NEW password and new two-factor authentication OUT OF MY ASS! Ugh, too frustrating! At least Barry helped me put the wheels on my new shopping cart...

I got "free" store brand bottled water x12 thanks to it being on the bottom of the shopping cart, bananas, two $2-off Carlton Cards birthday cards with a coupon, NEW on-sale Earth's Own oat milk, on-sale Earth's Own almond milk, red / blue / black Sharpies x6, on-sale Campbell's soup x5 (New England Clam Chowder x4 and Baked Potato with Bacon), on-sale Olympic Dairy yogurt x2 (Strawberry and French Vanilla), on-sale Knorr Sidekicks x8 (Garlic Butter with Lemon / Creamy Chicken Fusilli x2 / Honey Garlic Noodles / Teriyaki Noodles / White Cheddar with Broccoli / Homestyle Cheddar / Three-Cheese), Stouffer’s Sauté Sensation microwaveable meals x2 (Grilled Chicken Teriyaki / Country Beef Pot Roast), on-sale Uncle Ben's rice x3 (Smokey Beans / Cilantro and Lime / Tomato and Herb), and Kung Tak Lam vegetarian mushroom noodles.

After that, I paid my Shaw bill online at home.

After Barry dropped me off at Oakridge at 10:35 AM, I bought NEW Taki's Fuego Mexican snacks / NEW Taki's Xplosion Mexican snacks / NEW Taki's Angry Burger Mexican snacks / NEW Taki's Crunchy Fajitas Mexican snacks / NEW Peace Tea Peach Party iced tea / NEW Mini Rolos as a treat after my eye exam / NEW Take Home Size Maltesers at the Oakridge Safeway. I also had a NEW Korean Pulled Pork six-inch sandwich at the Subway in the food court since I was right there anyway and needed to eat. Then I returned the chocolate - TOO HOT AND IT WOULD MELT IN FIVE MINUTES!

Later at Oakridge Station, some guy practically threatened to sue me over incidental contact with my bulky reusable bag. This city, I swear. Just because you wanted to get by after maneuvering your bike into the elevator does NOT mean you get ALL THE SPACE EVER! I wasn't even in his way! That wasn't even the first person who had a problem with my reusable bag, as there was some lady on a crowded Canada Line train who said "You're excused" after I entered the train at 49th and got a seat.

When I got to Jon and Harmony's at 2:10, the door was open since it was still pretty hot, so I just got to invade the living space. The kids greeted me with "YOU BREAK IT - YOU FIX IT!" but calmed down and told me that they'd gone to Granville Island today. We heard about a Canada Line emergency - thank goodness that it didn't affect me, only Olympic Village to King Edward! (it did affect Jon coming home from teaching) The skating lesson went fine - I told Harmony that no, I didn't have to pay anything for the eye ultrasound or cataract surgery!

Hiero told me that he didn't like it when I farted - he just likes his own farts. Okay, then! We had pizza, more laksa, blueberries, and corn on the cob for dinner after I read some more Robert Munsch stories. I got to hold a content baby Beckett for a while (and show him a few books) when Jon was finishing up with his piano student Curtis, but the baby started crying almost as soon as Curtis left! (before, I told Curtis to "quick - play some music!" when Beckett started fussing at the start of the lesson) I went through the Translink route map with the kids when Harmony grew tired of it, and left at 7:30, just managing to get a 49 before getting home at 8:10 on a 401. I was NOT waiting 20 minutes in the muggy heat!

After DOUBLE COFFEE TIME, finishing my Chicken pasta Sidekicks which expired on April 10, and finishing both of my grape Gatorade bottles which expired TOMORROW (1.2 litres with lots of peeing!), I left at 4 to meet Jon's family at the Oakridge Safeway at 4:45, but of course they were late. Jon says that they have a van now - SWEET! We went to Golden Spring Restaurant for Mother's Day / Mom's 70th birthday. Ayler tried grabbing my hat, but I said no. Later, he said that he could stay up later if he had energy - yeah, that sounds about right.

Harmony decided to enforce her "no screens" rule on the entire front room of Golden Spring Restaurant (which turned out to be right near the old VCEFC) because Hiero always wanted to see what was on the TV - you couldn't even HEAR it! I had to put up with Auntie Teresa, but at least Auntie Eva dropped me off at King Edward station later. Lamb, (boneless) rock cod, celery, green beans with beef, crispy chicken, rice with eggs and scallops, onions, Chinese root soup, red bean soup, and "Bring Your Own Dessert" New Zealand Manuka honey chocolate! 12 rolls of Western Family toilet paper, a floral sweater vest, and $5 cash! I got home at 8:25 after opting for a leisurely walk home from Brighouse Station. Now I think it's time to relax with Jimmy, as per usual. :D

Also got on-sale Arm and Hammer toothpaste, on-sale Sidekicks x6 (Garlic Butter and Lemon / Tomato Alfredo / Three Cheese / Creamy Bacon Carbonara / Homestyle Cheddar / Mexican Rice), GOOD TASTE dumplings (pork and celery / beef and vegetables / cabbage and chicken), bananas, frozen vegetables, Cheemo three-cheese perogies, Campbell's Italian Wedding soup, Campbell's Tomato Garden Vegetable soup, on-sale Lipton Tomato Garden Vegetable soup, on-sale Lipton chicken noodle soup, store brand bottled water x12, sriracha sauce, Marie Callendar's Three-Meat Marinara, and Stouffer's Saute Sensations Homestyle Pot Roast as a backup plan for Christmas. When I got home at 1:55, I paid my Shaw and hydro bills online. At least most of the snow has melted here!
