Did laundry today. Had to take someone else's load out of the dryer so I could start mine on time. Came back to a printed note: "Please don't grab my stuff out of the dryer when I'm five minutes late!" Well, maybe you should be ON TIME since other people need to use the coin dryer, you selfish hypocrite! How should *I* know it's "only" been five minutes?! I know who it is, too - the same GROWN WOMAN who had a problem with my putting bleach in her load when she wasn't on time in retrieving her clothes from the dryer. I don't care if she had to wait an hour to refold or re-dry her clothes in that case - she's so entitled! At least MY clothes were dry because *I* don't overload the machines!

Vanessa wanted to get together yesterday for lunch at Mama's Dumplings, but I fobbed her off until Tuesday (when she'll have Cassidy) with an excuse once she wanted me to bus to Coppersmith Place: the Canucks-Sabres game at 1 AND my broken suitcase! She actually messaged me at 12:30 today to say that she's trying not to eat out much, and she has to have dinner with her mom and brothers (who won't be in town for Christmas) on Tuesday, so I got the hint there that she can't make it for this Tuesday. At least this makes my Tuesday much less hectic! PHEW!

Eric M. is still working on the 19th, so can't take me to the airport. He did help me via text message: Apparently, I should leave on the 9:07 407 that morning since domestic flights only need you to be an hour early, but I should perhaps be even earlier. I told him that I might as well build in time to get lost... No, not his suggestion of 8:45 PM the night before - that is even earlier than the anal people who show up to things an hour early and then blame a "late" you for being normal and on time because they’ve been waiting for an hour! Not sure what I'll do for breakfast on the day besides Starbucks coffee bottles - I'll definitely have to remember to shut down my computer and everything else! Actually, I just texted Deb and she says she happens to be off on the 19th, so can give me a ride in the morning - YAY!

The Canucks played Edmonton tonight at 7 in their first game of the 2019-2020 NHL season, and lost 3-2. Chinese Eric texted me yesterday afternoon wanting to come over today at 4 after lunch and errands, so I resigned myself to a lot of talking and said yes, getting the parking pass ready. I did have to give him the strawberry / original / mango / banana / peach / melon / apple Milkis cans, after all, and could also use him to pick up a carton of almond milk that I forgot last week at the store. He came by at 4 after COFFEE TIME and SHOWER TIME, wanting to watch the Leafs game, but also picked up a carton of almond-coconut milk from the store instead of the almond milk I wanted, saying that I'd failed to specify. IF I WANTED NASTY COCONUT MILK (WHICH I DON'T), I'D HAVE SAID SO! We did try the Dr. Oetker salted caramel cheesecake, which was okay. Then he said that printing out the Canucks schedule was a waste of paper - he should have seen how much paper I wasted on things which weren't perfect to me! Besides, it works for me when I want to plan stuff during the hockey season - SO THERE!

He left at 5 to exchange the milk at Price Smart... GOOD! By that time, I'd composed the email to him / white Eric / Jeremy (who'd thanked me for my "Happy Birthday" email earlier) / Jon / Christon / Randal about his proposed 12 Kings hangout on October 22 to watch the Raptors championship banner unveiling after we figured out WHY their first preseason game was at 3 AM. (it's in Tokyo...) We had Western Family 8-vegetable lasagna with multigrain pasta for dinner: Carrots / green and red Bell peppers / spinach / zucchini / cauliflower / broccoli / black olives! Also talked about his seeing Corey Hirsch at the art gallery, the Leafs-Senators game (Toronto won 5-3), bottled water, his doing the dishes, live-action remakes of things like ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS and ALADDIN, "you know" all the time (FILLER ANNOYANCE!), McDonalds / Tim Horton's hockey cards, that Grow-A-Husband, my guestbook, the SIMPSONS, Channel 22 highlights, and more. Then he finally left soon after the game ended, at 9:40. Now it's time for video game music to relax!

After COFFEE TIME and a phone call from Uncle Andrew's office to reschedule my appointment tomorrow till next Friday (so I had time to take a shower for today AND revise my blog drafts), I left at 2:30 on a 401 for my appointment at 3 with King-Lok at Touchstone. Buswell was hard to find! Now I know it's behind Saba and pretty near the Richmond Public Market and has a red awning, thanks to the Chinese guys at a nearby business. The appointment went okay, but I didn't know I'd have to score everything afterwards. I was 15 minutes late, which is a great impression to make, but in my defense, I was busy trying to find the place! Yes, it was a largely understanding and respectful experience.

I then went to Captain Wa in the Richmond Public Market for an order of $2 vegetable spring rolls, and walked to London Drugs for Softsoap x2 since I was running out with no backup! Got Juicy Melon and Cucumber plus Vanilla Brown Sugar, and was home at 5 on a 407. Marietta saw me borrowing the medical building's wi-fi and said hi, so I greeted her back, of course. I also decided to email Rachel an update just because. I'll call Dr. Kirker's retina specialist office again tomorrow for that legally-required referral, and just sent Jon a message about next week's availability even if they're probably in Seattle by now.

I went out to London Drugs at 12:15 on a 414 (just missing the 401) to get Gillett bar mop towels x4 (I haven't bought them since January 2017?!), on-sale $2 Arm and Hammer All-in-One Complete Care Whitening Gel Toothpaste baking soda toothpaste with gel, on-sale Seventh Generation dish detergent (Free and Clear / Lemon), and on-sale Palmolive dish detergent (Green Apple and White Lily!) - I got home at 1:05 on a 401. The Canucks played the Hurricanes at 7:30 tonight, and lost 5-2.... UGH! I also showered tonight.
