COFFEE TIME! I showered and did laundry today, like the red dragon hoodie with white flecks from Steph's laundry detergent OR leaving it in the washing machine for days, AND Jon's socks which Harmony loaned me - the hoodie now looks awesome again, thanks to white vinegar! I called Chrystal at work at 3:15, and 7:30 on the 24th sounds like a great time to catch her up on my trip! The Canucks played the Panthers today at 4, and lost 5-2. Eric can give me a ride to church and UBC on the 19th for Hiero's party, thank goodness! His hockey is at UBC, so I'm glad I remembered that little detail. Rishu also wants to reschedule tomorrow's appointment since she's sick - fine by me, since I don't particularly feel like busing in the potential snow!

Discovered extra money in my bank account this morning, and updated Harmony and Deb on things via email, also calling Barry at 8:40 AM to let him know about the NOON appointment time on the 11th. Luckily, he can drive me! I left at 11:10 to perforce go to Dr. Wise's clinic on 1200 Burrard by myself... ugh! I went to Yaletown-Roundhouse station (where I'd met Jeremy a long time ago for the Jazz Festival) and luckily found the 6 Davie Bay 1 bus stop across the street, a couple minutes before the bus arrived. A little girl asked me what happened with my keloid scars, so I told her that it was a birthmark. Good enough!

At least the eye measurement test was relatively quick (and I got there at about 12:10), and I could just wait for Dr. O'Donnell's opinion rather than wait for Dr. Wise to call her assistant back. I left at 12:40 or so, and didn't really have to wait for the 6 Downtown going back to Yaletown-Roundhouse, thanks to the helpful Davie bus driver telling me where the bus stop was and all that.

Since I had to wait ten minutes for the 407 from Brighouse anyway, I bought even more on-sale $5 Stouffer's Sauté Sensations Chicken Alfredo microwaveable meals x4 (the sale goes till the 11th, when I might not be in suitable shape to go again) from Shoppers. When I got home at 1:35, I also bought $2 Essentiel hand sanitizer x2 from the pharmacy next door. Adam was fine with things and reminded me to ask about the eyedrops tomorrow at the hospital. Well, I apparently have to bring them in with me, so I've already prepared a Ziploc bag for that.

I called Dad to say I was home and things were fine. He tried joking about leaving me to take the bus - NO, THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT AN OPTION! Mom then called me right after to say she had made dinner for me tomorrow (which means that I can take it home and microwave it... NOT GO OUT WITH HER - PHEW!) and to say they'd be at Mount St. Joseph's at 1:45 tomorrow to support me on the way out and home to Richmond. Okay, GOOD! Then I had some whiskey and noodles... I'll eat up a storm till midnight-ish, and shower tomorrow morning, I guess!

A sick Jon asked me this morning if I still wanted to make it to his place since his student had cancelled yet another Monday lesson (which I did), and then wanted to know if I could make it on Thursday from 3:30-4:30 since Harmony is working then instead of next Monday because she wants to spend time with Hiero on his actual birthday. Sure, I guess so! BYE WEEK, AHOY! After (MORE) COFFEE TIME, I left at 3:30 to make it to Jon's at 4-ish. The kids were eating and playing with puzzles, but seemed excited about school and new stickers. Ayler had drawn a purple house with lots and lots of floors, Hiero wanted to read a book with lots of flaps with me, Ayler asked a lot of questions about math and why Keith was sick ("he can't be sick in the summer!"), Ayler asked if he could have my fruity beer (NO!), and Ayler practiced his writing and told me that I should know better how to write because I'm an adult. I also passed that message on to Steph, haha.

Ayler asked whether people had gone to heaven if they were born in 1961 or 1948 (or 1914 or 1918) / whether people were still alive if they were born in 462 A.D. or 1018, Hiero loved his bulldozer, and we had gummy cars / curry stew / dumplings / sausage / (coconut) water for dinner. Randal had apparently cancelled too, maybe because of his dad. More playtime for me! Ayler wanted to take my hat off - I said no, which doesn't mean that he gets to say yes! We also talked about seeing his special Gr. 3 buddy Ethan on Thursdays depending on the class schedule, eating old marshmallows from a school craft (NO!), San Francisco in March, falling asleep on the bus, being tired, "Baby Baloo," Hillcrest, the pizza dinner on Sunday, seeing them again on Thursday, and my not staying later than 7 because I had to do some shopping before I got home.

Then I went to London Drugs for a Hilroy notebook since some paper towel got on the whiteout on the cover, a bubble mailer envelope, some hand sanitizer x2 (one of which will have to be returned because I can't figure out how to open it...), desperately-needed Softsoap hand soap refills x2 (juicy cucumber and crisp melon / vanilla brown sugar), and desperately-needed Silk almond milk. No thanks to the cashier commenting on EVERYTHING ("this is so heavy! why did you buy this?!"), I barely made it out the door in plenty of time to catch the 407 and get home at 8:30. Ugh!

COFFEE TIME! The Canucks played Washington at 4 today, and lost 3-1, with a controversial goal which involved someone being crashed into the net. WHAT THE. I was also surprised that I am now a mod in Dave's Discord server. Not sure how I didn't notice that BRIGHT PINK / HOT PINK screen name color change before my discussion this afternoon with Erik about PMs and my roles. "Wait - I shouldn't be able to kick you..." "You're a moderator." "WHAAAAAT?!" No, Dave didn't tell me about it, but that's more than fine! I know why it happened now, though.
