It was COFFEE TIME today! I went out at 11:15 AM to Shoppers and London Drugs in the cold weather before the snow might hit later! I bought bulk pads x2 / on-sale Nescafe coffee in a tall canister / Webber Naturals Vitamin D3 gummies x2 (a bottle of 90 is CHEAPER than a half-price Jamison bottle of 60 at Shoppers Drug Mart?! -- but chewables have 180 for the same price...) / a Ragusa Noir chocolate bar / Niederegger Lubeck orange and classic marzipan bars x2 for National Marzipan Day from London Drugs. Also got on-sale Lipton Cup-A-Soup x9 (Spring Vegetable / Chicken Noodle / Chicken Noodle Supreme), NEW on-sale Lindt Creations dark 34% hazelnut and dark 31% almond chocolate bars, NEW Central Roast Crave mocha spice espresso beans, and an After Eight chocolate bar before getting home at 12:25 on a 407. The Canucks played Minnesota today at 1, and won 4-1.

Quvenzhané, Qulyndreia, Venjie, Qunquekya, Vejon, and Venjie Wallis?!

I discovered REDRUM this morning, but still took a shower to help me feel better. After COFFEE TIME, I discovered a TOILET PLUMBING PROBLEM: IT WOULDN'T FLUSH PROPERLY! I left a note with Hester to cover my ass AND called her about it, but then I had to leave since I had no time to play phone tag! I went out at 2:55 on a 407 to help with the kids. Even after being at Marine Drive to see a 3 Downtown pull up to the stop, I wasn't even at Jon's any earlier than I was last week! Thanks, strollers and walkers which got on AND off before I left the bus at 16th! /sarcasm Yes, of course they're obviously entitled to use the bus (as are wheelchairs) - I was just glad I left a few minutes earlier than I did last week.

Beckett was sleeping when I got there; Ayler and Hiero were playing that Emoji Memory card game that I bought, so I got an answer to the question I asked Jon about what they do when the baby is supposed to be sleeping. Otherwise, I'd have asked the kids myself. Hiero tried making up his own rules: "No touching cards that other people have touched!" (which is totally nonsense for a MEMORY CARD game) and how you can shoot people who are already dead. I said those weren't fair! (they won the game and I lost - whatever) Ayler was sick because of some heatstroke at the Langley berry farm yesterday. We had a dinner of various things: macaroni and cheese, ribs, pizza, cold noodles, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, and more. Discussed power-washing balconies, Hiero spilling almond milk on the floor and my black Secret socks (I had fun telling them that I can make up my own rules too, like I can pause dinner to put on their dad's holey socks and wash my hands), some salad Mom gave them which expires today (I didn't want it to take home - so Harma tossed it), and how we shouldn't shoot people at the dinner table.

Beckett ate a bit of stuff, but was pretty much done fairly soon into his "meal." I had fun hanging out with him afterwards, though, even if he threw balls all over the place. He has new colorful soft ones, which are probably better for the downstairs neighbors complaining about everything. He seemed to like the new penguin, at least. I let him climb on me because it's cute, but watched to make sure he didn't fall off the couch or anything. The balcony is effectively closed off to him because of a rather interesting arrangement of chairs and other things. PHEW! I think he had fun chewing on his Christmas board books, too.

I left at 8 after doing some STAR WARS STORMTROOPERS summer reading with the kids, after Hiero had to go to a separate room because he was hugging a whimpering Beckett, and after I had grabbed Beckett before he got to the kids' jigsaw puzzle / after he invaded the washroom while Hiero was in the shower. I sent Mike a quick message ("thanks for the great fish head idea, Uncle Mike - says Nephew") using the Save-On wi-fi at the bus stop - thank goodness I didn't just miss the 3 Marine Drive bus! The bus driver didn't create a delay this time, but instead it was an old guy who was slow in even using his wheelchair to get on AND off the bus! Yup, he is totally entitled to use the buses (and it could be me one day), but be reasonably fast about it - come on now, other people have connections to make!

At the station, I quickly went to T&T to look for (and get) some quirky Lays chips for Rachel - Numb and Spicy Hot Pot, Wasabi, and Kimchi! I should get the Deep-Ridged ones next time: Spicy Chicken and Pork! Thank goodness I managed to get the Brighouse train home within two minutes of getting to the train area, and I FINALLY got home at 9! Thanks to the delays, I was able to text both Paulo and both Erics in detail. The toilet STILL wasn't fixed, so I had to consult V4F and then use buckets for filling up the tank. Sigh... I guess I'll have to call Hester tomorrow morning. No melatonin tonight...

From Julie: TOOT BOOK, also by Leslie Patricelli, so I bet it's a companion book to the POTTY one which I saw at London Drugs in September / last month!

After COFFEE TIME, I went out at 2 on a C94 to the Caring Place for my appointment with Rachel. Time to re-evaluate certain things with Jimmy for MYSELF, definitely! I got the 410 on time, and just managed to get the 407, so after a brief #2 break, I was home at 4:10!

From Julie: ROOK was a contestant on FAMILY FEUD?! That makes me think of chess!

Lucas, Kumatora, and Boney are in MOTHER 3's Saturn Valley to get Duster back into their party. A rescued Mr. Saturn gives them a Silver Dragonfly instead of a bow tie. "Children love to chase this dragonfly with the beautiful sky-blue underside." I prefer to store this unique item with the Item Guy. :D

I went out early (for me) at 11 on a 407 to London Drugs so I could get an on-sale tall Nescafé coffee canister (December 23, 2016), on-sale De Cecco pasta (farfalle and rigatoni), on-sale Munchies Snack Mix with my last 50¢ (50 cents) off coupon, a Terry's Chocolate Orange / an on-sale Cadbury dark milk chocolate bar / on-sale Ragusa Noir chocolate bar / an on-sale big Jersey Milk chocolate bar for Eric Ho, another on-sale Ragusa Noir bar for myself, on-sale Vancouver Canucks Upper Deck candy fan bags with lollipops / mints / hockey cards x3 (one for me and one for Eric Ho - the other one to be determined - possibly Jimmy's when he gets here in May 2018), on-sale Paterson's Scottish shortbread fingers, Dawn Ultra orange dish detergent, NEW Nongshim SOON Veggie noodles, and NEW on-sale Hershey's COOKIE + Vanilla Creme / COOKIE + Caramel milk chocolate bars. Then it was COFFEE TIME when I got home at 11:45 on another 407.

I found a huge (and somewhat damp) box right by my door. Whatever - at least I don't have to go to the "nearest" Canada Post outlet to pick it up... Oh hey, it's Christmas stuff from Julie! A Peanuts Christmas card, CHRISTMAS HOUSE erasers, Snugadoo Too Super Soft purple striped socks and a red toque, two CHRISTMAS HOUSE jingly necklaces, Hot Tamales Fierce cinnamon jellybeans (better not let the kids have any...), bite-size Tootsie Rolls in a bank, 12 CHRISTMAS HOUSE pencils, CHRISTMAS stickers, and a Christmas memo book with pen!

From Reddit on October 31, 2017: NESTING PARTNER?! I know that LDRs are a thing, but just say that it's the person whom you live with! Also, SearedScallops seems to be involved in more than one relationship at a time. What?!

From Reddit on November 1, 2017: While I can say that ableism does exist because I am a disabled person myself, "creepy" is NOT an ableist term!

And another one because they can fit into the same screenshot when I collapse a bunch of comments...

From Reddit on November 1, 2017: Also, "heavy breathing" is NOT fatphobia! It's the implication that the person is sexually aroused, not that they can't go anywhere without having to catch their breath because they're morbidly obese! Wait - these comments both come from Listen_Up_Slapnuts! That explains something...

After three years, I finally added Witwur Bob Robinson as a Facebook friend, and he added me back, so that's a good thing! But Willem unfriended me, which I guess is fine.

From Julie: NACOLE?! That should be spelled NICOLE! Geez, and I thought Nichole was bad enough... this just makes me think of nachos or Cole Porter or something

In FINAL FANTASY IV for Steam and the DS, the party (Cecil / Cid / Tellah / Yang) come across the Troia pub and go upstairs. They see this guy outside a hostess room. "How dare that greasy old greybeard try to take my Jenyfer!" In the GBA / Playstation versions, it was Jenny!

In the FINAL FANTASY IV fan translation for the SNES, the party (Cecil / Cid / Tellah / Yang) come across the Troia pub and go upstairs. They see this hostess girl inside one of the rooms, "Give me a guy with no chest hair next time." What?! HAHAHA!

I went out at 1:10 to London Drugs so I could mail a card and stickers to Fraser EARLY for his second birthday, and bought a small Jersey Milk chocolate bar / Ragusa Noir dark chocolate bars x2 for me and Eric Ho / on-sale Lindt Fudge Swirl chocolate truffles. When I got home, the Internet STILL was spotty and not working, so I had to call up Shaw AGAIN to see what was going on with that. The girl recommended I go to the Richmond Centre Shaw store and pick up a free Wi-Fi router / modem instead of waiting for it to be mailed, so I did that at 3.

I also dropped by Shoppers Drug Mart to see what else they had for sale: I saved $12 on Stouffer's Sauté Sensations! Thai Chicken, Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Alfredo, and Chicken Parmigiana... yay for working freezers! Then I got home and called Shaw again, getting an East Indian person in Winnipeg instead. He eventually set up an appointment on Friday between 12 and 2 for a technician to come out, but also put me on a priority line because I technically had no service. At 6:15, I went on a useless time-wasting trip to Brighouse Library because I couldn't remember any passwords! After I walked home, I played more FINAL FANTASY V SPOOF from when I continued it earlier in the afternoon.
