After COFFEE TIME, I left at 12:35 on a 407 for my dentist appointment with Sean on FRASER instead of Oakridge - sigh. I had to leave myself plenty of time for getting lost (seeing Krista at Gilbert and Westminster - "Ontario is a magical place because I've never been there"?!), and had to take a 99 at Broadway / Cambie, and then an 8 Fraser bus around the corner at Fraser till I got to 19th, right across from Glad Tidings church. I would have been there earlier than half an hour early if SOME PEOPLE hadn't hesitated for 45 microseconds at the Brighouse station elevator - BE EFFICIENT AND NOT SLOW WHEN OTHERS ARE PLAINLY WAITING FOR YOU AT THE DOOR! The new location has more space and okay enough wifi, plus actual hooks for your coats and things! I had to have an X-ray, but it's not my fault that my mouth is SMALL! Learned that Sean is getting married in July, too! I have to wait till July to try The Pie Hole across the street because I got fluoride as part of my treatment today. Also got a receipt where the insurance paid 100%, but for some reason, I'm keeping it for now.

Went to the Broadway London Drugs to buy an on-sale Creature Chumper with 1500 Zorbees for Hiero's birthday, on-sale Stemnex 4D Transforming Robots for Ayler's birthday, on-sale Nescafé Taster's Choice instant coffee in a 250g canister, and on-sale Andes candy cane Peppermint Crunch before going to Pho Extreme Xe Lua to have a large #17 and figure out the wi-fi from the nearby A&W. Some guy ahead of me was in a fucking hurry at the exit of London Drugs, saying "excuse me" - nope, we are both directly headed to the doors, so you will have to wait. I should have dawdled even more because he was an impatient ass! It's not like I dropped anything, after all. I also had to deal with THE most recalcitrant self-checkout machine! It wouldn't give me the correct start-up screen (thinking I had items to re-scan), wouldn't give me enough time to find a barcode, wouldn't let me scan something without a barcode (the coffee), and wouldn't let me pay without calling an attendant! UGH! SO TIME-CONSUMING!

Finally got home at 5:20, and saw Hester and Ni, so told them about the mouse / steel wool problem, which luckily I had a photo of on my phone! I did notice an odd metallic clanking sound coming from my bag, which turned out to be two of Beckett's red / white molecule balls from yesterday's throwing activities. No wonder I noticed him standing at my bag looking into it, but he does have plenty of balls, so he should be fine till next week. He did seem interested in the safety fluorescent slap bracelet, too. I'm also going to wash the socks that Harmony loaned me.

Large #17 at Pho Extreme Xe Lua! Steak, flank, tendon, tripe, and fatty flank!

Creature Chumper with 1500 Zorbees!

Stemnex 4D Transforming Robots!

After I had COFFEE TIME, Barry picked me up at 11:50 and we went banking and to Price Smart. I bought a NEW on-sale Caramilk chocolate bar and a half, NEW Triscuit dill / sea salt / olive oil crackers, NEW Triscuit Canada balsamic and basil crackers, NEW basil and garlic Triscuits crackers, Ottogi Jin Ramen in both spicy and mild flavors, NEW Western Family chicken and wild / brown rice soup, NEW Western Family chicken and rotini soup, NEW Western Family soy sauce x2 (regular and 50% less sodium), NEW DASANI water (after the soy sauce attacked me), a NEW HERSHEY'S Gold chocolate bar (peanuts and pretzels), Western Family 8-vegetable lasagna with multigrain pasta (carrots / green and red Bell peppers / spinach / zucchini / cauliflower / broccoli / black olives), on-sale Olympic Dairy organic plain yogurt.

Also bought bananas, on-sale Excel Gum in peppermint flavor x3, NEW Shirakiku Goku-Uma tonkotsu noodles, NEW on-sale STAGG Chili Canada Steak House chili, NEW Tim Hortons canned soup x3 (Cream of Broccoli / Chicken Noodle / Chicken Rice), on-sale MilkisPH Snoopy six-pack drinks x7 (milk and yogurt in a bottle / canned melon / canned apple / canned banana / canned mango / canned peach / canned original), Western Family prune nectar, on-sale NEW O'Tasty vegetable / pork / black mushroom dumplings or potstickers, Joy Chinese Dim Sum dumplings x4, and Silk Canada almond milk! After that, I paid my Shaw bill online at home.

Later, I tried to get Hester to give me some laundry tokens (March 26, 2019). She said that they were going out right now, but I could have some if I came by immediately. So I did, but she was STILL not impressed because I should have taken the "nearest" stairs so she wouldn't have to wait three minutes, which is apparently an inconvenience. Well, maybe she should work on the building's elevator which has been out of service for five weeks, and replacing the dryer which has been out of commission for three months! Then when I left her door, she said that I should take the "nearest" stairs - no, because I'd still have to walk down a long hallway regardless! I told her NO! I'm going to do what works best for me, and it's just TOO BAD if my disability and walking speed causes her to wait a few more minutes to leave the building since they haven't invented teleportation for real yet! The Canucks played the Senators again tonight at 7 in Preseason Game #7 (the penultimate!), and lost 6-2.

I saw a dog-related post in CRIME INC. on Facebook, so of course I asked why it was there. They deleted my CRIME-RELATED Youtube playlist of CRIMINALLY LISTED videos on the 13th, yet that dog post (and numerous other non-crime posts about people's work and personal lives) stays up?! If I'd known THAT was going to happen, I wouldn't have bothered being polite. I'd have said, "WHY THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT IN HERE?!" Seriously, people. WHY THE FUCK IS THE MODDING SO BLOODY INCONSISTENT?! I wouldn't be surprised if they were all personal friends or something! Now I wonder why the fuck Shelley is in the group. DO NOT JOIN THE GROUP!

From This Is True: Aaron Jerome Megatron?!

From Julie: JERALYNN and Jeremiah got married in Lancaster, Pennsylvania?! Wow, and I thought Warren Tam and Lauren Chan were bad for rhyming names back in 2002...

Sea creatures who will eat you, Transformers, Stanley Kubrick protagonists, elements )

Corey and I discussed Milo chocolate drinks (available here and in Malaysia, but not there?!), Tim Tams, hot chocolate, strawberry / chocolate NesQuik, and more hot drinks. He thinks that the Vancouver stoners offended Britney Spears - hahaha, I did hear about that, and think it amusing. Honestly, she can think what she wants, but man.

I got my first creep (Mark William Shaffran) in Wordscraper, who suggested highly inappropriate things regarding sex and drugs. I'm not a prude or sheltered or anything, but seriously! You don't tell me those things, especially in a GAME. Good thing the best revenge is WINNING, which I am doing by a handy margin in BOTH games he started. Thank goodness that I'll never play him again!

Poo nugget for Friday, Apr. 10: Where Beano Fails... - Chester Weimer received a patent in 1998 for airtight underwear that is lined with a charcoal filter. This garment supposedly lets you fart with impunity by absorbing the emitted noxious odors. Lest you decide to don this diaper and let loose in company, bear in mind that this device will do nothing to block out sounds. (I'm listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd's That Smell right now, so this is a quirky amusing coincidence!)
