After showering, THREE DRYER ROUNDS OF laundry (the elevator is STILL out for maintenance?!), COFFEE TIME, and checking Reddit Vancouver Discord chat, I went out across the street to meet Steveston Brian at the hospital's main entrance: BIG AND BLUE! We texted briefly (after I finally was able to traverse the crosswalk) and he got out of his Mazda - much better! Talked about family and other small talk topics, which was totally fine. We went to ICBC to pick up Darryl, and then talked about various online people until we finally found parking practically right in front of the pub.

Eventually, we found a big table at the back of the pub: school, various wings, shots, India Pale Ales, Guinness, ham parties, Naomi, JMan, (Australian) accents, Asian moms, and more. Soon after Brian drove me home (dropping everyone else off) at 8:40 through all the construction, I discovered the start of redrum - UGH! Now we're just talking to the others about our impressions of the meetup, #9 Restaurant, and more. I definitely needed the break yesterday, and I guess I'll have downtime till Monday! (or maybe Friday...)

I was up at 7:15 AM, so it was COFFEE TIME BY DEFAULT! Then I discovered that my bags of NEW Dutch Gourmet chips (Mozzarella and Jalapeno Cheddar) were expired when I bought them last week (June 12 and June 20), so I at least tried some of both flavors before throwing them out. Then I noticed that my dumplings and other things had melted ice all over them, and decided to write Hester a note before the long weekend (and left a message on Barry's voicemail) - when I got up to her suite, she was actually there, but figuring out laundry tokens for some dude. GOOD TIMING! She read the note, asked what "adjusting" meant (?!), and decided to go with me to my suite right then. While there, she saw the dumplings bag which I'd kept for proof, adjusted the numbers again on BOTH the fridge and freezer, told me not to touch them, said she'd probably be back tomorrow, and was surprised that there was a long weekend coming up at all. Right after she left, Barry called me back to see what was going on. He said to let him know what was up tomorrow, then.

In DRAGON WARRIOR II, the party goes to Midenhall Castle. The vizier tells them, "Thou art now as strong as an ox and twice as good-looking. That is very good." What the heck kind of "compliment" is this?!

After COFFEE AND ASPIRIN TIME, I went out at 3:30 for my dentist appointment at 4 with Sean, which went fine even if a few teeth seemed a bit sensitive. They even gave me free fluoride that my insurance didn't cover, plus an Oral-B toothbrush and Crest Pro-Health Advanced toothpaste! Then I got NEW Uncle Ben's Smokey Red Beans and Rice, on-sale Tostitos chips (low-sodium Rounds / regular Rounds / Gold), on-sale Mrs. Renfro's salsa x2 (Ghost Pepper x2), Crest Complete and Colgate toothpaste in tubes x3 (including Max Fresh x2 in Minty Sparkle with Bright Strips / Electric Mint Shockwave with Micro-Cooling Beads, plus Crest Whitening Outlast with Scope!), a Colgate toothbrush, and Tostitos Salsa Con Queso dip at the Oakridge Safeway. After a brief stop at the Oakridge Apple Store, I went home and got there at 6:10 on a 407. YAY FOR CAVITY DEFENSE TECHNOLOGY! Then I talked briefly to Vanessa via Facebook messages about Jason, lying, and smoking.
