Friends Only

This journal is friends-only.
To gain access beyond this portal: leave a comment here, even if you've added me first. Please state how you came across this journal. It's entirely up to my discretion who gets added, so play nice.
Once you're added, please explain your username and possibly provide a photo if you're comfortable with that! I don't discriminate on looks, believe me! It's just easier in a way to see online friends' faces, heh.
This is also the place to comment on my Rejected icons. You can find more pictures here. (which I really should show the friend who originally introduced me to the movie)
Story of the Rejected icons
I nicked this one off someone in March 2004. On 9 July 2004,

Ah,
So... since it's not Japanese, you sure you still want to add me? ;)

Date: 2004-05-10 11:23 pm (UTC)But yes, I still want to add you - the user image and the friends only animation alone justify that;)
I find Chinese interesting as well. And very many things actually - but I like a lot of oriental things. China has a close history with Japan of course - Japan's whole written language was derived from the Chinese one, and tugged and turned to the Japanese's wants.
Hehehehe, I can just laugh endlessly at that icon.. Ohh Don Hertzfield:)

Date: 2004-05-11 12:06 am (UTC)I don't know that much about it, although I feel as if I should, being Chinese myself. But hey.. plenty of time to learn.
All right, you've been added. Now, am I supposed to understand your bio? ;)
Heh.. your icon is cool, too. "113% hamster".. that reminds me of a nickname that one of my friends has for me. :D

Date: 2004-05-11 12:16 am (UTC)I hope you're not one of those who really despise Japan - I have a Chinese friend here in Iceland who's lived here since he was eight, and he lets me know very well how much he dislikes and looks down on Japan:P
Strange really, considering my interest in it. Guess I have some other attributes as well.
Now... my bio. There are a few things there:D Like my full nick-name, and one sentance, and then a bunch of lines that you don't need to understand, no.
That icon is from a flash movie that

Date: 2004-05-11 12:44 am (UTC)As for my journal, you'll probably find a lot of stuff about my life.. plus things that I find interesting. Could go all over the place, really.
Yeah, I was rather wondering about the lines.. but that's all right then.
Flipped-out moods are all right if they produce those kinds of results! You're welcome.. it rocks, and reminds me of my "hamsterette" days. :D

Date: 2004-05-11 02:55 am (UTC)I look forward to checking the journal:)
Mine is mostly a column for interesting speculations I have, or me pushing some stuff I like. Or perhaps just flipping out. I only have a few select entries friends only, most are public.
Hehehe... Hamsterette, eh? C'est un magnifique nom:P

Date: 2004-05-11 12:17 pm (UTC)I have a good reason for having mine friends-only, mainly due to certain people who I don't want reading it. Better to just try minimizing the drama and stuff, I think. :)
Yeah... my friend Graham called me that a few times because he had my "Flamsterette" nickname and hamsters on the brain for some reason! Very humorous dude.. :D
