It's NATIONAL GRAMMAR DAY today... MY FAVORITE! Aimee Vanderkarr tried adding one of my alteregos - DENIED!

I had a dream where the London Drugs was being changed into a Shoppers Drug Mart, complete with fences blocking off our access. Beckett came up to me and said, "Beckett comes here every day to eat junk food because it's good, Auntie." (WAY too complicated a sentence for him in his 21-month-old life!) London Drugs also had a great deal on Camelbak water bottles like Fraser's with dinosaurs, advertised as "a good way to get all your water - with a zipper bag for your bottle!" Cordia wanted some Halloween or Christmas Cheetos and shortbread snacks, but we confused her when she went to go through the maze of all the blue milk crates - she went RIGHT PAST all the Santa packs! WTF, subconscious?!

Jon said he'd be home this afternoon since Harmony would be going to a school meeting, but I could still come by if I wanted. The last time I was around when she went to a meeting, Beckett was quite upset! I went anyway, of course. After COFFEE TIME, I went out at 3:15 on a 407 to help with the kids. Since I'd just missed a 3 at Marine Drive, I went into Tim Horton's to see if they had those new Dream Doughnuts: no Strawberry Confetti, but yes to Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Truffle. They didn't look that great relative to the ads, but nothing ever does!

I had to wait for six rings before Harmony answered the buzzer, but that was fine. A few minutes later, I told Beckett that I would be right with him after I washed my hands... Wet Wipes only do so much against sticky doughnut crumbs! Harmony said "yes, please - thank you!" Hey, I've heard about the coronavirus too, and so has Ayler, apparently. He says he heard on the news today that the BC patient is in Burnaby ("so not here in Vancouver, but close"), while Hiero wondered what we'd do if Beckett died from it. You can get very sick and possibly die, we told them, but Harmony kept it simple and said that she'd keep them safe and we should all wash our hands.

Ayler and Hiero thought it was funny to encourage Beckett to go to the printer, and also to take Beckett's balls away from him, but he got way more upset over this than Harmony leaving for her meeting. ("MINE!" followed by lots of crying) I was there to give him hugs and a small kiss, telling them that it wasn't funny. Jon did come home a little earlier than 6, and took over dinner duties. Beckett called the Pho noodles "noo-noo," and called the treads on Grandma Joan's slipper socks "boh-boh" - very funny! Ayler asked about school, of course, and wanted me to listen to his piano. Beckett said "help" to me a lot (and wanted me to help put on the yellow "sunglasses" that were missing a lens - Hiero said they were pirate sunglasses), said "bye bye" to me a lot (maybe when I was walking to my bag and then to my coat so he could see the fur and buttons - but I didn't leave), and walked over to show Jon various things like his blocks.

Later, Beckett went to the window to see the "boh-boh" outside and point at all the lights. He also used the blue ruler to "hide" and wanted me to do the same with his toy balls - I just pretended to most of the time. Then he said "HIT YOUR BUTT!" in Cantonese - Uncle Joe taught him that one because it's funny to hear a little toddler say so! Hiero made a "lightsaber" out of a plastic sticker sheet, and a "gun" out of the magnetic rods and balls, and wanted me to say "gun" - I don't know about that one. He also 'teleported" into me, which was NOT fun!

Ayler took out his red-and-yellow stuffed dragon toy... he remembered that I'd given it to him! Beckett seemed to like it as per Hiero - he even said a very close approximation of "dragon" and grinned when he showed it to me! I should tell him that Auntie is a dragon, haha! He also said "monkey" for his stacking blocks, "dog" for his dog book, and "apple" for the Creation story with Adam and Eve in the children's Bible stories book. He's LEARNING VOCABULARY plus CONTEXT! I left at 7:40 (not at 7:30, thereby missing my window of time to get the 7:42 Marine Drive Station bus with the heavy bag of stuff from Mom and Dad) after waiting a few minutes for Jon to finish something while it was the bedtime routine, but not before Hiero called me a "blah blah person" - RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! I got home at 9:10 on a 407, having to finish a text message to Paulo first.

My parents are on a cruise and didn't let me know, so I wasted my time calling them to get their voicemail multiple times yesterday! Then Dad emailed me to say that they could call me from the shore at 8:30, but then emailed me again at 8 to say that they were still on the ship. Since I don't want to deal with stressful and inconvenient phone calls in the morning when I'm trying to shower and get out the door, I just PMed Brian about it instead since Paulo said he could be good for this sort of thing. To be fair, we had discussed it yesterday just in case. Thank goodness for friends since he agreed to do this for me! He doesn't even have to stay for the entire four hours! I also got to text Pothead Mike for the first time, so YAY! (and talked to Jon via FB Messenger for a bit about the surgery and other things)

DOUBLE COFFEE TIME! I was ready with Eric's Christmas 2018 Almond Roca when he called this morning at 8:55, which I dumped into the backseat when he mentioned Christmas as a reminder. I took an extra 30 seconds to talk to the security guard, who says that he doesn't know how long they'll be posted in the apartment lobby - then I apologized to Eric about it, who didn't say anything much beyond stuff about how he knows the building doesn't have sprinklers. (it would automatically detect fire and BURNING to call 911!) We got to church on time, and I settled into a pew with Myles, Brittney, and Naomi... I definitely hugged Pastor Dan hello and said hi to Joe! Mom and Dad stayed for ONLY the baby dedication, OF COURSE! I said hi to Uncle Joe and Auntie Wing Yee, and waved to Peter, Holly, Evander, Everett, Jon, Harmony, Ayler, Hiero, and Beckett.

After service, I said hi to Lesley / Frances C. (her mom and a possible get-together) / Eva (Harrison's mom - he's now FIFTEEN?!) / Margaret K. / Ivan W. (eye surgery and Sunday Dinner) / Auntie Esther / Harmony (eye surgery support) / Pastor Dan (eye surgery and Sharon being out of town) / Auntie Catherine (hug) / Auntie Cathy (hug) / Emily Y. (Joey in town often and non-profit work for Big Brothers) / Deb (eye surgery support) / Pastor Fulton / Lawrence / Derek C. / Adam L. / Billy (I have the same eyes?!) and Stella (Steph's family) / Rosenda / Sophia / Natalie / Jeff / Anita / Uncle Wayne and Auntie Susan. It was good to see people and say hi... Eric didn't even HAVE hockey because of some international thing going on in that arena, so I got a ride home from him, avoiding lunch with my parents! Of course Mom had my stuff before she and Dad go on a cruise to Cuba and visit Steph's family.

I made sure that I talked to Jon and his crew, of course, patting Beckett's head as I said hi to him. Hiero was playing with a "paper plane," and I helped Ayler with a Nanaimo Bar at the snack table. Eric and I listened to a comedy podcast, then got stuck in traffic to the Arthur Laing Bridge, so we should just have braved the backed-up Knight Street Bridge instead! I finally got home at 12:35 when we'd left the church about an hour earlier... the Canucks played the St. Louis Blues at 12 today, and WON 6-1! I'm just glad that I have unfettered time to blog at my own pace now!

Andre Stelter added me to Facebook - hey, he is a Canucks fan, so why not? I finally got back home at 3:35 on a 407 (going out at 2:10 on a 401) after buying two blue replacement $20 Snapware 35.2L storage containers for my "useless" Sterilite Corp / Sterilite Corporation latched 26L containers x2 / a "useless" Rubbermaid latched 28.4 L container from the nearby London Drugs. One of the lids is dirty, so I disinfected it when I got home. Yay for stepladders and helpful employees when I could find them at the store!

Then I decided to go out AGAIN at 4:45 on a 401 to the Ironwood London Drugs, even with reduced Sunday bus schedules. I went to Shoppers at Richmond Centre first to buy Uncle Ben's Rice x2 (Long Grain and Wild Fine Herbs / Wholegrain and Wild Garden Herb) for November appointment planning. However, I also had to go back across the street to Shoppers Drug Mart from Brighouse Station because the employee there had failed to give my Shoppers Optimum card back to me after I paid for my rice, which did NOT help!

When I finally got the next 408 Ironwood at 5:30, I discovered that a Z-Grip pen had somehow FALLEN APART in my small reusable bag - WTF? Another one was unretracted, so I had to get rid of all that detritus on the bus. At least I finally got my third and final two blue replacement $20 Snapware 35.2L storage container at London Drugs, plus a Purell hand sanitizer because I didn't have one in my small reusable bag for some reason. The expiry date is in March 2021, so it's fine to just chill in there for two and a half years! I FINALLY got home at 6:50 on a 401 when it was getting dark, since I had no patience to wait for the 407.

I got Bah Kut tea noodles, Fat Choy broken straw mushrooms x2, on-sale store brand perogies x2 (potato with cheddar cheese / potato with cottage cheese), 32 Christmas cards spread out over two boxes (one set had a cat on the front with a Santa hat / the other one had a snowman with a scarf and robins!), NEW limited-edition Nutmeg and Cinnamon Triscuits, on-sale store brand mango juice x2, on-sale store brand orange juice x2, and on-sale Original Sapporo Ichiban noodles. Also purchased on-sale Chunky Soup x10 (NEW Texas-Style BBQ Beef / NEW Baked Potato with Bacon / NEW Creamy Chicken Noodle / Seafood Chowder / Chicken Noodle Soup x2 / Chicken à La King / Beef / Chicken Vegetable Pot Pie / New England Clam Chowder), GOOD TASTE dumplings (Beef and Vegetable / Cabbage and Pork / Cabbage and Chicken), on-sale Sidekicks (Garlic Butter with Lemon / Mexican Rice / Tomato Alfredo / Singapore Curry Noodles / Honey Garlic Noodles / White Cheddar Queso), and on-sale Silk almond milk.

Then I convinced Barry to go to the London Drugs so I could try returning the useless American Greetings Christmas cards - they're STOCKING STUFFER SIZE, not mailing size! SUCCESSFUL RETURN! I got home at 1:10, which is surprising. Noticed that the Rosemary and Olive Oil Smartfood Delight popcorn was already expired as of the 21st, so I had to throw it away with the rest of the trash and detritus after trying a bit. Then I noticed that one of the chicken noodle soup cans was dented, so I had to consume that right away as well. UGH!

At 2:45, I went to the pharmacy next door to check on the status of my new birth control prescription since I only have a week's worth of Minoral. The new pharmacist said that I could pick it up tomorrow afternoon, which is good! Vanessa sent me a Facebook message at 4:45 to say that her doctor changed her appointments to 10:15 and 2:40 on Wednesday, so she'll just hang out at her parents' place instead. I did some laundry today, and unsubscribed from r/earthbound because of the shitposts and children there. The latest example: Some 28-year-old thinks that I'm immature and didn't know that there was an age before screenshots. I'm 40, so of course I know that is true! Idiot. He then tried to call me his friend - nope, I don't play that game.

Then Shelley said that she talked to one of the admins of CRIME INC. (where I got banned from the other day) and they said that they had no problem letting me back into the group. Apparently, the creator of the CRIMINALLY LISTED videos caused trouble in their group a few years back, so all his videos are banned. Like I'm supposed to know about that?! Also, my comment about "why is this dog post in a crime group?" was the last straw, and I wasn't the only person to be banned. I'm still not going to go back, though!
