I felt bad because I had genuinely forgotten to give the cleaner a $20 cash tip yesterday (and remembered the time when Eric made us go back to the Pho place next door to church so I could give them a tip for dinner), so after some procrastination, called the EcoClean number given in my text reminder yesterday at 3:55. No, an e-transfer wouldn't work as far as I knew, and neither would a credit card payment on my own non-existent credit card if I didn't want it getting back to my family. The guy said he'd call her and see what she wanted to do.<br /><br />Someone knocked on my door at 6:30, and it turned out to be the cleaner, who actually lives in Richmond! SHE thought I was paying for the service in cash, and wanted to call her boss, but I clarified. I said that I didn't want her to think that someone deliberately didn't tip her since I definitely wanted to show her some appreciation (especially since she was doing it all by herself), so she thanked me and gave me a big hug after I gave her $20 in cash fresh from my wallet.
