I always overshoot the 410 station - I SHOULD GET OFF AT ABERDEEN, NOT HAZELBRIDGE! I texted Barry about payday, and he called me when I was outside Canadian Tire - yeah, I thought I'd have to do it myself again! Then I peeked inside Yaohan - there was a lineup either for Osaka Supermarket or a temperature check service. My last stop was London Drugs: All Clean Natural lemon-mint spray hand sanitizer x2 (no limit), Scrubbing Bubbles, London Naturals orange cleaner, NEW Microban 24-Hour bathroom spray x2 in Fresh and Citrus scents, and portable Wet Ones x2. I had made up my mind to terminate our professional relationship anyway, even before hearing that her practicum session was finishing at the end of February. (which she couldn't even email me about...) During my 20-minute wait for the 405 in the windy weather, I tried helping out an old man by moving my bag on the bus stop bench, but he wasn't having any of it. I also realized that I accidentally wore my red AMOUR shirt from H and M outside in public on Valentine's Day - whoops!

I aired my grievances, including her non-receptiveness to replying to email in a reasonable timeframe. I chose to help Jon out on Wednesdays because there was no way I'd get a response from her in time if she didn't reply on Monday or even Tuesday - Jon's requests were more emergent, and I like spending time with my nephews! I also told her how someone else with REAL anxiety and other issues might feel to be seemingly "ignored," although I know they aren't a crisis line, but she needs to learn as a student. The new location was also a factor; although she SAYS she offered rides and to meet up with me somewhere, I had to say I didn't remember that. I think it ended amicably enough, although of course I cried and then had to fill out the required feedback forms and surveys. She gave me an unexpected gift of a sticky thing to hold a card or two, and I put it on the back of my phone after politely thanking her for that and the good aspects of our sessions and time together.

Once I finally got back into my bubble zone of Richmond, I noticed a bus stop sign saying that the $3 KFC Mega Popcorn box deal was only on until the 16th. Since I wasn't planning on going out before then, I decided to take advantage of it even if more time and energy would be spent. I tried taking a photo of the Shoppers sign saying they were out of hand sanitizer, face masks, and rubbing alcohol... but discovered that my Compass Card in the new sticky thing was blocking the camera! Luckily, I came across some Dairy Queen workers who weren't busy, and the girl unstuck the corner enough for me to figure things out from there. PHEW! I bought the $3 fried chicken and chilled at Richmond Centre for a while. Saw a cute teddy bear offering hugs, so I also took advantage of that. I finally got home at 3:45 on a 407.

Document Destruction Service! Yes, of course I am aware of the need to shred sensitive documents. I had to leave myself plenty of time for getting lost (seeing Krista at Gilbert and Westminster - "Ontario is a magical place because I've never been there"?!), and had to take a 99 at Broadway / Cambie, and then an 8 Fraser bus around the corner at Fraser till I got to 19th, right across from Glad Tidings church. I would have been there earlier than half an hour early if SOME PEOPLE hadn't hesitated for 45 microseconds at the Brighouse station elevator - BE EFFICIENT AND NOT SLOW WHEN OTHERS ARE PLAINLY WAITING FOR YOU AT THE DOOR! The new location has more space and okay enough wifi, plus actual hooks for your coats and things! I had to have an X-ray, but it's not my fault that my mouth is SMALL! Learned that Sean is getting married in July, too! I have to wait till July to try The Pie Hole across the street because I got fluoride as part of my treatment today. Also got a receipt where the insurance paid 100%, but for some reason, I'm keeping it for now.

Went to the Broadway London Drugs to buy an on-sale Creature Chumper with 1500 Zorbees for Hiero's birthday, on-sale Stemnex 4D Transforming Robots for Ayler's birthday, on-sale Nescafé Taster's Choice instant coffee in a 250g canister, and on-sale Andes candy cane Peppermint Crunch before going to Pho Extreme Xe Lua to have a large #17 and figure out the wi-fi from the nearby A&W. Some guy ahead of me was in a fucking hurry at the exit of London Drugs, saying "excuse me" - nope, we are both directly headed to the doors, so you will have to wait. I should have dawdled even more because he was an impatient ass! It's not like I dropped anything, after all. I also had to deal with THE most recalcitrant self-checkout machine! It wouldn't give me the correct start-up screen (thinking I had items to re-scan), wouldn't give me enough time to find a barcode, wouldn't let me scan something without a barcode (the coffee), and wouldn't let me pay without calling an attendant! UGH! SO TIME-CONSUMING!

Finally got home at 5:20, and saw Hester and Ni, so told them about the mouse / steel wool problem, which luckily I had a photo of on my phone! I did notice an odd metallic clanking sound coming from my bag, which turned out to be two of Beckett's red / white molecule balls from yesterday's throwing activities. No wonder I noticed him standing at my bag looking into it, but he does have plenty of balls, so he should be fine till next week. He did seem interested in the safety fluorescent slap bracelet, too. After COFFEE TIME, I left at 1:10 in the rain to see Rishu at Touchstone and have hot chocolate while I talked about my mom and the transit drama. I'd finished up a few Hangouts messages to Mike before I left, having called the Translink Lost Property Office and getting no luck there. I guess red Compass Cards really are valuable since you don't have to top them up!

Then I called the BC Bus Pass Program since Barry can take a while to get back to me, and was put on hold for the next available representative. I HAD TO PEE SO BADLY, and DID! Also, I miraculously remembered my SIN. The guy said he'd put in a request for a replacement right away, and advised that it would be a $10 fee payable at my local bank once I got a letter in the mail. Well, I guess I'm not going too many places in the next two weeks! I did text white Eric, Paulo, and Kathy while I was out, too!

Once I finally got in my comfortable bubble of Richmond again, I saw a guy without any shoes or socks crossing the road to London Drugs. He was talking to himself, too. Come on now, control yourself in public! Then I got on the 401 (should have taken the 407) and came across that Down Syndrome lady on the bus. She thought her knitting bag deserved its own special seat on the rapidly-filling bus, so I said "EXCUSE ME" because she needed to move her fucking bag!

Then she took exception to what I said. "Next time, say excuse me, ma'am, can you please remove your bag?" I told her that she was not entitled to an extra seat and told her to fuck off. After COFFEE TIME, I had to leave at 2 on a 401 and then a 410 (which I just got to on time, no thanks to idiots blocking my path on the sidewalk) for my appointment with Dr. Ruby before I helped with the kids. That was uncomfortable - I also saw a professional Audrey. Also, I had to buy more NEW Beehive Burst Peppermint lip balm at the Dollar Tree since there was no photo online that I could find, so I had to take my own photo. Then I tried to speedwalk over to Lansdowne station a block and a half away, and just missed a Waterfront train thanks to these two slow ladies on the elevator going down.

When I got to Marine Drive station, I definitely needed a snack, so I went to Tim Horton's. Luckily, there was no lineup, so I got a non-sticky cheese tea biscuit and then got out of there to find that a wheelchair wanted to get on the 3 as well. Then a stroller wanted to get on - at least this one contained a fairly curious kid who growled and made various noises, unlike the other stroller who got on after that one left! After another delay caused by the driver stopping in the middle of the road for five minutes to check an alarm that was going off, I finally got to Mount Pleasant at about 4:20 when I could have been there at 4:05! Too many delays! Yeah, I used Term to complain to via text, haha.

Inside, Penny was just finishing up speech therapy while Beckett was failing at napping again. Almost right after Penny left, it was off to the park across the street because Harmony wanted to walk Beckett around the playground to see if he'd nap then. Spoiler alert: He did not. Ayler asked if I wanted to play tag or Manhunt - no, because I had run out of energy and was like a car which had run out of gas. Hiero asked why I walked how I did, so maybe Jon and Harmony should talk to him about it at some point. Once we got home again after more promises of consequences, I got to play with Beckett for a bit. He liked the baby pop-up toy because it made him laugh more than usual, wanted me to shake my head a lot because it was funny, liked PEEK-A-BOO as per Hiero, tried eating my DRAGON HOODIE strings again, and climbed on me a few times. (he did pull Hiero's hair, though!)

At the same time, Hiero was trying to show me his origami. Blowing up squares to make huge boxes, oh my! Later, I stayed close as Beckett crawled on the couch despite Ayler telling me not to let him do it. Well, you're doing and completing a HUGE connect-the-dots puzzle, so I'll do what I want while keeping Beckett safe in my own way, including trying to put on one of his missing socks. We had salmon, congee, Chinese chicken soup, meatballs with ketchup and barbecue sauce, some veggies, and ridiculous amounts of shredded pork. Then we talked about whether Jon had been shot today at the Downtown Eastside (he was fine and didn't have to lie on the floor as per Hiero's question), why people shoot at each other ("because some people think that the best way to resolve their problems is with guns" and "that's why we don't joke about guns"), my Cactus Club birthday dinner, Ayler seeing Brooke early this morning ("how do you know?"), Hiero doing flips and gymnastics in the elevator earlier and being injured, and how much everyone in the family could eat compared to each other.

After I washed dishes for a bit, I read to Hiero about Optimus Prime and the Decepticons, then listened to Ayler play a boogie on the piano before listening to him read a Level 2 story about polar bears. Sure I had to help him with some words, but that's normal. I left at 7:20, but couldn't get a 3 bus till 7:40 thanks to a couple of buses being out of service! I missed a Brighouse train by five minutes, and JUST managed to get a 407 at Brighouse, no thanks to people blocking my path where I was going to run to the front door of the bus. Do I really have to shove my way past other people all the time to get where I'm going in a timely fashion?! I got home at 8:35, checked my mail, and found Julie's birthday card plus random stuff - yay!

Random stuff: Nathan returning the OUTLANDER novel to me, six packs of Compliments Safeway brand spicy chicken instant noodles, and yet another pair of reading glasses. Good thing I didn't buy the Jergens lotion today because of all the walking I had to do, AND the utter weight of the 650-page paperback book!

From WINGS Restaurants and Pubs: Pumpkin spice chicken wings for fall 2019?! I looked up Uncle John's Truth, Trivia, and the Pursuit of Factiness Bathroom Reader (Bathroom Readers Institute) online, and after getting an error message on the Indigo website search, I managed to find it on the site! Then I looked up the Richmond Chapters number, and also managed to put it on hold for me since I was going out to the mall later anyhow - YAY! After COFFEE TIME, I went out at 4:10 on a 407 to meet the family for dinner at the Richmond Centre White Spot. In addition to the Bathroom Reader, I also picked up Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Beyond The Bizarre 16th Annual (Ripley's Believe it Or Not) up since it was just $15. Yeah, it made my bag moderately heavier, but I could handle it. Since I was at Shoppers anyway to prove to Highspirits that a LOT of Nature Valley bars here (his favorite!) were CRUNCHY and you needed a bowl to eat them, I bought the three chewy kinds I could find. Bonus: They were ON SALE! Fruit and Nut, Dark Chocolate, and Mixed Berry!

Thank goodness the mall and White Spot had wi-fi since everyone was LATE! Harmony wondered what I was doing with my phone after she got back from buying clothes at The Children's Place, so I assured her that I wasn't saying anything about the kids on Discord, and she thanked me for that. Jon says that Jeremy spends a lot of time on Twitch, and figured I wasn't really a gamer - true, but it passes the time for sure! The boys greeted me with what I took to be HAPPY BIRTHDAY - better than Mom's greeting of "Do you know how to cancel a person who is dead?" Um, what?! Beckett just stared at me until he warmed up in the high chair - looking out the window, clapping, laughing, and slapping the table were all entertainment to him!

Discussed menu options, making my own decisions, Pirate Paks, various milkshakes, Monday / Tuesday plans (sure I'll go help out on my own birthday!), Kwong Chow with Uncle Stanley, Brooke, parking upstairs, texting,

Mom and Dad's birthday gifts: Tostitos Rounds chips, No Name beef cup noodles, a birthday card with a cat coaster which is now between the fridge and my kitchen counter, Colgate 360 toothbrushes, Colgate Winterfresh Cavity Protection toothpaste, Colgate Cool Mint MaxFresh toothpaste, Burt's Bees ginger-lime lip balm, a tiny 30 mL Purell hand sanitizer, Simple Skincare cleansing wipes, and a new White Cross Scrubs pale blue scrub jacket.

Chargrilled Salmon and Seafood trio for my 2019 family birthday dinner: Wild Pacific Sockeye salmon topped with shrimp, scallops, and clams in a creamy rose sauce with arugula and Campari tomatoes. (they're definitely entitled to use the elevators and trains - I might have made it with the time it took to wheel the person in and out...) The technology simulator was pretty cool, at least.

I did see Dad, which is what I'd been expecting, so I briefly discussed it and he said no if the insurance didn't cover it. I got brochures and the health angle, also expected. Once I finally got out of there at about 2, I saw Dad waiting downstairs. He unexpectedly gave me a ride home because it was really raining by then, and said a bunch of stuff about money and exactly why Mom thought finding the grave in Cuba was "urgent." (Steph will go with her in October?!) At least I got home at 2:40 so I could finally eat!

My next dentist appointment is on Jan. 8 at 2 - I had to go home, check the actual Canucks schedule, and then call the office to change it from the 7th at 1. Then I decided to finally call Dr. Ruby's office and found out that they can't just do a six-month referral to the eye clinic over the phone, since I legally have to go to the office to set it up. The Cheetos had slightly spilled in the plastic tub, so I had to throw them out - UGH! I was too tired or lazy to go out in the cold AGAIN to check my reusable bag, so I did that this morning - yup, there were more Cheetos in there, along with a grease stain on my notebook! Had to throw out the bag and the notebook, and put the scarf and Canucks gloves in the laundry hamper.

I left at 2 to go to The Caring Place to see Rachel on a 414. Then I went to London Drugs for a new replacement red Hilroy notebook / a big new reusable bag / variety hot chocolate pack (Turtles / Coffee Crisp / After Eight) / on-sale Lindt chocolate bars x2 for Harmony's birthday (Caramel and Sea Salt / Lime Zest) / an on-sale white chocolate Aero bar / an on-sale mint chocolate Aero bar for National Chocolate Mint Day today before going home at 4:05 on a 401, which I managed to get just in time before the SNOW started to stick!

From the r/canucks Discord server on December 9, 2018: Colton Saucerman has an awesome name and an epic beard! Dr. Wise's office (Megan) called me at 4:15 to try scheduling a last-minute appointment for tomorrow at noon to REPEAT an eye test that I thought the Willow UBC Eye Care Clinic already did back on November 15! Dr. Wise then said that she wanted to make sure I got the best lens possible, and she needed the info before going into the OR, so couldn't do it while I was asleep during the operation. Okay, I guess... Megan did say it was a hassle, which is right, because I said it was an inconvenience, then felt bad about it. I'd been planning to relax, but whatever! I have to be positive and believe that people will help me if I'm lost - which is bound to happen downtown!

From Erik and Sticks And Hat Tricks: Two parents watching youth hockey! I had their reusable tote bag from Thanksgiving, and their Bobo's Oat Bars x4 (Chocolate Chip / Maple Pecan / Coconut / Lemon Poppyseed) from yesterday. I got there on time (after sitting on some guy's bank statements because he left them on the seat beside him - I WISH I'D BLED ON THEM!), and was able to hang out with Ayler for about half an hour at home by ourselves since Jon had to go somewhere and Harmony had to pick up Hiero at St. Giles preschool. I passed the time by looking at Ayler's school agenda, learning, asking Ayler about the pumpkin patch today, and eating some chocolate while Ayler put together his Canada puzzle quietly.

After we had a very early dinner of Thanksgiving leftovers at 4, Penny the therapist came over at 5. She told both me and Harmony not to react to whatever Ayler was doing "wrong," but REALLY? I got to hang out with Beckett (who was in his bouncer sometimes), and Hiero "told on me" for bouncing the baby in said bouncer - whatever! I was gentler than either of them were when they were trying to "make him feel better"! Beckett held his favorite colorful toy for quite a while, is starting to vocalize, and "screamed" at me excitedly. So cute! I was fine with him on his colorful mat as well when Ayler and Hiero had bathtime. Yes, I laughed when I heard bubbles coming from both ends! Jon says the cleaners are coming over Monday at 10 AM, and Harmony says it'll only be two hours, but that's fine. I thanked her again on my way out!

When I finally left after bathtime and bedtime, I exchanged the Febreze air fresheners (Harvest Pumpkin / Hawaiian Aloha) from yesterday for Febreze fabric deodorizers at the nearby Save-On Foods. Next time, I should just get them from London Drugs since they're cheaper over there by $2! I got the 3 Marine Drive station bus (which only comes once every half hour) with a minute to spare, and finally got home at 9:05 on a 407, which wasn't helped by the fact that the 401 was already at the bus stop! At least I finally had peace and quiet when I got home, but I wondered what was going on with a certain someone. WE WERE HAVING A GOOD FEW DAYS AND CONVERSATION, JIMMY! WHY BLOCK ME FOR NO REASON THIS MORNING?!
